Undercover SEAL

Rate this book
He’s everything she should fear…
Bristol Munoz’s life has never been typical. Or safe. Raised by her father, a Mexican drug lord who murdered her mother, Bristol knows she’s nothing but a bargaining chip to her father. He’ll give her to the man most able to further his cartel’s powerful holdings, and her life will go from bad to worse. Her only hope is to try another escape…Then he arrives. He’s different than the other men in her father’s compound, but no less dangerous. Maybe more so, because she’s attracted to him.

But all she really wants.
Working undercover for the CIA was not how Navy SEAL Nash Cantrell wants to spend his time. But keeping missiles out of the wrong hands is something he can handle. However, he didn’t count on part of his mission involving getting close to Bristol. He can’t afford to like her, but can’t stop himself. She’s a commodity her father won’t let go easily. When his cover is blown, Nash has to stop the deal—and save Bristol.

When the plan goes wrong and Bristol is kidnapped, Nash will break every rule to get her back.
Or die trying.

Undercover SEAL by Paige Tyler

Fast moving romantic suspense. Part of a series of a SEAL team. Can be read as a standalone romance.
Action, adventure and instant attraction for the Navy SEAL and mobster’s daughter.
Yummy. The feeling of thrilling sexual anticipation when the hero and heroine are able to take a few moments for themselves and indulge. Strong it is, in the book.

Pure romantic escapism. Loved it.

Undercover Seal Book 4 in Seals of Coronado by Paige Tyler-

Full of action as Navy Seal Nash goes undercover and if the mission goes belly up things could get ugly. They thing he doesn’t expect is Bristol Munoz. She’s the daughter of a big Mexican drug lord. A very dangerous man you don’t want to cross. He will fight for her, but that could get them both killed.

Bristol is nothing to her father. When Nash comes into her life she isn’t sure what to make of him.

See what happens.

Book 4 in The Seal's of Coronado series is about Nash Cantrell and Bristol Munoz. Nash's last mission has somehow now turned into working undercover for the CIA to help keep weapons out of a drug dealer's hands. The one thing he never counted on was meeting Bristol or realizing that she needed to help and might just be more important than his mission. Bristol's life has changed in ways she never expected. A prisoner of her father to be used as a bargaining chip, she knows she has to find a way out. She just doesn't know how she will make that happen or the how to stay free once it does. Meeting (and being offered to) a weapons dealer is now how she expected her life to change.

I absolutely loved this one! Bristol may be being put through hell but she still manages to be strong and try to plan out a different life than the one she now has. And the fact that she can realize exactly who she can trust in the midst of the types of people that surround her father just make her smarter than you truly realize. Nash is exactly the type of hero I like. He is strong, protective, and will do what he knows is right regardless of whether that's what his mission should be. And knowing that his team will have his back regardless of the consequences is an awesome thing to read about. These two compliment each other and reading about them coming through the bad and still managing to find their happy is a great thing. Awesome read!

Another great read by Paige Tyler. “Undercover SEAL” is the fourth book in the SEALs of Coronado series. This book is Navy SEAL Nash Cantrell and Bristol Munoz’s story. Bristol is the daughter of a drug lord in Mexico, who also had her mother murdered for daring to leave him and take there daughter. Meanwhile Nash and his team member Dalton where sent to Mexico after a mission for the CIA when they found missiles aboard a cargo ship. For Nash and Dalton are sent to Mexico because Nash looks likes Nick Chapman who is a weapons expert who is to train Munoz, Bristol’s father, and his people. Nash is being sent undercover as Nick to find out the plan for the missiles while Dalton is his security. When Nash meets Bristol he finds her beautiful especially when he meets her gaze and finds her memorizing. He became tongue tied. Bristol on the other hand was not thrilled for her father threatened her with marriage to his right hand man unless she is nice to “Nick.” She found “Nick” to be extremely attractive for she cannot stop thinking about him. Now the questions to ask is do Bristol and Nash fall in love? Is the Undercover opp a success? As a reader I believe you should read this book to find out. For you will find betrayal, intrigue, and love all in one book. For honestly I would recommend this book.

I was given an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest review.

UNDERCOVER SEAL was a fast paced read and much like the previous books in the series, it weaves together the romance and suspense well. Unfortunately, it's almost too similar to the previous books (at least in overall feel) so I was a bit tired of the story part way through. That being said, I did like Bristol a lot. She doesn't support her father's criminal activities and wants to escape but he's keeping her prisoner at his villa. Nash becomes her way out and their relationship develops from there. Though I thought it was interesting that she hates her father so much but seemed totally fine with the supposed illegal weapons trade Nash (undercover as Nick) was involved in. *shrugs*

Nash was your typical badass Navy SEAL who saves the day and falls unconditionally for his woman, but he doesn't really stand out from the rest of SEAL Team 5 so he wasn't terribly interesting to me.

I just had a very thrilling visit with a daring and courageous Navy SEAL and a brave young woman in Paige Tyler’s newest SEALs of Coronado book.
Undercover SEAL is the fourth book in the series and the plot takes a couple of the SEALs on a mission that is a little out of their depths, or maybe puts those SEALs into a ‘fish out of water’ position that could end in their deaths if they don’t get it right. This fast paced and exciting story kept me glued to the pages with lots of action, suspense and a few surprises along the way which also kept me wondering what would happen next. Lots of excitement to be found but the fact that Nash is working undercover adds an intense expectation feel to the life or death situation that they find themselves in.

The characters are strong, captivating and easily held me hostage until the very end as I got to know them more and I found that the relationship growing between to be full of sizzling chemistry and of course since this should have been an attraction that both fought tooth and nail but couldn’t deny adds even more spice to the story and let me just say that Bristol had a few surprises for me as well.

Paige Tyler always makes all her worlds are well developed and so lifelike that I easily slip right into the thrilling stories and easily connect with her captivating characters. Undercover SEAL was a thrilling read and I can’t wait to go on another mission with the SEALs of Coronado.

Nash finished a routine mission--routine meaning nothing went like it was supposed to--expecting to return home with his team. Instead, he lands in Mexico with one of his team and no other information about a new mission with the CIA. If the reason wasn't so dangerous to the world, in general, these SEALs would not take part.

Bristol is the daughter of a Cartel Drug Lord. She's a prisoner, a pawn, to be used to further his position. When she is asked to "be nice" to the man Nash is pretending to be, a war of interest and mistrust begins.

The lack of information adds to the danger. Nash and Bristol have to decide if they can trust their feelings and work together to save her and the mission. The father's men are brutal and the US people are far outnumbered. Trust among the US agencies is not much better than their trust of the drug Lord's people.

The characters are noble, strong, with a sense of humor, and loyalty unmatched. The bad guys are really bad with no redeeming features. The danger and steam keep our couple on their toes with little opportunity to act on their feelings.
I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

Undercover Seal is the fourth books in Paige Tyler’s Seals of Coronado Series.

Nash Cantrell is a Navy Seal who is working undercover with the CIA to keep missiles out of the hands of the Mexican Drug Cartel. While undercover, he meets Bristol Munoz, daughter of the drug lord he is investigating. Their attraction was instant and explosive, but as things go wrong they must work together to stay one step ahead of the bad guys. Will they survive? Or will death be their ending? Read it to find out!

I have read most of Tyler’s books, but I especially love this series because I love alpha military romances with lots of non-stop action. Both the heroes and heroines in Tyler’s books are good, strong characters with strong morals and personalities. I loved the details given to their backgrounds and storylines.

All the books in Paige Tyler’s Seals of Coronado Series contain a happily ever after and can be read as a standalone, however, reading it in order will give you a better appreciation for the characters and the series itself. I can’t wait to read Dalton’s story in the next book!

I always love the SEALs of Coronado series’ books. These SEALs were badass guys with good heart.

In this book, the SEALs were tasked in a quite different situation that they used to. One of them even tasked way out of it; our hero Nash. Tasked to do an undercover within a Mexican drug cartel, he met the one woman for him, none other than the cartel’s drug lord’s daughter. Bristol, said daughter, was just a bargaining chip to her father, and she loathed her father’s army. Yet she fell in love with one, or she thought he was one.

In the midst of high suspense, Bristol and Nash tried (and failed) to fight their attraction and feeling for each other. Their characters were so real that I got anxious to see them both well and happy in the end. And of course, I got that HEA in the end, after they and I got through numerous ordeal along the way.

Sooo in love with this story!

I was provided a complementary copy by the author / publisher, but this in no way influenced my thoughts or opinions.

Working with the CIA wasn't quite what Nick expected when he became a SEAL but here he was in Mexico, establishing himself as a buyer with Luiz Munez, a major player in the Armador Cartel.

His first surprise is at dinner with the man. Luiz was practically offering his daughter, Bristol to Nick. Bristol hadn't said anything about the way she was being treated at least not until Luiz mentioned her mother.

Bristol does have an ulterior motive for getting close to Nick. She wants to get away from her father, permanently and Nick just might be her way out. One thing Bristol didn't count on was falling in love with the man. It certainly wasn't in Nick's plans either. The heat between these two works its way off the charts in a slow steady way.

Bristol makes a critical choice when Nick's cover is blown, one that changes everything.

Fast paced, with plenty of drama and action. Not a book you will be able to put down.

Wow ... what a storyline. Undercover SEAL is action packed, with a lot of surprises, unexpected twists and turns and a really sweet yet steamy romance. Nash Cantrell is not perfect, yes he is a SEAL and pretty darn close, but I loved the way author Paige Tyler adds in some less than perfect mishaps (example: the not quite on point landing on the ship in the beginning ... you have to read to know what I mean.) She makes these characters come to life without being over the top heroes, just the well trained, brave, tough guys next door. Bristol Munoz is a tough young woman who knows her days are numbered but still fights for survival in a world where she is considered little more than a pawn.

Fantastic, fun read that will have you on the edge of your seat, smiling and maybe cheering for the good guys!

I really enjoyed this story! The characters were fantastic and it was a great plot. The story is well written and pulled me in from beginning to end. Bristol is trying to figure out a way to get away, safely, from her father and what he's gotten everyone into. She is essentially a prisoner in her own home and is trying to find safety. In walks Nash who is undercover as an arms dealer. Bristol and Nash are immediately drawn together but their situation makes things a little sticky for them. Nash wants to help her but he can't tell her who he is and she isn't sure that she can trust him. Their connection can't be denied though and it is something that they hold onto when things start going wild. This story had plenty of action and intrigue. It was a great story and was well paced. I was fully engaged the whole time I was reading it.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Paige Tyler's tagline is "Hunky Heros and Kick Butt Heroines," this book definitely lives up to that slogan. Even though it's part of a series you can dive right into the action if you haven't read the other books. Bristol had dreams of a successful career when she returned from college to her Father's fortress but she has been held against her will in the Mexcian home built with his drug cartel money for over a year.
Nash is the complete opposite of Bristol's Dad, he may be undercover but his core values still shine through. A seal can't hide his true nature. Joining forces with Bristol to give her the future she planned what could possibly go wrong?
A great combination for the action and romance lover in us all!

While I have enjoyed the SEALs of Coronado series, this one did not resonate with me like the others. Maybe too predictable? Both MC and the supporting characters were enjoyable however, this one seems rushed. Perhaps Nash comes across as more of a known quantity because he’s certainly similar to the other SEAL characters but Bristol came off a little too weak...not wanting to give anything away here, but given her circumstances, she seems to be too trusting of Nash too soon.

If you want a quick summer afternoon read where the damsel in distress gets saved by the hero with some drama thrown in - read this!

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, however, this is my honest opinion.

It's a thrill ride starting with two Navy Seals, Nash and Dalton. They are brought into an undercover OP by the CIA to deal with a drug Lord from a big Mexican cartel who is amassing huge piles of weapontry. Surrounded by knife wielding psychotic criminals. A crazy drug Lord and his daughter who's desperately trying to escape the hell. There is danger everywhere. Then just as they are ready to end the OP everything comes apart. Full of suspense and intrigue which keeps you turning pages to find out what's going to happen next.

Great addition to the series.

Nash was a SEAL not an undercover agent but he finds himself in just that situation. Once the operation begins, he and his teammate are determined to get the job done and get out as quickly as possible. Nash is in this situation because of the CIA but finds that they are not as helpful as he would like.

Bristol hates her father and the fact that she is basically a prisoner in her own home. When Nash shows up, Bristol finds herself attracted to him despite the fact that she believes he's a criminal her father wants her to be nice to him. But can she trust him to help her get away?

After reading the preceding books in this series, I held out hope that Paige Tyler would return to Coronado and write more stories about these wonderful SEALs; guess I finally got my wish!

As with the previous stories, Undercover SEAL is jam-packed with action, danger, intrigue and romance. A well-written story of an unimaginable evil, this is definitely one not to be missed. I loved Nash and Bristel’s characters and the easy banter between Nash and his buddy Dalton, was hugely entertaining.

Thank you Ms Tyler for another fabulous story that I easily devoured in one sitting.

Undercover SEAL is the fourth book in the SEALs of Coronado series by Paige Tyler.
Nash Cantrell and Bristol Munoz are an unlikely pair. Nash is a Navy Seal and Bristol is a drug lords daughter. A dangerous undercover mission is how they meet. The first meeting does not go well since Bristol believes Nash is as bad as her father, Bristol is being used by her father as bargaining chip to get Nash to work for her father. Will Nash be able to keep Bristol safe when everything goes wrong? I loved this book, the story is original with a lot of twists and turns that keep you on your feet. The characters are amazing.

I've been waiting for this book to come out! Read it and loved it although it is a little predictable in parts. Bristol is being held at home by the father who murders her mother and has been under house arrest for over a year. In comes Nash who has to play an undercover agent just because he looks like the bad guy. It all goes wrong and this is where it gets a bit predictable but still a lot of fun to read.

This is great suspense with romance. This book is fast paced and action packed. It had me from page one. There is plenty of spice and romance, a little humor, as well as drama and suspense. The characters are captivating, and had my interest from the start. There is evil, and danger thru out that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend. I received this book as a gift and voluntarily give this review.

I truly love this authors writing style and characters. I love that her books give you a real in depth character driven story and not just sex, sex and more sex. I've bought every book so far by this author in usually both ebook form as well as audio and highly recommend them you give this book and author a try. If you like a real story with a little romance in the mix then this is the author to go to.

I look forward to your next book Ms. Paige.

Navy SEAL Nash Cantrell is the kind of hero everyone can love. He isn’t a player he is just a good guy trying to do a hard job. That job puts him in a lot of dangerous situations but this is the first time his heart has been on the line. Bristol is in a bad place but help is on the horizon from an unlikely direction. Watching these two find each other made my heart happy.

The romance and suspense were so good, i was so capture by the story from the beginning till end. This was my kind of military romantic suspense because the heroine was not difficult woman even when she lived in fear because of her bad father. She putted her trust on the hero and she was right because the hero was so sweet and would do anything for her.

This one was pretty predictable, but it was fun to see Nash be truthful to Bristol while talking to her and for Bristol to trust Nash. Nash did a great job of working undercover until he wasn't able to at the end.
