The book “The Christian Orthodox Faith” by Archimandrite Epiphanios Hatziyangou was recently published in Greece and is now available in English. It was written with the purpose of presenting the Orthodox Christian faith in a concise and simple way. It is a thorough catechetical work that relates to every Orthodox Christian, but also to anyone wanting to learn more about Orthodoxy. It is a summary of a series of about 100 homilies on the Symbol of Faith. These homilies, which are available in audio form on the internet, were based on the “Catechism” of Saint Cyril of Jerusalem, the “Exact Edition of the Orthodox Faith” by Saint John of Damascus, the “Eortodromion” of Saint Nicodemus of the Holy Mountain, “The foundations of the Faith” by Konstantinos Kallinikos, and other works of contemporary great theologians, such as Fr Anthony Alevizopoulos.
This was very informative and answered a lot of questions that I had concerning the difference between Orthodoxy and Catholicism. So beautifully written, but I didn't expect anything else.
