Presented with the possibility of having a true mate, Shan is willing to overlook Harper's deception—mostly. He's certain that there's a wolf inside of her, but bringing it out might be the greatest challenge he's ever faced.
As their relationship escalates, Shan tightens his control over Harper. Between him and the creature threatening to consume her from within, it seems that everyone knows who she is and what she needs, except for her.
I feel like this series is the culmination of all the other shifter series I’ve read by Viola Rivard and it’s all paying off in the best way. I love Shan and Snow and can’t wait to see what’s coming up for them in May.
I really loved following Harper these are great books. I was disappointed but the ending in this. It was cut short.like the author cut it so she could make the third book. That being said, I can't wait for that third book.
The big reveal that Harper is Snow basically ruined this series for me. Harper acts like an ignorant human who knows nothing about pack life. As the daughter of an Alpha who GREW UP in a pack (even if she did go live with humans as a teenager) she should have known better. She acts like a total idiot throughout both books.
Shan doesn't help things. I liked him at first, though he has really bad communication skills with Harper. A lot of the issues/drama between them could have easily been resolved if he just talked to her. I really like Viola's writing. I think she does a great job of writing romance, but where the MMC isn't super loving/affectionate with the FMC. I like the way she writes her characters, her characters are always flawed and I love that, but at the same time a lot of them are super annoying as a result lol.

I gave up on this book at around 73%. This book is okay but I didn't really enjoy it. First we get to discover who Harper was, who she is, and what she changed into. All three of these parts of her are not the same character and I believe this is what really turned me off to this story. Not to mention that Harper enters this story with two of her closest friends but they fall into distant memory before a quarter of the book is read. Her secret wasn't surprising but her reasons for returning are left weak at the end. What was the point of her seeking out a shifter pack? Apparently it's forgotten rather quickly.
Maybe I'll pick this one back up, only because she actually wrote a whole book and not string it along in parts.
Things are getting very exciting with Shan & Harper. I flew through this and couldn’t put it down!! Their journey has been fascinating, both in new and sometimes scary territory. I am totally taken with the both of them. I can’t wait for the next one!!!
I can't say enough! This so good once I started the book I couldn't put it down. It's so frustrating when the of the book comes too soon. Now I have to wait for the next edition.
These are a great read and I just realized that I read about Snow like 3 years ago. I wish authors would not drag out for years even if they are wonderful reads l they these. Does anyone know where book 3 is. It is way past the announced release date?
Shan and Harper is the bests. I can't wait for the next book i hope the baby are babies are safe also it would be nice if she have a happy ending with Alger her dad.
