Book 4 in the series. Vivi wrote a story that has all the human elements , murder , love , not deciding what to do next , not deciding what steps to take to make things right .
Hero is Dan. Heroine is Claudine.
Dan is on a quest for revenge, the women he loves was murdered and the baby almost died. Dan has an idea who did it , he rides to Wyoming to get the evil men back . Dan thinks he killed the men but he is mistaken.
While on his way he meets Claudine who is looking also for her daughter . Claudine was kidnapped and brought to the ranch Dan is trying to find the men who murdered his love .
Will Dan give up on the murder (Vendetta ) or help Claudine and her daughter. Grab it and find out.
Amanda performance was great. Her voice is smooth and clear

A choice between finding love or seeking revenge!
Cheyenne Reckoning is the fourth book in the sweet contemporary western romance, Paradise Valley series. A unique and captivating story with romance and a happy-ending that we all have come to expect. Like all of Vivi Holt series, this is another story that I had a hard time putting down. It is such a passionate, unique and captivating story. While on the quest for revenge, Dan gets entangled with Claudine who is on the run. Claudine learns to love and trust amongst danger and ruthless kidnappers. Dan must decide if revenge is worth losing a chance with the woman, he unexpectedly fell in love with. As I have come to expect from this author, the characters are well developed and engaging. I really like that Vivi Holt creates characters that are easy to connect to and realistic.
Vivi Holt spins a remarkable tale in such a way that it will keep you entertained from beginning to end. Mrs. Holt brings the story to life with love and support that will keep you reading and not want to put the book down. This book is just what I have come to expect from this talented author. I recommend Cheyenne Reckoning to anyone that likes to read sweet romance with a happily-ever-after ending.

Another riveting story in the Paradise Valley series, Vivi Holt takes on a taboo topic of the times, as well as a suspense filled romance! Claudine, a slave running for life with her baby, is captured and sold separately from her child. Now on a mission to locate her little girl, she finds herself caught up in danger. Dan Graham arrives at the house of the woman he loves only to find that she has been killed. Now seeking revenge, he crosses paths with Claudine. What these two don't realize is not only is there danger on their horizon, but feelings are growing! Will they survive and find love? Holt writes with love in her heart. It's a story of family, motherly love, hurt and revenge and blossoming romance. I loved Dan and Claudine because their love didn't see the color of their skin. They found love and solace in each other in times of fear, times of love and looked to the future with love in their hearts.
Amanda Stribling brings this gem to life with her wonderful voices. She has a knack for understanding her characters and is able to add that in to voices she uses. I enjoy her narrations, and am glad she has continued this series.

Dan is determined to find Dolly's killer. Heck he had been about to ask her to marry him. On the trail of the killer, he runs into Claudine at the killer's home trying to get her daughter away. Claudine had run with her baby many years ago but they had caught her and taken her little girl. After many years she had finally tracked her down and had gone to take her with her.
A historical lesson including the Underground railroad and how Claudine as a slave was treated. Heart wrenching but she did find her and she ends up with Dan trying to not be caught while he is seeking revenge.

Great story with a twist.
Dan leaves Paradise Ranch Montana to avenge Dollys murder. He rides to Cheyenne where the two men he holds responsible for Dollys death live. His first attempt to kill the boss fails. He thinks he has killed the murderer, but he was only wounded. He ends up helping a woman and her daughter leave the Cheyenne ranch as they are being held against their will. He has not given up his plans, but continuing with his vendetta only brings more problems for him and the two women. Can he give up his revenge to help the mother and daughter find a better life? Really enjoyed this one.

I purchased a copy of Paradise Valley Series book 4:Cheyenne Reckoning by ViVi Holt and this review was given freely.
Poignant, drama and action packed with frequent violence but a happy ending. Dan must give up his love for Dolly when he finds her murdered and baby Emily almost dead in her crib. Irony and coincidence place Dan,who is seaking Dolly's killer, and Claudine, who is seeking her daughter who was kidnapped eight years prior, in Cheyenne, wyoming.
Portions of this book include Claudine's travels with the underground railroad,the loss of her daughter, the inhumanity of a slaves recapture, and multiple murders.

Such a great story of a courageous slave whose baby is taken away. She later becomes free and searches for her daughter. She finds her 8 years later and must go through several trials to get her to safety. She also meets a cowboy, Dan who is bent on revenge for the murder of a woman he was fixing to marry. He does not expect to meet the strong, Claudette and now he must make a decision about revenge or love. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.

Historical Western Romance
So far I've read book 4 and 5 of "Paradise Valley ". I have laughed in some parts and shivered in other parts. This story is about Dan, Claudine, and Gracie. Join them in their journey. Enjoy this story I did. Now on to to either book 1, 2, or 3.

Another exciting chapter in the Paradise Valley Saga. This action packed story moves at a breathless pace as cowboy Dan Graham’s search for revenge against a murderer changes into a rescue mission and then a romance.

Good addition to this series. Glad Claudine found Grace and justice was finally served. Dan is a great character. Believable and wish more men had his sense of honor.

I loved reading this book! I loved the characters and the plot! I had a hard time
putting this wonderful book down! If I could give more stars, I would for all of the
