Iron Fury MC #4

Sassy Little Thing

Rate this book
People, in my opinion, don’t take happiness seriously enough.
They go through life, constantly trying to please other people.
I do, however, take my happiness seriously.
Very seriously.
But, when things in my life, go suddenly south, I am left with more than one choice.
Do what’s right, or do what’s wrong?
That, on any normal day, would be an easy choice for me.
I’ll do whatever I need to keep my life flowing with happiness.
But when it comes to love, everything changes.
And him.
I love him.
Which means I have to correct my wrong doings.
I need him to forgive me.
I need money.
It’s the only way.
When a job for a live-in maid comes up, with excellent pay, I jump at the chance.
When I realize it’s for the member of a Motorcycle Club, I still don’t back down.
Even if it means I have to live with and work for, one of the hottest, broodiest and most difficult men I’ve ever met.
I’ll do whatever it takes.
Only, I don’t expect to actually like him.
The mysterious biker.
The one who I seem drawn to.
And now I have a real problem.
Do what’s right, or let my heart take me where it wishes?
Two men. Once choice.
Things are about to get very, very complicated.

ARC-BOOK REVIEW
Release Date-19/4/18

I have read a few Bella Jewel book's in the past and as usual this offering "Sassy Little Thing" certainly didn't disappoint.
I was invested here right from the get-go and this would have been a full house in regards to star rating but there were some teensy little things that pulled this down slightly for me
Let me start by saying this can totally be read as a standalone.
This was the only book in this series I have read and I had no issues following along or keeping up with the storyline here.
Reading the others in this series may enhance your immersion into this world but it by no means is necessary to enjoy "Sassy Little Thing"
So this was lol funny and I adored Saskia's spirit right from the start.
She was the sort of girl that you can't help smile at and I adored how she just kept things so real.
I fell in love with her outgoing tenacious zest for life.
And though life had given her lemons she was defiantly making lemonade with them.
My kind of girl.

download.jpg

But at the same time, I also wanted to give her a great big swift kick up the derriere for putting up with her ex's bullshit behaviour.
Instead of completely kicking his lying, cheating scumbag arse to the kerb.

source

And as for the sister, there are just no words to describe her arse-wholery antics, what a complete and utter cow she was.
I think here Saskia was way too forgiving.
I would have thrown her to the wolves myself, karmas a bitch.

mMROX.gif

I also enjoyed Mason's brooding bad-boy smoulders and I loved how he and Saskia rolled together such a fabulous dynamic.
This also had a fabulous array of side characters that I so enjoyed getting to know better.
This really wasn't a dark read, but there were some elements near the end that could trigger.
My only main issue was that I wasn't a lover of where the storyline went in regards to an alleged betrayal.
I was not a happy bunny and was totally bummed at the lack of trust where I thought it really wasn't warranted.
I understand things looked bad on the surface but no-one looked for a deeper reasoning behind Saskia's supposed actions.
There was just no understanding.
My other gripe was just me spitting my dummy out and without going into great detail I was like "well if you had given Saskia the benefit of the doubt, then certain actions could have been avoided"
I know OBSCURE MUCH!!!
I just felt gut-wrenchingly destroyed for Saskia and wanted to give her a massive big hug.
So this was a fabulous read and it is only the above couple of gripes that impelled me to remove a star.
Despite that, I really enjoyed "Sassy Little Thing" it had just the right balance of humour and drama to keep me intrigued and invested.
A sassy sure bet people.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of "Sassy Little Thing (Iron Fury MC Book 4)" of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

What can you say, it's Bella Jewel. I love her writing, always have. This is the continuation of the Iron Fury MC read and it evolves around biker Mason and our 'sassy little thing' Saskia. Will say I loved her, great personality and quick wit. Had a bit of a hard time getting to like Mason and honestly not one of my favorite characters. That being said loved the book and recommend it.

“It’s not an easy task. I know how you feel,” I tell him. “You could try to gently shove her off a cliff. As long as you put on the tears, no one will think you done it…”

Saskia is a hoot and my favorite in the series 😂. I often love her but there were times I want to wring her neck, especially when it comes to Enzo😅. I love that she is paired with Mason who is the very opposite of her. Mason is the quiet and withdrawn one in the bunch. Though it saddens me that yet again that the H wouldn’t let the h explain. Why do they always assume the worst when it comes to their women?😳 But in Mason’s case and his proof it's understandable to assume. I just didn’t like that they wouldn't let her explain.

Overall this is an okay story, it was fast-paced and easy to read. Good addition to the series.👍🏻

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Saskia has been hurt by her ex and her sister in the worst way. She has done nothing but try to make wrongs right. She takes a job as Mason's Maid. When she finds out that Mason is a member of Iron Fury MC she is over the moon happy and fits perfectly in his household. When she renege on a deal with her ex who is in prison he sends people out to convince her otherwise. Mason can't resist the smart and sassy woman who wears boy shorts and t-shirts around his house at night. So when she is threaten he will do anything to protect her. When danger lands on Saskia's front door and she is accused of the unthinkable she is put in extreme danger and the clock is ticking down in time to save her. HOLY COW!!! This has to be the hottest book I have read in a long time. My kindle was smoking when I finished. The men of Iron Fury MC embraced Saskia as one of their own once she walked in Mason's door. I loved this story it was full of twists and turns. This is a series that I can't wait to read more on and I can't wait for Chantele, Boston and Penny's story next. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!
~~~~~~~~~~Julie's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~~

Saskia is a quite literally, a sassy woman. She doesn’t sugarcoat things and she is always friendly. Her ex is in prison and he wants her to pay his debt off. She takes a job for Mason, cleaning his house. Little does she know, her life is about to change forever. These two battle family and when he finds out about her situation, all bets are off. He will keep her safe. One misunderstanding might be the end for them. Can she do the right thing and let her heart take her where she needs to be or will she lose the best thing ever? Awesome writing with a storyline that is phenomenal.

Saskia tells it like it is... at times she was hilarious. I could not imagine her as a maid though.
When she goes to work for Mason, things begin to heat up. I enjoyed this couple, but they certainly had their drama with each other, ex and their sibblings. Another well written story by Bella, I have enjoyed this whole series so far.

I really liked this book, but then the heroine got pathetic.

The last 20% was completely unnecessary. It ruined the whole book for me.

I've been in a bookish funk for almost 2 months and while I've been listening to audiobooks and making half-hearted attempts at picking up my kindle it wasn't until recently that I started to see the sparkle of books again. And while this isn't the book that brought me out of that funk, IT IS one of the little sparklers I've read since then.

Sassy Little Thing is the 4th book in the Iron Fury MC series by Bella Jewel. I've only read one other book by Bella Jewel, and it wasn't one of the Iron Fury books, but it was enough to make me want to jump into this series right in the middle. This is a series of standalones, and they feel like standalones. I didn't feel like I was missing out on something because I hadn't read the other books. I DID want to go and read the other books in the series.

Saskia is everything the title promised and Mason is one incredibly ALPHA biker. The storyline was unbelievable but still enjoyable for those of us that don't care about how likely something is to really happen. I definitely enjoyed my time with these characters and I think I'll try to make time to read about the rest of the Iron Fury MC.

I received an advance reader copy of this book that I have chosen to review.

Saskia is exactly what the title of this book is all about, she is a sassy little thing that will give back what she takes but twice as hard. She treats people the way she would like to be treated and is as honest as they come. Still hung up on her lying cheating ex she feels guilty about putting him in jail so offers to pay off his debt before he gets released, but when she takes a new job cleaning Masons house she didn't bargain on a biker and then eventually ending up in his bed. Both of them have their secrets and their demons lingering and after sharing that fact with each other it breaks down some barriers. However relationships are mostly built on trust and Mason thinks Sassy has well and truly shattered his which can only end in disaster.

Well now I am torn as to which fine male biker specimen in this series I adore most. I mean alpha hotness and fierce protectiveness is in abundance with Iron Fury MC men. Mason is no exception to this, he is as alpha as they get when it comes to what us readers want in their male leads and I don't think I ever want this series to end! Saskia is just as fierce though, she doesn't hold back and becomes the perfect heroine for those who like a strong female lead. I didn't want it to end and I can't wait until June to see how Boston, Penny and Chantelle's little triangle works out. I know who I am going to be rooting for!

What a funny, entertaining, sassy as hell story I had the privilege of reading by the talented Bella Jewel. This MC romance had me glued to the pages from get-go. I laughed, I held my breath and I absolutely was panting with the raw and possessive love scenes that transpired throughout this book.

This is book four of the Iron Fury MC series but you don’t have to read the others to follow the storyline. You're easily transported into their lives and the angst between the two main characters is hot as hell. The slow burn and sassy banter leave you laughing your head off and breathless all in one sentence. The passion between Mason and Saskia, and seriously what a cool name is that, is absolutely worth the wait.

The story has other layers apart from hot love scenes. There’s loss that absolutely melts your heart and a compassion that defines the hero in this story as a beautiful soul. Revenge and heartbreak is what gives this story lift but I loved the heroine the most. She definitely was what made the story for me. She might be little but that mouth of hers is full of sass and humour that’s refreshing and strong.

I highly recommend this read to everyone that loves angsty, slow burn reads that explode with desires full of passion and heart.

Nope didn't work for me.
NOTE: the following is a synopsis for me, feel free to ignore

FEELINGS: I didn't connect with any of the characters in this book, they all felt so flat. The is h is suppose to be a sassy, take no sh*t personality. But she didn't really have any depth. And both sisters are just plain evil for no real reason other than they are "bad" the main characters are "good". This author writes some amazing angsty/drama filled stories but this one left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

This is the fourth book in the Iron Fury MC. This is a standalone. i have loved all of the books though, so you should read them all.

This is Mason's book.

I loved the bet at the beginning. Who would have thought that a biker hiring a maid would be so hard? That is until Saskia comes knocking on his door.

I absolutely love Saskia. She has a mouth on her and she's sassy. She doesn't get scared of the big bad bikers.

She hasn't had it great because of what Enzo and Yolanda have done to her. I wanted to kill them both.

Mason also has an evil sister. She's an entitled bitch.

There were times I wanted to slap them both for being so stupid.

"You choose your life, do you not? Sure, don't get me wrong, you might have a bad start, a horrific story to tell, and shit go down that is far from pleasant, but you still choose how you walk your path. Do you drag your feet, feeling sorry for yourself and living in misery, or do you pick your damned feet up and skip down that path, refusing to let anyone knock you down?"

Sassy Little Thing is such a perfect title for this book as it describes Saskia to a "T". The fourth book in the Iron Fury MC series in my opinion has been the best of the best. This book made me laugh till I cried, it was full of angst, sass and packed full of action and drama. Let's not forget that the sexual chemistry between Mason and Saskia just sparks right off the pages of this book. Hot and Steamy does not even begin to describe these two when the attraction can no longer be ignored. Their story is about learning to be happy, putting yourself first and risking it all to put your trust in someone. Saskia is a character that you will totally fall in love with and one that I hope we get to experience more of in this series.

This book is why I fell in love with Bella Jewel MC books. Saski was a hoot and one strong heroine. I loved her heart and confidence. Regardless of the obstacle she coached herself through it. Found acceptance within. As far as the messed up situation, boy that was one greedy deed. In the end Mason proved to be reliable and open hearted. Demons and evil siblings be damned.

I guess to be a member of the Iron Fury you have to be hard headed. Once again our hero does not let Saskia explain anything. Thank goodness he got wise or else he'd have screwed the sister too. Not sure why she kept the twin thing a secret. I'd have been worried I'd get mistaken for my bitch of a sister. It's not like they lived in different cities. It would have taken me awhile to forgive all of them. Like the previous books hero is with an OW after meeting h. Saskia comes across a woman tied to his bed.

Ughhhhh, I understand she’s supposed to be “sassy,” but Saskia is ANNOYING. And pathetic. The fact that she keeps trying to convince herself that her ex still loves her just proves it. I’m only 5 chapters in, but I can’t get over how annoying Saskia is. I don’t think her quips are sassy at all. She’s like a teenage girl playacting as an adult who doesn’t know when to STFU and mind her own business.

This was such a conflicting read for me.

I loved Saskia's personality and the way that she was so bluntly truthful and witty in conversation. I really wish more characters were like that in these novels because it was seriously refreshing to get someone who spoke their mind. However, this did not prevent her to somehow not tell Mason everything, such as this important detail that SHE HAS A FUCKING IDENTICAL TWIN??? How do you just not tell someone you have an identical twin? It's as much of a hazard as a quirk and kind of important to tell people. So yeah. The central conflict is around the fact that she has an identical evil twin that impersonates her and steals stuff from Mason, who then assumes its Saskia, which is a fair assumption when you think you see her physically stealing something from you on camera. Then they literally drag that conflict on forever, with Saskia getting kidnapped by the people that her ex-boyfriend owes money to. ALSO whats up with this fucking stockholm syndrome where she's still obsessed and in love with her ex who cheated on her with her twin sister and now is extorting her for money from prison? Like I did not see a single attribute in the book that indicated to me how that guy was worth liking. Maybe she's into the criminal thing and abusive boyfriend who's disloyal? Fucked up and I could not relate. Honestly just exhausting to read since this went on forever and when she gets kidnapped, they spent forever trying to find her through the absolute most useless tactics. Something I did admire however was making the "villain" characters have more layers, such as when the author describes that the evil twin sister is minusculely repentant. Also there's not too much of a spicy makeup scene between Saskia and Mason and the part where Mason fingered Ylonda (evil twin cant spell name) before just was uncomfortable and weird. Was not okay and I honestly fell asleep listening to this book and when that was mentioned I did not want to go back and hear how that went down. So nope. 3 stars.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

I fell in love with Saskia, yep you could call it a girl crush, the first moment she opened that sassy little mouth. I have to say I also enjoyed her BFF Chantelle she is the kind of friend everyone needs in their life.

Saskia life is crazy right now. She put her boyfriend behind bars because she was out for revenge but let’s face it I would have done the same thing in her shoes. Now she is feeling guilty and wants to help him out by paying off his debt. So when her BFF finds her the perfect job that pays very well she jumped at the chance. Most would have and did turn and run the other way when they saw who the employer was but not Saskia she was all in. Seriously, great pay and the chance to look at hot bikers who wouldn’t take that. Well the guys did lose some money the day Saskia showed up with all her sass and saying what she thinks.

Mason had no idea what he was gaining when he hired Saskia. She doesn’t back down, says what she wants and means what she says. Mason didn’t open up to anyone about personal stuff. Most didn’t know much about him but it was so easy for him to open up to Saskia.

I loved these two together the brooding biker and the feisty woman. My heart went out to both of them having to deal with the most god awful family. Saskia was not one to back down and if she needed to say something she said it and wouldn’t hold back. She would not let anyone do the talking for her. I was ready to throttle the whole lot of bikers really give a girl a chance to explain before you go all ape shit. I did enjoy seeing the MC Ladies interactions with Saskia and Chantelle.

I am ready for the next one already the set up for it was great and I am anxiously wait to see what Boston is going to do. It will be a hard one because Boston will have to make a decision and I don’t know what choice I want him to make. Either way it is going to be hard and no matter what it will change everything.

“Because that’s what I do.
I give everything my all.
I’m Saskia.
And I do not back down.
Ever.”

I think we all need to be more like Saskia, this is her story and I love that it revolves around her character rather than the MC. She literally by nothing more than a little luck and coincidence ends up working for Mason the surly yet seductive biker that plays his cards close we go his chest. Her innate happiness is infectious and her no nonsense attitude cannot he argued with. She speaks her mind and doesn’t play games which is very refreshing and addictive. With unfinished business not willing to accept its over can Saskia and Mason move forward or will they forever be anchored by the ghosts of the past?

I laughed and snorted at the attitude of Saskia and her antics. She really does burst in and take over with the MC bowled over by her spark of sheer joy at merely being alive. She appreciates her every breath and I was addicted to her as the rest of the gang was. The story was sweet, humour filled and action packed. A little violence and danger to keep the balance and I think this may be my favourite of the series so far. I’m anxious to get to Boston’s turn as I’m really on the fence on how I want that to work out. I liked the lighter tone in this story it was fun and heart warming yet still had that MC edginess about it, almost like the calm before the storm I think the club still is yet to face the repercussions of their choices from the previous books.

This is a 1 click five star read.

I have been eagerly waiting for the fourth book in this series, it is every bit as good as the other three. The title is perfect too.

Sassy Saskia is a little gem of a character, one that you immediately like, find quirky and fun. Mason is a grumpy bear of a man and just perfect for Saskia..if only they could both see that!

The characters in this series are so real and loveable, with hearts the size of Mt Everest. Mason, like all of his brothers, has the full alpha persona going on but is such a loyal, strong friend. Saskia is as part mouthed, say it as it is woman but she is also extremely caring and giving. She is strong but a little naive as well. The 'evil' characters are definitely bad to the bone! This author sure knows how to paint evil with clarity in her words.

Mason's throwbacks to when he was looking after his mother give an unexpected insight into his character as well as riding the emotional roller coaster along with him. Just when you think nothing else could possibly happen.. bam.. there's a new twist in the plot but all connected.

This is a fast-paced, easy to read story that I could not put down!

Although the title is "Sassy Little Thing" the correct description should have been immature beyond words little thing. Saskia was all over the place for me in this book. I found her to be annoying and not sassy. Her adolescent behavior didn't really add anything to the book so I am kind of wondering why she was written the way she was. She was not endearing and Mason was kind of hard to like. His treatment of her wasn't in any way conducive to me feeling any type of warmth toward either one of them. I am kind of pondering what the purpose was. I guess I needed more backstory about both of them to feel any kind of true empathy for both of their poor behavior. Saskia overstepped the boundaries and never once considered apologizing to anyone for her horrible behavior. Her sister was evil, but I never really got an answer to what perpetuated their sibling rivalry. It would have been nice to have at least been given an inkling after investing time in this story. At least I understood the bad blood between Mason and his sister. Overall an okay read for me. Just expected at least one of the main characters to be somewhat likable at the end of the day.

Saskia is indeed an sassy little thing and I loved her. She’s upfront, doesn’t beat around the bush and goes for what she wants. The one downfall with Saskia is her inability to break free from her ex boyfriend. Feeling an enormous amount of guilt towards him and his current situation, she turns into a walk over whenever she sees him. I hated how she behaved when it came to her ex. She frustrated me no end while I waited for her to come to her senses. Trying to get the money together to pay her ex’s debt leads her to taking a job as a maid for super hot biker Mason.

I adored Mason. Not quite sure what to make of her sassy mouth and attitude he’s never met anyone quite like Sassy before. Trying to keep her at a distance proves harder every day especially when he finds out about her situation.

The chemistry and banter between Saskia and Mason is great and when there’s a misunderstanding between them, the action starts up. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for Boston’s story next.

Saskia is looking for a job and finds one working as a housekeeper for Mason who's part of the Iron Fury MC. When he meets her, Mason's not interested in Saskia, he just wants someone to take care of the house. Saskia was funny as hell and kind and the things that Mason did, didn't bother her. Even the other members of the MC liked her too because she was funny. When she meets the other women, they took a liking to her too. But when Mason's sister tries to get into the house to get some jewels, Saskia stops her and Mason starts seeing her in a different light. That whole scene on the bike was hot as hell and how in the world did the bike not move an inch. But when Saskia's twin sister and her ex try to get money from her, shit hits the fan. It was crazy that Mason didn't let Saskia explain and just believed that she had lied. And the chain of events that follow are pretty insane. But because Saskia is a good person she forgave Mason pretty fast. Saskia finally found the man and the family she always wanted.

I keep reading this author, and I have to say the ratings I give are very up and down, unfortunately. This was one of the better ones. No perfect characters... human characters. This story is about Mason, the quiet, and we heard in earlier books, wealthy Brother. The love interest is Saskia, a new personality for the series. I liked it, and especially the kind, optimistic Saskia. There is a lot of violence and a sexual assault. It kept my interest more than most books I have read lately because the plot is different.

Also loaded in to the group throughout the story is Chantelle, Saskia's BFF who sort of begins a relationship with Boston (the Brother that Maverick has issues with). Also, there is Penelope, who works as a caregiver for Boston's ailing Mom. They will be the subjects of the love triangle in the next story... I am not sure that sounds interesting, though. Nevertheless, I preordered it.

5 Sassy Little Stars on Goodreads

Sassy Little Thing is the fourth book in the Iron Fury MC series and I have eagerly awaiting it.

"I'll be damned if anyone is dimming my shine."

I have a giant girl crush Saskia, I loved her and She doesn’t sugarcoat things. I laughed at the attitude antics she got up too. I loved her heart and confidence, regardless of the obstacle she face, she got herself through it

“Because that’s what I do.
I give everything my all.
I’m Saskia.
And I do not back down.
Ever.”

Mason's throwbacks to when he looked after his mother where an unexpected insight into his past and my heart broke for him. The chemistry and banter between Saskia and Mason is of the charts and really makes this book great.

Sassy Little Thing was sweet, jammed packed full with humour, A little violence and danger. So in all action packed and a great read, highly recommended.

“I’m Saskia. And I do not back down. Ever.”

I love Saskia! She is my favorite heroine from the series so far! I’m pretty sure Chantelle is going to be a close second. I really liked all the girls from the previous books, but Saskia is my fave! She really doesn’t back down. I loved her personality and how feisty she was. Sassy Little Thing is the perfect title for her story. That’s exactly what she is.. a sassy little thing! As for her relationship with Mason, I do feel that it moved pretty fast, but I still really loved them together. He’s so broody and her bubbly personality is exactly what he needed to break down his hard exterior. They were “cute” and had me cracking up. Honestly, once I started, I really couldn’t stop. I’m loving this series, and I CAN’T WAIT for June 2018!! I’m am dying to get my hands on Boston, Penny, and Chantelle's story! I’m looking forward to one wild ride!

Book synopsis: IRON FURY MC, BOOK 4

Mason and Saskia

Saskia is a free spirit fun loving sassy girl. I liked her until you find out she feels guilty for sending her boyfriend to jail for drugs because she found him sleeping with her sister. She feels guilty but still has feelings for him and he plays it up with the you owe me, so she plans on paying his debt off.

Mason is a member of the Iron Fury MC. He needs a maid and hires Saskia. Instant connection. He can help but be drawn to her. He has family issues also to deal with.

Same thing in this book as the previous books, this series has a repetitive storyline. Intense connection, H sleeps with someone else after meeting h, some sort of betrayal is perceived to happen, the H doesn't listen to the h at all, will not hear anything she has to say, the h gets taken and beaten then hospitalized before H can save h.
