Iris is a nurse practitioner and Alex is a plastic surgeon. Together they inherit the low income clinic that Iris has been running. Her mentor and the clinic owner was Alex's uncle. The building sits on a prime piece of gulf of mexico facing land. Alex is all for developing the land. Iris is hell bent on keeping the clinic open. The deeper they dig the more they find the clinic is in trouble financially. Throw in a secret buyer who won't allow the middle man to reveal their identity and you have all kinds of chaos. The book covers the trials and adventures Iris and Alex face with the clinic and each other.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are well developed and relatable. I recommend this book for if you are looking for a sweet romance with a little suspense thrown in.

This story grabbed me right off with it's unusual set of circumstances. Extremely busy Nurse Practitioner, Iris Jones and very successful Plastic Surgeon and confirmed bachelor, Alex Stockton inherit a property and the poor clinic Iris is determined to keep open. However, Alex is too busy with his highly successful practice to be bothered with a clinic that is not making money. He wants it sold and he wants out of the co-ownership with Iris. Needless to say, there are many struggles and disagreements about how they both should proceed. This story is filled with strong emotions, steamy hot romance, and lots and lots of intrigue. It was a very enjoyable story to read. I give it Five Stars!!!!!

Slow start but zoomed into heat, passion, mystery and love
My first read of this author. Iris was a strong-willed and a woman pretty comfortable with who and what she is. Upon meeting and accepting the attraction between them, she found her self-assurance flag, amidst the danger brought to her by Dr. Jeff Pike. Alex, who found himself alternately infuriated with her stubbornness and enchanted with her meanness, is a successful plastic surgeon. Their relationship thickens as the mystery of Cathy Forest builds. Then, thrown into the mix is a bit of ghostly haunting. The book went in a few directions, but was basically a nice love story with a great HEA.

What happens when two opposites inherit a medical clinic together. Iris is a nurse practitioner whose only concern is her patients and a confirmed bachelor plastic surgeon. He's a control freak with ideas of his own, that is until he got involved with Iris. A well written book with likeable characters and an entertaining plot. I enjoyed this book and know you will.
