A fairly quick read with little to no angst and some fairly steamy moments. The book does suffer from a few spelling and grammar errors but it's nothing too disturbing. There is also a slight case of insta-love in the beginning which translated into a lack of chemistry but the author managed to resolve this by the end of the book.

*The story ends at the 75% mark. The remaining 25% are summaries and excerpts of other books by the author.

Quick and light read, 3.5 score. Could do with better spelling, though some of the mistakes are funny: ‘ she cuddled up to Avery, wrapping her arms around her lover’s waste’ .

I think this is an easy read book where the two main characters got together quite fast. all of the lesfic boss/employee books that i read so far, they normally refrain themselves from breaking the company rule. But this one, Avery just came onto Nadia. They were being discreet but Avery didnt seem to afraid that someone might found them out at all. The conflict between the mains was next to nothing. Very super tiny bit or none, i think. I couldn’t recall at all. Sex scenes quite steamy as well.

Well, i enjoyed the book. Though i wouldnt say i like it.

Not my cup of tea...

I didn't like this one at all. Avery was cold and unbelievable and the storyline was lacking depth. Sorry. I usually enjoy a quick fun unengaged read from this author but this one just wasn't that for me.

A love story wrapped in self discovery

A very enjoyable, low angst, HEA book. Sometimes the universe gives you exactly what you need when you need it. Throughout both MCs have to challenge their ideas of success and happiness, ultimately leading them to question aspects of their identity. Is the corporate ladder the ultimate in self fulfillment?

Plot fell flat; a bit dull, to be honest. Characters do evolve a lot throughout the story, but author didn't focus much on character introspection.

Conflict gets resolved too quickly and easily. Lacks deep emotional conflict/tension.

I really did not like this book. This book was not well written and even the more erotic parts were not well written, in my opinion. This book seemed to drag and drag and I just couldn't finish reading it. I would not recommend this book to anyone, as it was probably the worst book I've read in a while. There was nothing that kept me reading this book and wanting to know what happens next. I found I didn't care what happens next in this book.

This book is about Avery Wool, the new CEO of Color Wheel after a buyout by her company. Nadia is a manager at Color Wheel and starts to have an affair with Avery almost immediately. Their affair starts out as just fun, but evolves into something more. I could not connect with either character at all and the book did not seem to have characters developing enough for me. I only read this book since it was on Kindle Unlimited, but it was a waste of my time and I don't think it is worth many people's time.

I just finished it and I regret that because this was such a good book, highly recommend it if you are like me and want to see the characters a. flirting from early on in the story, b. you want them to get together early on, but you still want there to be some character development.
Oh, and some of those hot (sex) scenes, were indeed hot scenes. The characters were relatable; always being flirty with each other. Give this book a try! You'll not be sorry and maybe you will start to like more of Dane's other stuff before you know it.

Great characters

As always, Nicolette Dane's characters are well developed and have astounding chemistry. The storyline, while predictable in spots, was refreshing in that I didn't anticipate where it ended up. However, I did feel like some of the dialog, particularly when the leading ladies were discussing their relationship, was a bit stilted and unnatural, especially in contrast to their normal witty banter.

I received an ARC copy of this book.

Cute.

It’s cute. There’s no crazy drama or really horrible peak that pulls them apart and back together. They never question anything with each other- it’s a cute romance. More than a novel it’s like it could happen any day to any one just as it did. It’s a lot of reality....on a lighter note, there was something they discussed and I’m glad Avery made it happen for Nadia by the end or I’d be disappointed. Just read and you’ll see what I mean.

Truly enjoyable

Out of the wreckage of two peoples jobs came a true love affair. Both main characters were very well developed and it was abundantly evidenced that an inner struggle was affecting both women. The storyline stayed true throughout the book. Some sex scenes were very well written and enjoyable. Great book, even the second time around.

Great Dane Strikes Again!!

What starts as a business takeover ends with the slightly arrogant and ever so confident CEO of Scheffler & Vonn realising that their is more to being in control. Heartwarming and the story runs to a perfect parallel keeping the writer entertained, especially with the hot sexy scenes

Good read

I really enjoy reading this book. It was my first time with this author. Nicolette writes good love scenes and it just takes you on a journey I'm glad Nadia and Avery work things out and took a chance on love.

Very nice love story

Very good development of the relationship between the two main characters, Avery an Nadia, They learn that their love for each other is more important than their desire to succeed in the corporate world.

This book had almost no plot and a lot of sentence fragments. The characters were barely believable and an unlikely pair given the (barely) plot. There was a lot of telling, not showing in the writing style.

This book has a lot of sexy time.

A small but very successful company purchased, woe be the small company.

A corporate manager is sent to take over a recent purchase and things get worst for the employees before they sometimes get better for some. But that is business!? Nothing personal, yet! Enjoy!

Business with pleasure?

Nadia finds working for Avery can be very exciting....stimulating....and hot! Not expecting her new boss to be so tempting, Nadia finds that you can mix pleasure with business! Another good read by Nico!

Solid Book

This was a solid book from Nicolette Dane, but I had a little trouble being convinced of the love between Nadia and Avery until closer to the end of the book.

Surprising

I liked this book a lot for a sexy romance novel. It was still a nice pace and not obviously trashy. Thanks!

What the hell?

This has got to be the most boring piece of crap I've ever read. Nothing happened, there was no drama, no tension, it was all just so damn boring.

Great story

I really liked the way the story flowed. Life then sex then life then sex. Wonderful hoe both women grew with the flow.

Lesson: do not pick a book by its cover. I'll totally admit to choosing this book because she was super hot and caught my eye. The inside was... not nearly as compelling. Could not get past about 75 pages before I bailed.

ENTERTAINING 🌠👅
Very much a page turner. Wow glad read it. Although I wish I would have waited until after work. Instead of starting at my bed time, I stayed up all night 🌙. Because I was so enraptured.
