Ruby Flame has dark secrets tucked away. Her former love interest who taunted and abused her is now ashes from being put in the incinerator by Ruby's own hands. Although he is dead, he still seems to talk to her in her head every moment he can to further torment her. Ruby can't seem to get away from the belief that she deserved the abuse and again seeks to look for someone to fill the dark need she has tucked away. Enter Nathan Holloway. The owner of a Gentleman's club with dark secrets of his own. Ruby is attracted to Nathan and vice versa. The Dom and submissive role is again the attraction that Ruby finds with him. Until things turn ugly and dark and more than Ruby bargained for.
This story is a true dark erotic/horror. Although one half of the author team is new to the writing world, she brought this story with wicked delight. Both authors have come up with an amazing dark read. Looking forward to the next chapter in Ruby's life in book two.

The beginning of Smoldering Ruby started off by describing a somewhat chilling scenario of master and submissive. I was instantly intrigued and wanted to know more about Ruby, her captor, and how their whole relationship came to be. Her predicament seemed both a pleasure to her and a curse, and this kept me turning the pages as I was eager to understand.
Getting to know Nathan better was a double-edged sword. It was both interesting and frightening to see inside his mind. Learning about the girls and their "training" was startling. Ruby didn't strike me as the type to give up, so I was curious to know how things were going to play out.
Vera's story was shocking and was a great addition to the book, especially her first encounter with Nathan. She was a character that I wouldn't mind reading more about.
The things that Ruby witnessed and was made to endure were dark and intense. And the book just kept getting more twisted and dirty as it went along. At times, it was a bit filthy for my usual reading tastes, but I found that because of the storyline itself I was always curious about what would happen next.
The final chapters really brought the action to a head and had me reading faster and faster to get to the conclusion. The ending left me shocked once again, and yet I found it to be perfect with what I knew about Ruby.
These authors did a fantastic job of working together to create a dark and sordid story. I think fans of this genre will certainly be entertained and enjoy this book.

Most would put this novel in the genre of Erotica, but for me I put it in the "what the what", "what did I just read" category.
This twisted tale with its unforgettable characters is so worth the blood-shot eyes from staying up all night trying to read it and so worth the small papercut from turning the paperback pages too fast. So very worth it. No regrets.
Happily, there is a Part two to this reading journey. I look forward to it because Ruby is my girl.

What can I say about this book?! It was nothing like I thought it would be!
It's dark, twisted, unpredictable and extremely sexy!!!
This is not my normal genre to read by any means. I went out of my comfort zone to give it a try. I can honestly say I was not disappointed at all! It had me burning through page after page needing to know more! Each character and their story played off each other in unique and captivating ways!
All in all, Smoldering Ruby was an unexpected delight and I am hoping for a sequel!

This book takes you into a world I really know nothing about. The authors of this book were amazing. They both did a great job writing and keeping you on the edge of your seat. Even though I know nothing about this lifestyle. The authors wrote this book so well I feel like I know a lot now. It is dark, erotic, sexual and dangerous I the BDSM world. I never knew what was going to happen, and it's one of those books that you read all at once. The book revolves around Ruby. At times I really felt sorry for her. She has secrets and loss and really seems to like danger. Nathan is one big issue she has. What will happen? I'm not going to say, get the book to find out. I recommend this book to 18+. Tressa did an amazing job. I find it really hard to believe this is only Bebe's second book. Wow do they have a bright future as authors. What a great book by two amazing authors!!!!

This is an amazing book from two new and obviously talented authors! The story is so intriguing! It is very dark and twisted, so a warning to those who may have triggers or be offended. But if you like things a little dark and twisted, you need to get this book! Erotica with a suspense twist, this is more than it seems. Ruby is such a strong character, I cannot wait to read more of her. There is so much going on, it is so hard to explain without giving away. Ruby finds herself in a place she did not intend to be, yet part of her is happy. She cringes every time he walks in. Yet she secretly begs for him. The things done to her are unimaginable. Yet she wants more.
You will run through all of your emotions in this book and will want more once you reach the end. All we can do is hope there will be another book in this world and soon!! I highly recommend this book.

This new author Bebe Harlow and seasoned author Tressa Rabbit have got together and made a sizzling book. Ruby needs to be needed Nate drugs Ruby and their adventure in sex and pain begins. Ruby is a needy sub and Nate is the Master. Nate cares for Ruby and she cares for him in their own way. This book is full of insights of the mind of a submissive and a dominant. Ruby has secrets and so does Nate both are obsessed with their secrets. I can say that I am looking forward to the next adventure with Ruby and Nate.

This is the first time I have read anything by these authors. Ruby has been kidnapped. She has been locked away and is been trained of sorts to be coming a sub but Ruby being Ruby has other ideas. The man that kidnapped Ruby is Nathan (nate) who owns a club where Ruby went, he wants her badly but does not count on the trouble she gives him. Nate knows all about Ruby what's she's like, what's she's done now he just needs to tame her, will he be able to or will Ruby go to far. Not a bad story.

Definitely burned
