All Hallows Eve is a magical time where things that go bump in the night come out of the dark to find you… So you think you know the story behind the Jack O’Lantern? Would you believe that what you think you know is only a small part of the story? Quinn Carter, an American illustrator on an extended holiday, tumbles into a world of love and betrayal, of myth and fable. She’s about to find out that magic is real, that fairies do exist, and that love and redemption are possible for anyone. A fantastic journey into the fairy mound.

I consumed this story all in one sitting. I simply could not put it down. The characters are so well done. Being of Irish descent myself I've always had a love for the fae. This story does not disappoint in terms of intrigue. The world is so beautifully described I felt transported there myself. The chemistry between the main characters is undeniable and sizzles in all the right ways. My only complaint was that it ended so soon. I sincerely hope this is the beginning of a series. I'd love to spend several more weeks in Quinn's world. If you love fantasy you will love this book.

I always love trying out new authors, and this story seemed to draw me in. I was not at all disappointed when I began turning the pages. What a way with words this author has. I was transported to another place and found myself immersed in the world she created. I can't wait to read more by this author.

So you think you know the story behind the Jack O’Lantern? Would you believe that what you think you know is only a small part of the story? This is a story about love and betrayal, about life and death, about fairies and brownies, and worlds that live and breath on their own. This is a story about magic and redemption and the promise of a new tomorrow if you only believe.

Sit back and allow yourself to be transported to a new world crated by Timber Philips. This is the first book I’ve read by her but it definitely won’t be the last.
