This was an okay read...but I got a major problem with some of the plot choices.

Mainly-the one thing I hate is when writers use rape as a point to move the story along, and get the h to 'forgive' the H or to simply give him a reason to save her.



Emma storms off after thinking that Reece has been cheating on her- only to get cornered by a group of guys on her way home who want to rape her- enter Bolt to the rescue~~ *Cue eye roll*

I guess I don't like it when authors use violence and sexual assault as a 'scared straight' kind of thing, but then don't even hint at any emotional issues or fear after the fact. Emma wakes up the next morning not even caring that she was attacked, and the assault is never mentioned again.

It starts to get hot and heavy in part 2 of Bolt. Reece is working his way into Emma's heart and she is starting to give in more. Finally one night, it gets too much and they finally accept the chemistry between each other. However, Emma knows Reece is hiding something and a threat sends Reece into protection mode for Emma's safety. His past is catching up to him and once Emma finds out, she is unsure of what she should do. This is where the true action begins for this saga. I am so excited to continue following Emma and Reece!

The first book great. This one was absolutely fantastic! If each book in this series gets better than the last I may end this series in a heart attack. There eletrcifyingly hot relationship is off the charts. I cant stop reading this series so book three here I come!

Struck by Lightning...

Offer me a story that is sci-fi, has a Super Hero dressed in leather and a mask and is 100 Shades of Hot, and I am jumping on that train in a heartbeat.

Reece Richards is much more than the head of one of the most cutting edge hotels in L.A. He sheds his 3-piece suit for a super hero ensemble when low life criminals call. Up to this point he has had no choice but to accept this life of isolation with no hope of ever having a chance to find someone to care for or fall in love with. That is until Emmalina Crist.

Emma works at Reece's hotel and is smart, savvy and has a spark plug personality. Reece and Emma share an electrifying night of passion that changes both their lives and rethinking everything they have ever believed in. When together they make a very powerful couple and a force to be reckoned with. Angel Payne has made this closet dweeb full of anticipation to find out more about Emma and Reece's future adventures together.

My expectations for this book were HIGH, and I was NOT disappointed! Angel Payne absolutely slayed
this book and I cannot wait for the next installment! Reece Richards is a rich playboy by birth, turned Superhero by a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or was it? Bolt had me turning pages as quickly as possible!

Emmalina (Emma) Crist is running from a life of privilege so she moves to LA and takes a job as a Reservations Manager at Hotel Brocade. Reece just happens to own these hotels. Reece and Emma meet while working and it is like SPARKS, INSTALUST, WOWZAAA, KABAMMMM! (Seriously it is!) I have absolutely enjoyed following Reece and Emma's journey together and cannot wait for the next installment.

Bolt comes from The Misadventures With A Super Hero book from the Misadventures Series. I had read the Misadventures version first and was hooked! Angel Payne is rocking the Bolt Saga and I need more!

I had already read Misadventures with a Superhero so I was pretty sure I was going to love this one too. Emma works at one of the hottest downtown LA Hotels which happens to be owned by Richards Resorts and managed by Reece Richards. There is chemistry between these 2 from the very beginning. Reece was kidnapped about a year before and used as a science experiment for the Consortium. His body now has electricity running through it that he can harness and use. He is hoping in his spree to stop criminals that someone will kill him. He has a playboy reputation but no one seems to realize he has changed. Emma knows that deep down Reece is a good man but can she make him believe it. The beginning of the book is from Misadventures with a Superhero. Angel took the original book and gave it more details and a bigger storyline.

If you love hot sexy superheros then this is the book for you. I loved it and am looking forward to the rest of the story. I highly recommend this fun read.

Reece and Emma what can I say. There is just something about this book. It is awesome on so many levels. I am a super nerd girl so this satisfies all the nerd girl in me. But the mix of the super hot sexiness and the super heroines is beyond epic. All the characters are well written from our boltilous stud, the finding herself lead female, the bantering coworkers, even the tourists. I have been able to read this book 5 times and I catch new stuff every time I am able to pick it up. I can’t get enough and I am on pins and needles for the next part of the saga. Will leave you with a fav line that helps set the tone for how Reece thinks:
The angel I trusted to take me to heaven has instead handed me a pass to hell.
Buckle up buttercup because you’re about to get bolted.

In this story, Reece continues to pursue Emma and Emma really isn't resisting much. When there is a sudden influx of customers at the hotel one night, Emma and Reece end up working together to get the rooms ready for the customers. While they are working together, Reece pursues Emma to the point that they end up getting hot and heavy in one of the rooms.

Emma finally stops resisting the chemistry that the 2 of them have but she also knows that Reece is hiding something from her. When Reece's past comes back to haunt him, he needs to make sure that he protects Emma while trying to hold the people that are responsible for his "superhero powers" accountable.

Once Emma finds out about Reece's secret, she is not sure what she should do but love brings her and Reece together.

Reece is chasing Emma and she is not exactly running. The fire between these two is electrifying. They have to work together to handle the flood of people in town to see the amazing Bolt in action. working side by side with the crew and trying not to undo all that hard work becomes impossible. When an old enemy begins to edge their way into Emma life, Reece knows he has to protect her any way he can. Emma Knows Reece is hiding something but when she finally finds out what it is will run from him or stand with him and the new love they are building?

Part 2 pulled more on my heartstrings than part 1. Emma learns more about Reece than she ever dreamed she would and Reece thinks walking away will protect her. But when they are together they are unstoppable. Emma shows off just how bad ass she is and Reece shows a little bit of a softer, more vulnerable side. I love how these characters compliment each other and I can't get enough of the build up!!! Something big is in the works, I can feel it!!! Bring on part 3!!!!!

I am a huge fan of Angel Payne's. I did come late to the party and did not get the opportunity to meet Reece & Emma in their first incarnation in Misadventures of a Super Hero.

I'm sad that I didn't get to know them sooner. This story was hot and I couldn't put it down.

Nothing like a great Angel Payne story to keep me from sleeping and living on coffee to get through my real life!

Thank you for building a world I can hide to and relax Angel!

I was a little worried that I wouldn't like this book because I am not really into SuperHeros. But I loved this book!! Angel Payne really knows how to write a book!! Reese(BOLT) and Emma are great together. I loved how Bolt was trying to rid the town of lowlife scum!! Emma works for Reese in a swanky Hotel and they end up falling in love!! I can't wait to read the next installment of this series!!

The electricity between Reece and Emma get even more electric in Part 2 and more of the plot get revealed. Part 2 picks up right where Part 1 left off and has a little bit more action and more steamy scenes! It was thoroughly exciting reading these two characters learn more about each other and fall in love!

Bolt Saga 2

As the story continues we find Reece and Emma trying to figure things out in their relationship as well as with Reece’s powers. A few more people now know about Bolt’s real identity!! I love the changes Angel has made to the original story that has brought us this new and improved story of Bolt!! Well done Angel Payne!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bolt Saga: Part Two by Angel Payne was a great read. I absolutely love reading Reece and Emma’s story. Reece’s identity is threatened when someone from his past shows up. This could ruin everything for him and Emma. It all comes to a head when he has to let Emma know about his secrets. I absolutely love their story and can’t wait to read more.

This book just kept the amazing story alive and you fall more in love with the characters throughout this book. WHether its a secondary or primary character. But Reece and Emma's love are heating up but can they get past the trouble that comes out of nowhere? Emma is one of my favorite characters because she is badass!

The way Reece wants to protect Emmalina and not show his truth warms your heart. Your feel his pain and installation to be able to reveal his true self. When he does, you feel all the emotion. He and Emmalina are made for each other. I do want to know more about how he came to be this way though.
