The never-ending battle from the start till the end, at first I wonder how? But yes it's happen. Crazy indeed, but tbh I understand why this novel is the most loved work by author after Douluo Dalu series. Read this novel to be prepared for the animation version to be released, I'm glad I read this novel. There's many twist and there, but not that shocking but more feelings involved, just too much! In fact, I pity the hero, yes to be the greatest he endure painful road but still I felt Haochen responsibility is too heavy to bear. The interesting is, every antagonist is not that true evil... I mean at the end of the day you couldn't hate them too much as this time the writer show's every evilness also hve the reason. And yeahhhh this is the most team I loved, they truly like a family that I didn't felt bother at all when female member hug Haochen, even as Cai'er is nonsense to felt jealous, how close they are, is 100% better. To be fair, versus 7 shrek monster (for any series) there's still hve a gap to their mutual feeling as 'family' but not this book! Fantastic!

Decent story, poor writing

It felt like a bad Wuxia movie with the characters moving their mouths and English words coming out unrelated to the movement. The amounts of magic, complicated hierarchy, inner power levels were convoluted and overused. The writing was fit for a 6 year old child and I was getting bored with mantle of this, cloak of that, ray of magical something else.

Well done

Awesome story. Nicely done translation, no excessive wordiness, smooth transitions, and straight to the point the author was trying to get across. I really enjoyed this story. It did seem rather short, but at least I know there will be more to follow. Thanks guys. You keep publishing and I will keep buying.
