Two hearts, two continents, one all consuming passion.

Desperate to kickstart her fledgling career and her love life, Victoria accepts a new job at the opposite end of the country, but soon realises she's made a massive mistake. When Mel, her fun-loving friend, offers her a way out she jumps at the chance and embarks on a completely new and exciting adventure - one which leads her halfway around the world in a search for the love she so desperately needs.

Can Victoria finally uncover where she truly belongs or will her complicated past and the secret she carries destroy her chance of finding lasting love and true happiness? Or will love prevail and conquer all?

Set in the mid-1990s, this deliciously tantalising love story is guaranteed to have you both cheering and weeping as it sweeps you up from the beautiful backdrop of the English countryside and across the world to New Zealand via London, the Greek Islands, Istanbul and Hong Kong.

The first in the 'Victoria In Love' series, this stunning fiction debut from Isabella Wiles promises to keep you guessing right up until the very last page.

Described as a modern-day Sidney Sheldon or Judith Krantz, Isabella writes epic novels. Stories that span continents and lifetimes.

Her novels are filled with passion and angst as well as heartbreak and hope, but most importantly, strong relatable characters that leave you uplifted. Her style of writing and story themes appeal to readers of Taylor Jenkins Reid, Jojo Moyes, Jodi Picoult, Nicholas Sparks and Colleen Hoover.

She is a self-confessed tea addict, a massive theatre 'loveie' and after a lifetime of travelling the globe she loves nothing more than curling up on the sofa in her 'Writing Room', lighting the fire and thinking about her next plot twist.

Before becoming a fiction writer she had a successful career in sales and marketing and published two international best-sellers in non-fiction. She lives in north-east England with her husband, their two children and one loony Bassett Hound and two equally unhinged goldfish.

Well written romantic tale. Good characterizations. Here and there within the story great pearls of wisdom were dispensed. Both the main male and female characters seem to almost have a psychic-like ability, as they both have premonitions of things to come. Good Read!

Following Her Heart💘💔

She needs protecting from herself....
Laid back New Zealand resident Chris🐺🍆🌋, finds true love with Vicky💃💔, an English woman who works and roommates with his sister, but the distance between them at times seems insurmountable.

Flipping cars from England to New Zealand gives Chris🐺🍆🌋 just enough money to get by, but he must go back and forth to get the vehicles sold, sometimes spending several months in New Zealand. He lives to travel by backpack through exotic countries. He's a free spirit.

Vicky💃💋💔 is a child of a divorcee, and she tends to pair up with safe, well established men who are about ten years older than her. Ultimately, she is disappointed💔 and bored. Is that all there is?

The book jumps around through time with both characters in the beginning, which is disconcerting and confusing at times. Both of their life stories are interesting but the back and forth through time bothered me. The book is at times an emotional rollercoaster. Vicky💃💔💋 needs to be set free and Chris🐺🍆🌋 needs an anchor⚓.
This fairly long novel📕 is well worth reading for the true romantic!

It took me a bit to get into this book with all the information at the beginning, but I fell in love with Victoria and Christopher’s story. The love between them is something special. Make sure you have a hanky handy because the roller coaster ride will have you in tears at one point or another. Great book all and all. I can’t wait for the next to see where this goes from here. Wonderful romance about the difficulties of trying to maintain a relationship from opposite sides of the earth. Victoria lives in England and Chris is a native of New Zealand. The story is told in alternating POV's which makes understanding the characters much easier. It's interesting to note how two people can see the same event so differently and their reactions set them at odds with each other. My only small criticism involves the amount of detail about places and scenery. Although it's really interesting and paints New Zealand as a truly beautiful country, it added length without advancing the story very much. That being said, I loved the characters, the story, and the romance. Looking forward to reading more about Victoria's life. Highly recommended.
