Truly a phenomenal read!!
I had the privilege of reading Lisa as Shay Bell was writing this book!! He truly had me second guessing myself throughout the novel!!
Fantastic story that flowed well and amazing characters!!
Shay takes us on adventure that keeps us entertained until the very end!!
And what an end it is!!
DID NOT SEE IT COMING!!
I was totally shocked!!
Lisa is an amazing story full of suspense, twists and turns, emotions and love!!!

This is such a captivating book, I couldn't put it down. This story is full of surprises that will keep you guessing and wondering what will happen next. The characters are slowly revealed over the course of the book. The more I got to know them, the more I wanted to learn. I should have anticipated the ended but was completely blown away. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Action, Intrigue and a love that just won’t give up.
‘Alex’s’ life changed forever on a Friday night.
In checking on the well-being of a stripper calling herself ‘Lisa’, and, who has lost the plot and quit work, Alex is dragged into the adventure of a life-time. Lisa asks Alex to run with her, and they do. Only this run doesn’t quite follow the rules of society. Unable to make that final step into a life of crime and continually moving on, they part ways, and on Monday morning, Alex is back at work after an adrenalin filled weekend, not sure where ‘Lisa’ is.
Unable to shake off the Lisa-effect, Alex begins to search for this elusive woman that no-one has heard of. There is frustration at every corner, fake names, no plan, and to be honest, I’m not sure in what direction this book is taking me.
What I will say is, that this book is one hell of a ride, and the surprises kept being thrown at me. Especially the twist at the end, that had me re-evaluating everything I thought I’d just read. I absolutely enjoyed every page of this book that was a gift, with no expectation of a review. 5 Stars!

Chris is definitely not following in the parent’s careers with the comfortable living and decided to move into a little apartment which was affordable with the Mon- Fri job that keeps the weekends free. On a night out with some work friends Chris sort of meets Lisa whilst she is quitting her job as a stripper in the club. After following her outside to make sure she's ok they both give different names. This is where the story gets crazy and Chris seems a real nerdy type, Lisa asks Alex (Chris) to run away with her. Over the next few hours they do some crazy stuff but Alex refuses to continue as it all seems to be going too far and watches her drive away....... but it doesn't end there. The twists and turns keep you gripped throughout this read in suspense, humour, disbelief and it’s not until the very end do you find out the answers and that is where you really see who Lisa and Chris are........ I really enjoyed this read and found my sense humour in some of the scenarios I was laughing out loud at as well as wanting to throttle Alex (Chris)

After heading out with some friends Alex(Chris), meets Lisa when she quits her job and asks Alex to run away with her and head to Cairns where its warmer. They do some crazy stuff and Alex draws the line at Lisa’s last effort and watches her drive away.
Believing that Lisa is the love of their life Alex(Chris) goes to extremes to find her without success.
While in prison Chris is told that they can’t make any phone calls but won’t say why only that is some form of protective custody.
The twist and turns keep you intrigued through the book, and it’s not until the end do you find out the answers that you need, who are Lisa and Chris. Loved this book and can’t wait to read some others by this author.

What an amazing story and loved the narrative way the story unfolded, Alex is obsessed by Lisa a stripper he meets and runs away with, the story is told from his prospective and when she disappears it sends him down a very dark and dangerous path. He finds her again whilst on holiday and gets a kicking for his troubles, he gets threatening calls and letters and even has his parents and girlfriend threatened, but will not give up on his true love his one soul mate, the ending will surprise everyone reading it and was so unexpected, will answer all the questions that spring up during the journey that Alex takes all in the name of Love . well done Shey keep them coming.

Tell me a story!!! This book delivered. As a reader I felt as if I had my own personal narrator giving me glimpses into their life almost like sneaking peaks into someone's diary. Lots of ups, downs, twists and turns made this a very interesting and somewhat intriguing read. Loved the writing style and even chuckled at times where my comfort as a reader was taken into consideration. This one keeps you second guessing yourself right to the end.

Mr. Bell is an awesome writer that leaves you guessing as to how his stories are going to unfold. You never know where the twists and turns are going to take you.

This is an intriguing story. Shay Bell writes in the first person. I was able to follow all the characters and the plot was amazing.
You will be shocked with the spectacular ending.
This is a book that I would definitely recommend to all my fellow readers.

Lisa hooks you from the very beginning and holds your attention until the very end!! What Alex (Chris) is willing to do after spending one day with Lisa shows you the depth of the love and obsession there is...By it soon leads to.trouble with the wrong kind of people. I was completely thrown at the end what a twist that was!!!! A great read!!!

Wow! This book was insanely good! I really don't want to give anything away so my review will be short. Lots of suspense and twists and turns. You may think you know what's going to happen but Shay keeps the curveballs coming all the way to the very last page! I will be reading more from this author and I highly recommend this book!

I really enjoyed the first person perspective. This story drew me along with it. I sympathized greatly with the main characters plight. Loved the whole story. I was shocked and surprised at the end. Lol

I should've known that this would only have met the same twists and turns Shay has written into his other novels. From the prologue, Shay hooks you in, and you connect with the characters - feel their emotions, their turmoil and joy.

Shay Bell did it again. I couldn't put this book down. So many Twists and turns. Lisa kept me captive waiting for more from the very beginning. Shay has a way of writing that keeps you guessing and wanting to know what will happen next.

Ummm....HELLO?!?
Where the hell did that come from?? Fantastic from beginning to end, I loved every word. I could hear the voice in my head as I read and that ending blew me away. Very realistic and cute, but very real romance.

This story is written in a unique way that I found intriguing. Lisa is the elusive "insta-love" of Chris/Alex after a runaway night. Finally Chris/Alex finds Lisa and a whole lot of trouble ensues. The twist at the end had me reeling. Good job, Shay Bell!

Cunning Mr Bell!
I can't stop smiling after reading Lisa. What a twist at the end Shay! It was a really good story that I thoroughly enjoyed. Kept me intrigued right to the end. Oh and did I say there is a twist at the end? You got me Shay! Very very good. Highly recommend.

This was a different type of story then I typically read.
It was interesting. Though I did get confused for a few parts of it.
Lisa and Alex have in interesting story to tell. It's got a bit of everything in this book.

Alex has the adventure of a lifetime with a woman and then once it's over he realizes he still cares for her. He then tries to find her and finds her in a lot of trouble. This is a very interesting story which I have never seen the likes of.

Lost from page 1
When I first started the book I expected to find out what happened and why Alex was in jail. Finally found out at 90%. Then find out on the very last page nothing was what it seamed! Really didn't feel this book had a flow and didn't make much sense to me.

What a fabulous book. Had me on my feet, not knowing what was going to happen next. I couldn't put it down, I was so intrigued and the ending I'm so surprised AND so damn confused haha

4.5 stars I really liked this. Brilliantly woven story of Lisa being told by Chris. A meeting that will set wheels in motion, and not in a good way. Trials of what Chris does as he sits in goal for reasons is a mystery. I laughed with Chris and yah may have been a bit sad as things are strained. The writer has played with names that you'll have to work out who is who. Falling in love is never easy, the fates work in various ways meeting after meetings. Lisa is never far..lol who would have thought a night out at a club could change lives. An Insurance worker, a stripper, bad guys and good guys. A question you'll be asking yourself is who is Lisa? A thoroughly enjoyable story you wont be able to put down.
This is definitely an a adventure and the ending will absoutly blow you away..
