Absolutely love it, brilliant start to a new series, I very much enjoy Leela's books and as always she did not disappoint.
I never give spoilers but I do highly recommend this book to all who love dragon shifter romance. I can't wait for the next.

“Captive to the Dragon” is a great start to “Banished Dragons” a new series. A group of dragon shifters have been banished from their home for a crime they didn't commit. They are trying to find the missing Loni descendents to save their dying species. This particular book focuses on Max who believes Andrea is a Loni descendent as well as his fated mate. Andrea is a school teacher who's mother is dying of cancer. She has no idea that Max considers her his mate or that there are such things as dragon shifters. How will Max tell her he is a dragon shifter? Will Andrea believe him? Can they actually save the dragons? Can Max help Andrea's mother? “Captive to the Dragon” has all the elements of a good story, gorgeous dragon shifter, a beautiful lonely woman, fated mates, magic, intense chemistry, danger, and true love. I absolutely recommend this well-written book.

This is a wonderful, entertaining book to read and I absolutely enjoyed reading it. The story "Captive to the Dragon" is about an exiled dragon shifter (Max) who believes that a young female Teacher (Andrea) is a Loni descendant and his fated mate. What you will find in this story is: drama, intrigue, some suspense, twists & turns, magic, fated mates, danger, student discrimination, disagreements, irrefutable evidence, lust, love, passion and mild erotic scenes. There are bonus stories included in this book which are also well-written and entertaining. The characters in the various stories are well developed and entwine well with each other with regards to the situation they find themselves in and react with fears, doubts, needs and desires. I would recommend this book.

While there were things that I didn't particularly like about this story, overall I did really enjoy it. I found Max an interesting character. He's a dragon shifter but naive in the ways of human interaction and I can see that this could grate on some readers. Also, while he's willing to do whatever he needs to in order to get the girl, in some ways he seemed very submissive. I found overlooking those things easy though because I got involved in the story and while I couldn't decide whether Max was creepy or sweet I did overall enjoy the read. Interesting enough story with enough characters we've already been introduced to from which to build a decent series.

An unexpected find

Usually books of this type seem to revolve around the sexual encounters. I was happy to have that different in this book. Although a short story, this book had the 'stranger in a strange land' foremost and the sex although well described, was at the end in a natural progression.

Andrea and Max

He’s a dragon-shifter trying to fulfill his redemption mission to find the lost descendants of his people. She’s just trying to help her mother is her last days and help her students acquire the merits they’ve earned. The story is a bit frustrating when you see Max trying so hard to get Andrea to believe him. Very satisfying ending. Worth the 1-click!

Perfect for lovers of paranormal reading

Max and his brother's are banished form their home, Andrea living A hectic life between looking after her sick mum her teaching job and her lecherous boss. The minute Max saw her he knew she was the one. A fun book and with lots of extra stories its very entertaining as well as being g Hot. I recommend this book

The long way home

It has taken the dragon's years tofind away home and now with the lenie women there strength combined thy now can be taken from earth back to there homelands. This story is that of hope and belief of a true happy ending for all concerned, thank you for your hard work and may good fortune always smile on you
