This wasn't my favorite misscanteloupe. I really prefer her more humorous fanfic and there wasn't really any humor here. I'm also not a fan of therapists falling in love with their patients; it creeps me out, personally. Here, in particular, Emma is a very, very bad therapist who flirts with her patient, advises her patient to leave her husband, and has sexy talk with her while Regina touches herself...as a form of therapy. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that's not what an actual sex therapist does.

Nice bit of Swan Queen AU fluff. Regina's marriage (with Robin) is crumbling and she can't even bring herself to have sex with him anymore so she goes and sees a sex therapist (Emma) to get to the bottom of this. And they do :-)

Enjoyable story. I devoured a lot of swan queen fan fic back then so most of it reads like new.

Oh, misscanteloupe, I did not enjoy this one at all which feels of course horrible as I really liked your other stories. Dry and airless this one was obvious from the beginning about where it was headed but the execution was not up to your previous standards. I want to say this story felt too contrived but that is not a good word choice for a Swan Queen fanfiction where the author has the characters framed within the strictures of Swan Queen. Regina, Emma and Henry are all set in their places like chess pieces.

Dr. Emma Swan, the sex therapist is entirely unethical and not in a fun way. None of this story was really any fun which is a surprise as Miss Canteloupe in the past has excelled in fun. For a tale of discovery this didn't have any joy. Maybe it's me. I didn't like this one and don't recommend it.

Short, sweet fanfic here of a taboo coupling I love: therapist and patient. For some reason, I read it at 5 in the morning, needing a romance fix.

I'd hesitate to rate this as harshly as, say, a published piece because this is clearly for the Swan Queen fandom and I appreciate that as an outsider who loves their stories. Their sexiest scene on the couch involving was amazing. More of that in lesfic, please!

The ending was on the sweet side, but that's fanfic. We love our characters fluffy sometimes!

Fair warning before you read this; suspend your disbelief!

Because in this short fic Emma is a sex therapist and not a very professional one. But this is fanfiction after all so don't expect a traditional doctor - patient relationship. Regina is married to Robin* and their marriage has been getting rockier lately to the point that Regina can no longer stomach his touch. Perhaps some much needed couch therapy is just what she needs to sort out some major issues in her life. This is a short and sexy read about the misuse of various pieces of office furniture.

*Robin plays a minor role in this fic and I'm glad to see that he's not painted as some evil villain but as someone who simply wants to fix his marriage.

I am pleasantly surprised I was expecting a bunch of smut for such a short book. But what I got was a something that went in depth about how Regina struggles with coping with her past and has to overcome it.
