He’s coming for his dream baby. And he wants me to be the mother.
I never asked to be a mom, but when my cousin made me swear to watch over her son after she passed away, I agreed to adopt him.
But I had no clue his father was still around.
Connor is gorgeous, but he’s such an a**hole. He’s the sort of cocky jerk my cousin would go for, and not at all my type.
He wants his baby back, but I made a promise. I don’t care how charming and handsome Connor is, he's still a total stranger. I’m not letting him take my boy without a fight.
But Connor wants more than just his baby. He wants my body, and he’s not shy about it.
He says we're going to have a big family. He says he’s going to get me pregnant over, and over, and over.
It scares me how appealing that is. I want to feel his hard body against mine, lips crushed against my lips, hips pushed tight against my hips.
Connor says he’s getting his baby back plus a little extra.
It’s crazy, but I just might give it to him.
His Dream Baby is an over-the-top bad boy romance with tons of steamy scenes, some graphic violence, and bad language. It’s only recommended for readers 18+.
His Dream Baby is a STANDALONE, full-length novel. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA. Includes bonus content!
The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: ❤️💙💜 Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙 World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎 Character development: 👤👤👤👤
The setting: California; Philadelphia, PA
The Hero(s):Connor Hunt - his ex girlfriend Harper had a severe drug problem but when they found out she was pregnant Connor was able to keep her clean through the pregnancy. She reverted soon after the birth and Connor was basically a single father to a newborn. She returned and stole the baby when he was six months old and Connor has been searching for Ryan ever since.
The heroine:Leah Terry - was asked by her dying cousin Harper to adopt her baby, Ryan and keep him away from Harper’s family. Harper’s family was the Gallo crime family, the biggest mafia family in Philadelphia. Leah adopts the quiet toddler who can but doesn’t talk, though she has no clue what Ryan has been through over the last two years.
The Love Story: When Connor finally finds his son, Leah has already bonded with him and become his mother. Connor gets to know Leah and tells her he doesn’t want to take Ryan away from her. Their attraction builds from there.
There were a few holes in the story but it was otherwise very good. The Gallo family including Harper’s brothers and abusive mob boss father want Ryan. If I were Connor and Leah I would move back to California after the first threat. I mean even if the Gallo’s followed them to California, if they kidnapped Ryan they would be crossing state lines so the FBI would be involved on getting him returned.
However, Connor moves to Philadelphia and is determined to stand up to the Mob. Frankly, if the mob wanted my kid and the most likely had a bunch of cops in their pocket, I would want to be as far away as possible from their home turf.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
If I could have given less stars and still left a review I would have. This book is horrible. I could not read until the end. Seriously the hero gets beat up by a short fat guy and doesn't fight back but a very short time later he tosses 2 mobsters out of the heroines apartment after beating them up? Poorly written, poorly edited, thin plot with 1 dimensional characters. I recommend staying as far away from this book as possible. Glad I borrowed with KU I would have been p!$$3@ if I had paid for it. Waste of time.
So I love B B and her books. But for some reason this one was off for me. Right from the start i couldn't get into it. There was no chemistry with any of the characters and the story was a little weak. I was disappointed.
Another amazing story BB, OMG I was completely hooked from the start and could not put it down. Connor and Leah's story brought me on a roller coaster of emotions through drug addiction and child been taken. They have steamy hot chemistry that off the charts, theres plenty of twists and turns. Cant say to much with out telling the whole story. ONE-CLICK NOW find out how Connor and Leah's story ends. A must read, I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader copy
Connor Hunt goes after what he wants no matter the consequences. He especially wants Leah Terry. Leah isn't easy to impress but that doesn't stop Connor from trying . Will both Leah and Connor get what they want? Your answers await you in His Dream Baby.
Hamel has done it again. The story and characters are rich, bold, unique, complicated, and heartfelt. I can wait for this autjo's next offering.
I finished it is probably the only good thing... first the hero of this story is def no alpha type man!! It just seemed so stupid from the beginning... his baby gets kidnapped by his doped out baby momma... then he finds the kid which is were the stupidity comes in... it’s his kid how the hell does he let the heroine control everything.... she is stupid too how does she feel like she control anything he’s the kids father... every time she said I’ll call the cops I just kept yelling do it!! Second this whole mafia situation why the hell did they stay in philly so long when they kept coming after them?!?! They own the city LEAVE... omg!! Ok now my favorite book bc I was waiting a miracle baby!

I enjoyed Conner & Leah's story. It was so intriguing...couldn't put it down. What a roller coaster of a ride. I'm voluntarily leaving a review for a copy of the book.
An excellent storyline that portrays the length Connor goes to, to locate his missing son, Ryan. Ryan is also the grandson of a Mafia boss and the Gallo crime family is adamant that Ryan should be brought up by them. Leah is getting on with her life and the last thing she expects is to suddenly become a mother, but that is exactly what Harper asks of her. As Leah starts to bond with Ryan, Connor turns up and Leah is afraid he has just come to take Ryan away from her. There are some interesting twists and turns in the story that makes it quite intriguing and it is certainly a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.
It was 3-years ago when Connor first met Harper, but he ignored the warning signs; she was beautiful, outgoing, funny, but she had a drug problem. This only gets worse as their relationship progresses, but when Harper gives birth to Ryan, suddenly this little boy becomes the most important person in Connor’s life. Then Harper has a relapse and disappears. For 4-months Ryan is Connor’s priority, until one night he wakes and finds the boy gone; Harper has taken Ryan, and no amount of searching reveals where they are. 2-years pass and then Connor sees an obituary; Harper is dead, but Ryan is alive, living in Philadelphia. Now Connor is going to get Ryan back after years of searching for him. Leah and Harper were close when they were younger, but their families never really got along; nevertheless, it is Harper’s last wish that Leah adopt Ryan to keep him away from her family. Ryan is a quiet boy and doesn’t want to talk; Leah has no idea what Ryan has been through or even who his father is. Leah is not ready to be a mother, especially not to a shy, quiet, strange little boy that she barely knows. The Gallo crime family is the most powerful Mafia in Philadelphia; they own the town although most people didn’t know it. They also knew about Ryan and want to raise him in the Family; Harper didn’t want that for him and neither does Leah. Harper’s family is notoriously difficult and dangerous; all Harper’s problems had started because of her family, even if she had tried to run away from her demons. Ryan consumes Leah’s life, but eventually she gets him into a routine, until Connor suddenly turns up at her door unexpectedly. At first Leah refuses to talk to him, but after looking for Ryan for 2-years, Connor is not giving up or walking away; he has to show Leah that he is Ryan’s real father and that he is worthy of getting him back. Leah is convinced Connor has come to take Ryan away from her; she is just starting to bond with him and having his father come into the picture is going to complicate matters immensely, particularly since there is also the added attraction between them. But Connor isn’t the one Leah should be afraid of. Mario Gallo makes it plain that he wants his grandson and there will be consequences if he is not handed over. All Gallo’s scare tactics and innuendoes are to no avail, because Connor will never let them have his son. When there is an impasse, there is only one way out. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.
Leah promised her cousin harper, who was a drug addict and part of the Mafia family, that she would look after her little son, Ryan, when she died. Leah had no trouble making such a promise as Ryan was adorable and she was going to make sure that he had a great start in life away from crime and drugs. So she adopts him and things are going well when his father, Connor, appears to claim him and her! Connor has been devastated when Harper took Ryan from him in the middle of the night two years ago and he has been searching for them for them ever since. his first lead is when he sees the notice of her death in the paper. He gets straight on a plane to Ryan to bring him back home but he hadn't figured Leah in the equation! Now Connor is absolutely gorgeous and Leah is stunning as far as Connor is concerned so he is more than happy to have her come with Ryan as the chemistry between them is off the charts and their passion for each other is like none they'd encountered before plus the witty repartee/banter and flirting make them a wonderfully hot couple that I so wanted to have their own HEA. To find out if they get one you need to get a copy of the book and find out if Harper's Mafia family come after them as the Boss wants Ryan! B.B. Hamel is a fantastic author who creates such terrific storylines and amazing characters. Connor is such a wonderful dad and I felt so sorry for him missing out on two years of his son's short life - absolutely heartbreaking. But the way he consistently shows his steadfast love and devotion to that child is heartwarming and his passion for Leah is when you need to switch the fans on to MAX cool! Whew she really knows how to raise the temperatures in the passionate and lust filled scenes that she composes for us to enjoy. I received a free reader's copy of the book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion. However, as I loved the book so much and wanted to support the author, I have purchased my own copy and fully intend to read the bonus stories over the weekend. Looking forward, as always, to her next story!

His Wonder Baby: Addie and Will 4 Stars I purchased a copy of the dark and steamy novel His Wonder Baby: A Miracle Baby Romance: Addie and Will in the Miracle Baby Boxset by B.B. Separated by insecurity, lack of communication, and Will’s being recruited to the HKL in Russia, they are reunited when the injured Will returns home. Single mother Addie is both furious and strongly attracted to the man who used to be her best friend, her daughter’s father. 18+ recommended. A dark story with extended gymnastic, intimate scenes.
This is a wonderful story about Connor and how he deals with his girlfriend, Harper and their baby, Ryan. Connor is a special man who takes responsibility and care for those who need it no matter the situation. Harper and Connor dated and he found out she has an issue with drugs and he sticks with her and even gets her to rehab but it never works. One day they find out she is pregnant and Connor does everything he can to keep her clean during the pregnancy and once Ryan is born she disappears for months! Connor raises his son until one night Harper comes back in the middle of the night and takes Ryan and disappears a second time for two years. Connor does everything he can to find her and after two years he finds out she has passed away. Connor knows what darkness Harper grew up with her Mafia family and starts there to find his son. After finding Leah, Harper’s cousin and his son does he find a way into their lives. I enjoyed how Leah and Connor develop a relationship for all the right reasons, love and care for Ryan! He has some issues with Leah and Harper’s family along the way. As strong as the Gallo family is will they be able to take Ryan and raise him the way they want or will Connor get his son from Leah or will she give him up? I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.
Emotive, creative and inspiring – I could not put it down! It is amazing, how BB Hamel can create marvelously believable and virtuous characterizations who were raised within the clutches of the Mafia. Perhaps even more important for her readers is author Hamel’s ability to create these characters without one or more becoming an anti-hero to foster the promised happy ending. I am in awe. Then, to top it off, author Hamel designs a storyline that generates a Kindle melting relationship between the biological father and the legal mother of a child that the Mafia Boss wants and BAMB! Readers get DRAMA, theatrics, SEDUCTION, kidnapping, STEAM, and the off-the-charts emotional adventure of another B.B. Hamel HIT, “HIS DREAM BABY”! The romance is real, titillating, and HOT. The story is plausible, emotive and compelling. “HIS DREAM BABY” is the cure for any MARCH MADNESS woes, but fair warning: Once started, it is impossible to put down! I received an ARC copy of “HIS DREAM BABY” to prepare this honest, voluntary review of a MUST-BUY novel by one of my favorite authors, B.B. Hamel. Get your copy of B.B. Hamel’s HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, “HIS DREAM BABY”, today. You will be so glad you did. Happy pages 😉
Mafia Familia ties, missing babies, death threats, drugs, and starting over are some of the many things intertwined in B.B Hamel latest book! Tensions were running high between Connor and Leah, I am talking about the suspense building and sexual kind! Brought together over common love, and a universal dislike these two set out on a hard fast paced in your face hot, harrowing journey to fight off the mafia families wrath to save themselves and the ones they love! Can they protect their hearts from each other? A yum fest of feels, with tension building scenes, quite an infuriating tale with strong, soulful characters GAH! I was all in from page one till the very end! The twisted ming game turns, and uncertainties had me wanting to shake some fictional beings, BUT that shows how much I got into this story! Loved every minute of this action-packed, melt your heart one! 5 Stars from me!
I loved this book, this author is one of my favourite authers, and this didn't disappoint. It's a lovely emotional at times story about the lengths someone will go to, to protect their child. A different take on a mafia book, which could be read reasonably quickly, whilst still been long enough to have a decent storyline. I Conner and Leah were both likable characters, and the book was well written. My only issue, maybe because I'm not familiar with US family law, but from my perspective, as biological father with parental responsibly, and the main carer at the time his son went missing, and having reported his child as a missing. Once it came to light where Ryan was, he should have been returned. But I suppose that wouldn't have given much of a storyline, and a element of reading is suspending disbelief.
Conner and Leah meet when Conner tracks down his son, Ryan, who Leah adopted at her dying cousins instance. Ryan's mother was a drug addict and kidnapped him from his father, Conner in one of her drug fueled hazes running away with him. It took Conner two years to track down his son and that only happened when he read an article in the news. Conner falls in love with Leah the now adopted mother of his quiet and shy son. However the boy’s mother's family who are mob members also want Ryan. A full out struggle over the little boy ensues. There's lots of heat between Conner and Leah during the tug-of-war. I couldn't turn the pages quickly enough to find out if they'd achieve family and HEA status. I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC of this book and eagerly awaiting the next book by Ms. Hamel
His Dream Baby: A Miracle Baby Romance By B.B. Hamel. 4.5 Stars
OMG I can't decide which I Enjoyed more in this book, The excitement of the plot or the steamy passion!!! Lol
Conner really is courageous and determined. I applaud his character for his strength in trying and not giving up to find his son Ryan. Also how he supports Leah who adopted his son. Talk about devotion and understanding.
The Mafia, a mafia princess witha drug addict, a kidnapped son, a neice who adopts Ryan and Enzo Gallos family who tries to steal him. And that's just the cusp of things.
This story is, Great, Thrilling, Exciting and Really Passionate. Must read.
Mature readers, strong language and sexual content.
I have voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book by its author. Reviewer for Nook Books and More Blog
This was okay for me. Connor and Leah are good together, and they have good chemistry. My issue is with the rest of the story. I don't feel like I'm giving anything away, this happens in the first couple of chapters. Connor's baby is taken by his drug addicted mom. He's missing for 2 years, and then after the mom dies, is adopted by his aunt. Connor finds out, and goes to find him. This whole thing would have been avoided, all he had to do is call the cops, say this is my kid, and get him back. Leah and Connor keep making my roll my eyes with their actions. The ending is a little far fetched for me, but I do like a HEA. While this hasn't been my favorite by this author, I will be looking forward to what's next. I voluntarliy reviewed an advacned readers copy of this book.
Connor tracks down Leah to get back his child and it gets really complicated. She vowed to keep the child safe and is not sure who to trust with so much danger around them.
This author knows how to hook you into her stories. Connor is not perfect but he is trying to be the best father he can and did what he could to keep his child safe from the drugs and crime that destroyed the child's mother. You feel for him losing his son. Leah has a big heart and wants to keep this child safe too but Connor wants more from her. They both feel the intense desire for each other. It scares and excites her. There is a lot of danger surrounding them too and you are never sure when the enemy is going to strike.
I have read 2 of the other books in this series and both of them were at least believable and had some steamy scenes... In this book however the characters emotions don't always match what's going on around them and they are apparantly iduots. It takes them way too long to come to the conclusion that they need to leave the area. It's not even possible that Leah would've been granted the adoption as Connor had been involved from the beginning meaning his name would've been on the birth record and last but not least he had filed a police report so when Harper died the name would've flagged and Ryan would've been returned to him. This was not very well thought out and just was too much fantasy for the book to be good.
I was given an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review. I rated this as 3.5 stars.
A relatively fresh storyline for me, and not one I've read before. Although there did seem to be a couple of plot holes in this story, (Was Connor not listed on the birth certificate? How was Leah just able to adopt so quickly?), I did like the concept and my heart went out to Connor. Especially as he couldn't just announce himself to Ryan straight away.
I would have liked to see more of Ryan's character as he seemed adorable. And I'm a sucker for mafia romances, so if there's anything written on the rest of Harper's family I will definitely be reading them, because Enzo and Pierro were an interesting duo!
His dream baby is a great 4 star book that captured my attention with the blurb and didnt release it until i had binge read it all in an afternoon. This storyline is a fresh take on mafia books and I really enjoyed reading it. There's chemistry, banter and lots of entertaining fun in this book. This story is all about what you would do to protect the ones you love and I really enjoyed how the characters developed throughout. I would recommend you one click this book and enjoy the fresh take on this genre. B.B Hamel definitely delivered with this 4 star read. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book
Connor is relentless in his search for his son Ryan, who was abducted by his drug addicted mother Harper, as a few months old. When Connor finally sees an obituary for Harper, he tracks down Leah who is Harpers cousin, and who has adopted Ryan in order to keep him safe from his mothers’ mafia crime family. This is another well written story by this talented author, which flows seamlessly, and is unique, complicated, enthralling, and had me hooked and intrigued throughout. I always highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers, as she is my all time favourite to read, and I look forward to reading more of her work!
Wow. What a heartbreaking yet emotionally impactful story from BB Hamel!! This book grabbed me right from the start and it woulf not let me go. With kidnapping, death, threats, lust and love, how could you not love this book. The way she writes it immediately pulls you and will not let your heart leave unscathed. I loved this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Connor = 5/5 Heroine, Leah = 5/5 Chemistry = 5/5 Sex = 5/5 Plot = 5/5 Mystery = 3/5 Action = 3/5 Darkness = 4/5 Humor = 2/5 POV = dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this author = yes
Could you ever have the feeling of not know where your child was for 2 years Conner knew how that felt all to well. Conner is a self made man who believes that nothing can go wrong in his life until one night where his whole world changed for him some might say it was bad ,but other could say life never gives more than you can handle. Leah has a normal life going on that is until her cousin gives her son to watch over she just don't know what else will come with taking him in. I received this book as a arc for a honest review I can say that this book has a lot twist ,and turns that you will have to read to find out if Leah and Conner can find a way to make every thing work.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book Connor Hunt and Leah Terry have one thing in common... a quiet little boy called Ryan. Connor is Ryan’s Dad and been looking for him for 2 years after druggie mum Harper took him away. Problem is, her friend Leah Terry has now adopted him as per Harper’s wishes. Now the fun begins. A brilliant story of two people who will do anything to love, protect and care for Ryan, even against Leah’s crazy family...the Gallos who want Ryan. At times heartbreaking but it will have you rooting for them all the way. Fighting their own emotions, it is a futile battle and as we would wish Love survives everything. A brilliant story, loved it.
I enjoyed this story but did find it a bit heartbreaking (at least at the beginning)! I almost cried in the opening prologue! It is a heartwarming story of a dedicated father, a fun sweet boy, and the woman who is just trying to do what it right.I loved the flow of the story and the main males lust and affection for his son's adoptive mother. It was well written and the characters were amazing. The heat level was right on and the pace of the story fit its arc. I loved reading it. BB Hamel always delivers, no matter what she writes. I received and ARC and am leaving an honest review.
Leah finds herself a mother to her cousin's two year old son. She is doing her best but doesn't want anyone to take him away...not her cousin's family nor the boys' father. I love books by BB Hamel but I felt this one fell short. I got really tired of hearing Leah CONSTANTLY referring to herself as a stranger to the toddler although she has been the one raising and taking care of him. It was out of character for the woman who stands up to her family and makes sure the child is kept safe.
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review. To wake up and find that you child is missing is anybody nightmare but for Conner this happened. Searching to find his missing son is his life and one day is pay’s off but can he claim him back. Leah is now a mother due to her cousin passing away and leaving her child with Leah to adopt. But unfortunately things do no go smooth with her crime family wanting the boy and then the Father shows up. The book was a great read took me one day could not put down from start to finish kept you gripped brilliant.
This is Conner, Leah and Ryan's story. Conner had a baby with Harper, Leah's cousin. The baby was taken from him and he's been searching for years to find his son Ryan. Conner finds Ryan with Leah and their journey begins. Fighting their attraction and the Harper's vicious family trying to steal poor little Ryan away. Great story, but Conner was just a little to cocky for me when it came to Leah. Other than that it was great. Looking forward to see what B.B comes out with next.
I recieved a Advanced Readers Copy and I'm leaving a Voluntary Review.
I received this book in advance for a voluntary honest review. B.B. Hamel writes another awesome book. Connor wakes up one morning to find his drug addict girlfriend Harper has stolen their son Ryan. After searching for Ryan for two years he learns that Ryan is in Philly with Harper’s cousin, Leah, who has adopted him as Harper’s dying wish to keep him safe from his mafioso grandfather. Instant fireworks for Connor and Leah but she’s skeptical of his motives. Things heat up inside and outside of the bedroom. Can they keep Ryan safe?
