Breaking Free, Feeing Beck book one by L. Loryn. This is a short m/m story. The first in a series of three. I got into the characters right away. Liked how the story was going until it ended quite abruptly in a cliffhanger. Not really a fan of cliffhangers. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the story goes.
Reviewing this part since I don't plan to read the rest. This has an interesting premise: Beck is a guy who has been trained all is life to be bought by any man at an auction and the story is meant to be about his journey with his new 'master' while he grows into having more agency. A good start, but the problem is that it was way too rushed. It also has instalove, which is not my thing. The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the writting style, it is great and kept me going but not enough to finish it all.
Actually, this book was pretty great. The pacing was just right for me and had just enough to keep ms engaged. I liked the dynamic they had with eachother. It's just all around a good book, I think it wrapped up nicely enough to
