I’ve broken the heart of every nanny I’ve recruited. Can I keep my hands off my latest hire?
Him
My daughter is the most important thing in the world to me. And now I have to tell her, yet again, that her nanny won’t be returning. I need to hire someone who will resist my charms.
Well this time, I think I’ve found her. Jayne Hayfield, skillful, disciplined, and smoking hot, And most importantly, she doesn’t go for guys. At least, that’s what they told me. The way she’s looking at me right now, though, I can’t help worrying that history is about to repeat itself.
Her
Six years in the military, three tours of duty, experience in combat, but an interview for a nannying job is making my knees shake—and I’m still sitting down.
Benjamin Glen, San Bravado billionaire with smolder to spare. He’s my boss, so of course I wouldn’t, shouldn’t go there… But keeping my hands off of him might just be my toughest mission yet
He just admitted IN THE BLURB he slept with every single one of the nannies!
A) that’s workplace sexual harassment case just waiting on the corner (he is doubtful whether he’d be able to keep his hands off the next nanny, NOT the other way round). B) makes heroine nothing special whatsoever!
This book had everything I love in it. It is a sweet love story in the making along with some suspense. Jayne and Benjamin have a love many can only with for.
I enjoyed Mia. She was a hoot! The plot had potential; however, there was just something I didn't like about Benjamin running the nannies off because he slept with them. Mia definitely deserved better. Jayne's character was strong and well-developed. There was some drama though it deflated faster than a balloon. That drama didn't add anything to the story and could have been left out or it should have been more developed. It didn't make any sense. I'm glad they got their HEA; however, Jayne deserved a better man and Mia deserved a better father!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book...
Jayne Hayfield is nervous about a job interview for a nanny position she never thought she would get. Her 6-year ex-military career was hardly a ringing endorsement of her skills in that area, and the babysitting was most recently done way back in high school! Right now, Jayne needs to find a way to help others, to find meaning and purpose, and to get herself on track for her future. Her roommate, Amy, was ready to sign her up for a dating site, but she wasn’t ready for that either.
Jayne went to her interview, unable to read the expressions of her interviewers. When she made a joke about Amy being the wife she cooked for, giving her experience with nutrition, the interviewers glanced at each other and she was given the job! She and Amy started to celebrate at home with a strong drink, and Jayne already felt tipsy! That’s when her phone rang!
When Benjamin Glen realized the third nanny had quit because he had gotten “involved” with them, he knew he had to tell Mia. She was upset because she had liked Kay. He blamed the agency for sending over such attractive women; and he was too busy to date and just took advantage. He vowed that would stop now. He asked the agency to send in someone to his office right now – and she had to be gay (to make sure he would not be able to make another nanny quit).
Jayne was in a panic – the agency wanted her to go NOW for a final interview with Mr. Glen, the billionaire/CEO of a software company. She would have to take a cab since she was tipsy, and was not sure how she would do in an interview right now. Was she really going to do this interview now? She still had on her bedroom slippers! Her head was spinning! This could go wrong in so many ways!
This was a very well written and enjoyable story with wonderful characters. I loved the humor and could not wait to see how the situation worked out, with Benjamin feeling “safe” from temptation. Mia is a sweetie too and will capture your heart! Don’t miss this one. It’s definitely a “must read”!
Nanny For Hire By:Layla Valentine & Holly Rayner Se*y Army Heroine Saves The Day! She's a Retired Army Gal turned Nanny for Hire, but ultimately, she's the Se*y heroine of the story saving the HOT Billionaire Daddy when times get tough!! Layla Valentine & Holly Rayner offer a unique take on the Single Dad/Nanny plot in "Nanny For Hire." I was gifted an ARC of "Nanny For Hire" by Layla Valentine & Holly Rayner. I enjoyed their writing & will look for more of their work in the future. I gladly recommend this book to others. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given. Until next time... Happy Reading!
3.5 Stars. I liked the first book in this series enough to buy the second. This one, I struggled with. Jayne was a tough woman. Ex military she was able to use that training to scope out danger and act on it, even when Benjamin blew her off. She was so good with Mia, fell for her hard and fast. I loved Benjamin’s six year old daughter, Mia. She was a riot, and wise beyond her years. When he wasn’t letting his libido drive him, Benjamin was a good dad, I believed that he did love his daughter. But I really disliked that Benjamin blamed his inability to keep his hands off of his nannies on everyone and everything but himself. It was the agency’s fault for hiring and sending him beautiful, sexy nannies. It was the nannies fault for being beautiful and irresistible. He couldn’t help that he oozed sex appeal, and was quite the catch. Making himself irresistible. It was insulting for him to think the perfect solution was to have a gay nanny. If he couldn’t control himself, then leave it to the nanny to push him away. Ridiculous. It was really unfair to his nannies, his employees, not to mention to his six year old, who had become attached to each of these caregivers. I put the book down about half way through. I really was not sure I even wanted to finish their story. I did eventually. I’m glad I did. When these two finally pull their heads out of their backsides, they were good together. Made the perfect family. Even though there were parts I didn’t like, the writing was very good. It was quick paced, lots of humor, some suspense and a bit of drama. Dual points of view. No cheating. And an HEA.
I very much enjoyed Nanny For Hire. It was an interesting, funny and at the end very exciting. She's been out of the military for a month now and Jayne is looking for a job. She wants to work with kids so she applies for a job at a very the most exclusive nanny agency in San Bravado, Prestige Nanny. It's though them that she meet Benjamin and his 6 year old daughter Mia. Benjamin is almost 30, a tech billionaire and a single father. Jayne will be the fourth nanny he's hired for Mia. The other three left because he hooked up with them, they wanted more and he didn't. It was a nice read not too long and not too short. I love the relationship Jayne and Mia form throughout the book. The only thing that I was kind of iffy about was Benjamin's lack of self control when it came to, well, staying away from the nannies. Other than that I thought it was a great story. You should go one-click or borrow Nanny For Hire with KU now. There's NO cliffhangers and NO cheating. And definitely a HEA! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Benjamin is a hot and rich single father, looking for a new nanny for his daughter. He’s driven away the last few by getting with them and then not being able to give them what they’re looking for (e.g. an actual relationship). Jayne is young, strong, smart, recently retired military, and looking for a job that will let her be around children since she loves working with them. She interviews at a nanny service, gets paired with Benjamin after a funny misunderstanding, and things take off from there. She’s pretty bada*s, and I loved her character. Loved Benjamin, too. He may be your typical rich alpha male, afraid of commitment and not wanting to do anything to hurt his daughter, but he’s written well and I couldn’t help swooning a bit. I definitely recommend this book for a quick and entertaining read.

I was gifted this ebook in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are my own.
A story that is well written and has a great storyline and plot. I like the characters and they are well described. They develop nicely through the story. It is a story that is not only about the steamy hot scenes but also has a lot of heart in it. It is romantic and passionate. The characters are so likeable and you can only care about their HEA.
I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. The twists and turns are so unexpected that they made it worth the read. A story that is an emotional roller coaster. It is of a great length.
A single father that is scared of committing and relationships. He do not want to bring women to his daughter that are only there for a short time. This nanny is something different to them. She is strong and passionate about other people and her work.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I really enjoyed this next book in the San Bravado Billionaire's Club. Jayne and Benjamin were such a wonderful couple to read about and Mia; Benjamin's daughter was adorable. I liked that Jayne had a different background than most women you read about who are Nannies. As well as the fact that she was a bit older.Benjamin may have had a few flaws when it came to his past interactions with previous nannies but with Jayne he really was trying. I also liked the fact that this book is different from the first book as far as story line and what happens along the way The chemistry between the two was steamy and hot. Well written book with just a touch of suspense along with a great HEA!
I really enjoyed this book from Lalyla Valentine and Holly Rayner. It wasn't your typical nanny story that you see so often which always a nice change. Besides the expected, their was humor, danger, lust, confusion and love. Even a tiny little bit of heartbreak. Overall I really liked it and recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Benjamin = 5/5 Heroine, Jayne = 5/5 Chemistry = 5/5 Sex = 5/5 Plot = 4/5 Mystery = 2/5 Action = 2/5 Darkness = 1/5 Humor = 3/5 POV = dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this author = yes
Nanny For Hire is about single dad, Ben and his need to hire yet another nanny since he can’t keep it in his pants! Seriously, hire a manny or someone older and maybe not his type? That was probably my main hang up. For such a smart guy, his decision making skills when it comes to the welfare of his kid is a bit off. Jayne, having been in the military, you’d think had more self control.. seems the two are in the same boat. I know it sounds like I’m complaining, but the overall story checked off the boxes and kept my interest. 3.75 stars. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.
Jayne had got out of the army and was looking to work with children and had an interview with a top nanny agency. She was living with her army buddie and best friend who she loving referred to wife. Ben has a bad record with nannies he didn't want a full time relationship between work and his daughter he didn't have time and it was hurting his little girl keep losing her nannies after getting to know them. Though this is a love story there is some action to add a bit of spice to the book and some twist too.
Nanny for Hire by Layla Valentine is a single dad and nanny romance. Benjamin's nannies leave after working for a few months because this daddy cant keep his hands off them. The billionare is to busy working to date so he sets his sites on the nannies. The single father makes himself a promise that he will stay clear from the next nanny but that all changes once he meets Jayne. Jayne is unlike all the other nannies, in fact he has never met another woman like her before. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
I thought it was a nice book to read. A little bit playable, but that should not spoil the fun. She is looking for a new job after she has left the army, he looking for a new nanny, because it did not work with the other. They feel very attracted to each other and finally they go for it .. despite that they did not expect to fall so quickly for each other. Finally everything is fine. It has everything, humor, drama, action and hot scenes. From me therefore 3.5 star.
Benjamin's a billionaire with a reputation for breaking nanny hearts and swears to not let it happen again. This time he swears it'll be different and he hires an ex army gal who has three tours under her belt. An added bonus is the agency says she doesn't go for guys. Well, obviously that wasn't true. A cute story with lots of banter back and forth. Their chemistry is off the charts and his daughter Mia is adorable. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
I love Layla’s writing, but this one is by far my favorite! Single, sexy dad, and a badass heroine. This chick has it all! She’s classy, sexy and great with kids, but most importantly, she’s a badass! After 6 years in the army she’s got not one inch of doubt when it comes time to take care of her loved ones. She definitely saves the day. I cannot wait to see what’s next in the series! I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Jayne is a 26-year-old ex-military that applies for a nanny job after being retired from army. Benjamin is a 29-year-old single father in need of a nanny, after the last one left because he slept with her. Now Jayne is Benjamin’s daughter new nanny. Is story going to repeat itself or they gonna have a happily ever after?? A beautiful read with an amazing finale! I loved every second of it and I totally recommend it!!
I received an ARC of this book and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
Yowza...what an awesome read! Layla Valentine and Holly Rayner have really nailed it with Nanny for Hire. I’m talking about a kickass storyline; well developed characters; twists and turns that you don’t see coming; and a totally amazing HEA. You definitely want to add this one to your personal library today! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and absolutely loved it!!) ❤️❤️❤️
Benjamin is the hot rich single dad who loves his daughter Mia. Jayne is ex-military strong female trying to be a nanny. Their meeting was instant attraction but can Benjamin risk loosing another nanny because he can't keep it in his pants? This is the story of how even with the best intentions sometimes the one is hard to ignore. I'm not really sure Benjamin is really trying to change his ways with this nanny but she may not want him to. I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.
Benjamin is having a problem keeping a nanny for his daughter Mia, he ends up sleeping and when they want a relationship it is over. Now he thinks he has found the perfect solution, Jayne, he thinks she is gay, what will happen when he finds out she isn’t. This is a fast-paced read with plenty of drama and lots of steamy. I was hooked from beginning to end.
It's not all about the Benjamin in this story, but about love. I absolutely love Benjamin and Jayne, plus Mia is wonderful as well. It's a beautiful story, and it has just the right amount of heat and heart. Great writing and perfect characters. I would highly recommend it. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.
This book was fantastic. It was exciting to read and kept me up all night. Single dad romances always sucker me in and I'm so glad I read this. Benjamin and Jayne were too perfect. She was perfect for him. I just loved their relationship. Great characters and very well written!
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
Benjamin is a single father raising his daughter Mia. Jayne gets hired to be Mia's nanny because of a misunderstanding. This book has great chemistry between the characters and the storyline is wonderful. I thought this book was well written and would definitely recommend. Another fantastic read from Layla I just loved this book it was well written and full of action it had my interest until the very end, Jayne and Benjamin were so great together they make a wonderful couple. This was a great read and a super addition to the series I liked that it was completely different from the first book and I would recommend it
Ben is such a doting father yet he can’t keep his hands off the nannies. Mia is such a beautiful little girl who really deserves to have a happy family and has lost out on having a mother because Dad can’t commit. Jayne is the perfect woman for both of them. It was a sweet, sexy, hot, romantic story that made me smile.
An awesome book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Kiki's was a dumb review. Its a fine book, not great, but good. It is somewhere between a 3 and a 4*. I was generous and gave it four. Yeah, he slept with his nannies. But this one was "different" . 😎
