Sheer Submission #5

Sheer Consequence

Rate this book
Introducing SHEER CONSEQUENCE, part five of the scorching new alpha billionaire romance series, SHEER SUBMISSION, by Hannah Ford…

Stay away from her.

The words burned against my brain, searing hot. Then another thought, more dangerous than the first.

Tie her wrists, brand her, teach her.

She was wearing a dress that was a size too small, and I knew immediately she didn’t have a boyfriend waiting for her at home, because no man would have let her out of the house in that.

The dress was red. Short. A sweetheart neckline that was supposed to make her look innocent, but did nothing except push her full curves up and over the material. Her hair was dirty blond and long, tousled around her shoulders.

She was sipping a glass of champagne and looking around nervously, her wide eyes flicking from person to person at the party, as if she were afraid she was going to get caught.

What have you done, bad girl? Something you should be punished for?

My palm burned as I imagined taking her over my knee, that short little dress pushed up, the place between her legs pulsing.

The feeling of desire I had looking at her was like an electric shock to my soul.

My instincts said to leave her alone, that this would end in nothing but tragedy. My instincts had always served me well in the past.

But this time, I decided to ignore them.

An innocent girl.

A ruthless man.

An inevitable, sordid devastation…

Like the storyline, but would enjoy them more if they were actual books, not chapters

I honestly like the story but they're so short and released at such long intervals that I don't remember what is actually going on in the story. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a "book" that is 20 chapters costing $60.

0 clue what I just read, honestly. So the sister ran away with what turns out is probably her brother, but is somehow not the heroine's brother? Like what the fuck? Nowhere was it mentioned that the heroine and her sister were adopted or not full sisters, so that would be that the heroine is also related to the brother, but that seems to just go over everyone's head. And then, the sex scene? Which I hope no one is taking anything in these as remotely anatomically possible because if they are, they're in for a world of hurt.

And finally, our heroine is the reason her sister doesn't have parents because she killed them, despite previously springing the fact that they drowned on the reader. Really not here for this level of over-the-top bullshit, so I'll have to bid this series adieu.

Again I hate reading a series before all the books are available but this has drawn me in and I can’t help myself read the next book as soon as is available, I am really enjoying this but it is way too short, it would be so much better if each book was longer meaning less books in the series, I have been very fortunate that I have been able to read the arc books and being really honest if not for the arc I would only continue if available in ku, because they would be too expensive to buy individually, great series though 😊

I am truly enjoying this series from Hannah Ford, however I have to wonder if it is going to get into books 15 or 20 and as a fan of this series is very frustrating. Each book seems to get better than the last however, it's not a book but simply a chapter at a time. Time to wrap up this series or give us more in each book. I hope soon we will find the answers to all the questions that have been building. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book provided by Booksprout.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Things are starting to escalate. Aven and Landon found Violet and Connor, but they escaped. Leaving Aven to worry as to what was going on. Landon imparted information he was not sure about but it affected Violet profoundly. Landon did punish Aven for acting out. Then at the end a shocking confession from Aven. A great read.

Sheer Consequence

Now it turns out Connor and Violet are brother and sister because of an affair their father had. They seem to be having an affair before they got the results to tests. Aven and Landon have hardcore sex and she then wants to run after them when Connor and Violet run away from them. The next release deals with Aven as she admits she had something to do with their parents automobile accident. Next release deals with this statement she made to Landon.

Wow the tension keeps ratcheting up. We now learn a little about the disappearance of Violet. Landon finally, fully claims Aven. Do we see a fissure in Landon’s facade?. What a cliffhanger!. Love this serialisation. I can’t get enough of this story

While I love Hannah Ford's writing , I have to admit that her sequels are getting shorter and shorter. The quality of her work, however cannot be denied. Anytime one of her books comes out I am right there in line! This book is no different, it keeps you guessing all the way to the end and more! Great read!

It’s hard to get into the characters when the author is manipulating every book/chapter to their advantage. Hate cliffhangers.

Too short

Ok so I like this series but come on this is now dragging on and the price for the books are too expensive for how short they are.

Seriously! How can a book be this enthralling? I cannot get enough of Aven and Landon and the truth that Aven is out to uncover.
This one is definitely packed with so much apprehension and questions that it made it impossible for me to not read. The entire story has been shrouded in mystery, which I love, and the heat level between Aven and Landon has went up another notch. I can't wait to see what else this story has coming.
