“I came to see if Rook the Rabid was down for an adventure,” the Demon said, and a wicked grin spread slowly across her face.

I may have escaped a life of slavery, but the rest of the werewolf people still lived under the oppression of the Pack Masters.

I’ve finally found a home and a love I would kill to protect, but in order to free the Dogs of their magical collars, I must embark on a dangerous journey that will take me to the ends of the realms.

With a smart-mouthed and untrustworthy demon by my side, I will have to face my fears and risk my life, all the while making tough decisions with unknowable consequences.

In the shadows of the world, I’ll find creatures straight out of nightmares, and must try not to let the darkness swallow me whole.

From the author of The Blood Pack Trilogy, The Alexa Montgomery Series, and The Aria Fae Series comes the third book in the epic fantasy Wolf Wars Series.

So, with regret, I have to give this one 2 stars

You know when you are so excited and waiting for the next book in a series to come out and you think its going to be all like this

description

But instead it's pretty much a lot of this

description

and some of this
description

and then more of this

*SIGH*

yeah... that was this book.

Fast paced

Or heroine’s journey is advancing at a quick clip, this time without the trusted presence of Adriel beside her. Her growth is necessary for the battles book 4 promise, but it’s still hard to see, and the foreshadowing that abounds here promises a painful, final book to the saga.

First person, single POV (mostly), fantasy
Rating = R
Ending type = Cliffhanger
Romantic dynamic = M/F
Character age range = 18+

Pros:
- Fast
- Character growth
- Asha is pretty awesome
- Hero’s journey continues to be obvious

Cons:
- A repeated scene from last book?
- Foreshadowing leaves few surprises

Loving it!

This series continues to hold a hard grip on my imagination and enjoyment. The characters, both good and bad, keep developing and changing. The plot is outstanding and doesn't wander off the path.

To my delightful, I have just learned that there is a fourth book coming to bring this remarkable series to an end. I look forward to it, but I am also sad as well. However isn't that the mark of an excellent author?

Ummm...

Well I hate to do it but this book fell a little short for me. I found it a little boring with all the traveling that was done. I found myself saying "hurry up and get there already" I just wasn't that into this book. I also found myself kissed off that the author totally just skipped Rooks and Aderial first time together I was looking forward to that and now I feel I got gipped!! The book was still good just to me it got boring.

Moon Born, the third book of the Wolf Wars series. is an ebook I downloaded from Kindle Unlimited. Meh, after the faster pace of the prior book, this one didn't seem as interesting. There was good forward progression of the plot, but the whole Seer concept and the vagueness surrounding the group's quest item (don't want any spoilers, but we never get to know what the item does). Good set up for book four.

Epic Adventure

Oh! Things are intense in this book! An epic adventure with loads of danger and deadly creatures makes our merry band of unlikely allies dependent on each other for survival! Lots of squabbles and humor to lighten things up. It was a great book, I'm really enjoying this series!

Yes to everything about this book!

Wow, what a story that was told! It was a huge magical adventure that involved Rukiya, Asha and a Valac warrior of the Erl Queen's. They traveled many a different land and did some crazy things. It was awesome and the end with Rukiya and Adriel was great, I was looking forward to that.

Good

I liked the book, but I didn’t like it as much as I remembered with the first two books. There were some parts where it had odd wording, and some action scenes were odd. I really wish authors wouldn’t include sex scenes in books, but thankfully the scenes in this book were short and easy to skip.

Awe inspiring, to say the least!

This journey was extreme and dangerous and also grand! It was death defyingly challenging and bonded people who wouldn't have been possible under other circumstances. Greatness has been achieved and I'm looking forward to finding out what the next book holds in store for us readers.

Great!!

This series just keeps getting better and better every book. Rook, a half demon and a soldier of the queen must travel and battle unimaginable beasts to reach where the seers live and discover how to take off the collars that the Dogs are forced to wear. Stunning story with lots of excitement and a love for the ages. Remarkable writing.

Intrigue and Learning

Learning is always good. Especially when learning that people, no matter how different can get along. Friendship is very important and learning to be happy. Wow, deep learning is the best kind.

Great story continues!

Rook’s journey continues in book 3! We get to learn more about characters that we were already introduced to and we get to meet new characters. Love the friendship that Rook formed on her adventure!!
