Belial #12

The Belial Fall

Rate this book
Samyaza’s death wasn't the end of the war between the forces of good and the forces of evil.
It was the beginning of a whole new fight.

Delaney McPhearson has been pulled from one crisis to the next since Samyaza's death. Trying to put out each fire as they pop up, while simultaneously trying to tamp down public fears about the Fallen, she is being stretched impossibly thin.

And that’s part of the plan: keep Laney so busy that she doesn’t realize what her government is up to until it is too late.

Everyone related to Delaney is in the government’s crosshairs. There is no way for Laney to protect them all.

In fact, they made sure there was no way for her to protect any of them.

Series, The Unwelcome Trilogy, and the latest addition, the Shadow Directive series, including Predator Dominion.

Whether it's a global genetic conspiracy, an ancient civilization buried beneath modern myths, or a killer storm trapping a wrongly accused man, R.D.'s books deliver the adrenaline, mystery, and emotional depth that fans of Michael Crichton, Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, and James Rollins crave.

When not writing, R.D. teaches martial arts, runs with her dogs, and tends to her garden. Under the pen name Sadie Hobbes, she also writes sharp, fast-paced urban fantasy thrillers.

I want justice for Laney & the Team

You know it's an impactful storyline when you curse outloud several times during the horrible treatment of the main characters. It was gut wrenching to read the scenes with Mary Jane and her family. Dom's situation was horrifying as well. Such a great turn of events in the storyline and I am enthralled. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Another Great Book

Another Great Book in thr series that kept me on my toes. I love the historical references that are in the story. I never knew there was rumor of a female pope. Bit I do know of the prophecy of the last pope and we are now at that bridge and will have to wait and see what happens.

The reason i joined kindle.

I love this series. It has everything I love in a series, fallen angels, history, archaeology, red heads, an amazing heroine, and interweaving the real history into a believable story. Thankyou xx

It was a good book, but you definitely need a certain mindset. This isn’t an escape from a messy world, this is a step into another messy world where the bad guys also don’t always get what they deserve.

Should have ended with book 12

I've read and enjoyed all the books in this series and wished it ended with the previous book. I found this one disturbing and tough to finish. I'll still read the last book in the series since this one ended with a cliffhanger.

good

As always this series keeps you turning the pages. The plot and characters in the narrative are interesting. Plot twists are always near by. However the book needed an editor which was a little distracting.

Another good Belial read!

I have truly enjoyed this series. Lots of action, good characters, and evil bad guys. Just wish Laney would quit feeling so guilty.

I have enjoyed this series and am saddened that this one might be the last.
The stories are all a testament to good over bad and of love and loyalty.
I hope that we might be treated to at least one more story???
