BARE, a hot new standalone novel from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Deborah Bladon.

The first and last one-night stand I had ended with zero orgasms for me and my wallet gone.
I fell asleep after the man who called himself Kent rolled off of me and out of my life.
The only thing he left behind was a business card on the floor next to the bed.
Griffin Kent. Attorney at Law.
Since I don't know a soul in New York, I head straight to the jerk's office on Madison Avenue to get back my wallet and reclaim my pride.
I'm not prepared for what happens when I arrive at the prestigious law firm of Kent & Colt.
I doubt that the real Griffin Kent would leave a woman unsatisfied in any way. He's tall, dark haired and dangerously handsome. He's also the complete opposite of the imposter I spent the night with.
The arrogant attorney orders his assistant to help me, but he's the one who enrolls in the art class I came to Manhattan to teach.
He may be my student, but something tells me that Griffin is going to be schooling me in the art of seduction.

Author's Note: This sexy standalone novel contains a dirty talking attorney, nude male models and a touching HEA. Although some characters from my previous books appear in BARE, you don’t have to read any of my other books to enjoy this breathtaking romance!

Deborah Bladon had never read a romance hero she didn't like. Her love for romance novels began when she was old enough to board the bus, library card in hand to check out the newest Harlequin paperbacks. She was a Canadian by heart, and by passport, but you could often spot her in New York City sipping a latte and looking for inspiration for her next story. Manhattan was definitely her second home.

She cherished her family and believed that each day was a gift for writing, for reading, and for loving.

DNF @ 30%

I just wasn’t feeling it. I don’t even know how to describe it…just wasn’t connecting with the characters and even the side characters were meh. Too much sexual talk with not enough substance to balance it out. But hey! I got it for free 😜

I reviewed an ARC.

I devoured this book in a day. It was a hot, romantic read with a unique meet-cute. I've briefly heard about our hero in a few of the author's other books, and was glad to get to his tortured story.

I liked Piper's character more than Griffin's. She seemed dedicated and talented and so ambitious. I loved their connection. My only issue with his character was a few of the things he said came off a little douche-y. Some of his alpha moments came off as asshole. Regardless, they ended up being great for each other.

The secrets Griffin keeps close are heartbreaking. I may have cried a little.

Overall, this was another great read from Bladon.

This book lacked depth and meaning, the character growth process was also poorly written. This book could have been so much better, if the author made the development more sentimental and made the characters more relatable. However, the book was interesting but it wasn’t the romance I was looking for therefore I read up to like 80% and couldn’t be bothered to finish it. I know, i know I could have finished it but I just couldn’t. Don’t hate me, this is just my opinion.

Deborah Bladon always delivers. Her latest stand alone is a quick and fun read, pinning together a lawyer and an artist after a case of mistaken identity. The connection is quick and the sex is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The only reason it’s not a 5 Star is because I wish I had a little more time to connect with the characters. Otherwise it’s a feel-good all the way around! Go download it! -

Who’d have thought a bad night would lead to meeting someone you cannot get out of your head.

Piper thought she was confronting the bad guy but she was meeting someone entirely different. Griffin cannot get Piper out of his head, so he signs up for her bare art class.

It’s chemistry instantly, but she won’t be so easy. This couple is a classic push and pull.

I enjoyed this story. Beautiful friendship, sexual tension, career blossoming, and moving forward. Not a lot of drama, the story is more focused on getting beyond tragedy.

I liked it. I cannot wait for Sebastian’s and Dylan’s stories. I hope Draven gets one too.

Opening up for love

Bare is an amazing read! Deborah never disappoints in delivering a captivating story, I finished it in one day.
Griffin Kent is a successful divorce attorney with a sad past. He is a confirmed bachelor that never gets past two nights with a woman.
Piper Ellis just moved to New York from Denver, she is an artist who accepted a teaching position at a gallery. After a one night stand goes horribly wrong she ends up in Griffins office to accuse him of theft.
Griffin is captivated by the beautiful brunette and has to have her!

Yet another great book!!!

Yet another great book from Deborah Bladon. I love how she gives us new stories but intertwine people from her other books. All her books make me feel as if they are real people. This one is about Griffin and Piper. Both have a troubled past but it seems Griffin has deeper pain and Piper has to work through her hurt to help him. This author believes in love and happy ever after with great sex!!! Looking forward to her next book.

Me. Kent...

Seriously this another winner. The story had great flow with the perfect mix of drama, anticipation and sexy bedroom scenes. The characters of Piper and Griffin were very real and as always I love how characters from previous series and novels pop up in Bladon’s New York. I’m totally hooked. This is another must read.

Another great story by Deborah. I love how characters from the other books are mingled with the new books. It was funny how Piper and Griffin meet and then continue to run into each other. Her art background allows her to see more beneath the surface with Griffin and allow him the time to open up to her. Can’t wait for the next book.

This is a great book. Deborah manages to write addictive stories that engage the reader and hold their attention and interest throughout the book. The storyline is of course well-written and flows smoothly and has defined characters. I think Deborah's' books are Must Reads. I loved it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Bare

An amazing, open your heart, beautiful, do you believe in love at first site? What a journey for Piper, moves to New York, new job, not everything happens for the best, then due to an unfortunate event she meets Griffin. Where this will lead, you just have to read to find out. Deborah doesn't disappoint as usual, great story, loved it💞.

Freaking outstanding! I love everything Deborah Bladon! Bare is a true gem of a read. Love, romance some humor and a glimpse of supportive friends I’ve had the pleasure to read already.

Can Piper find happiness in New York? Will Griffin open up to her? Will he finally give his heart to someone?

A must read.

Romancing the Piper.

Piper moved to NEw York with high expectations. One thing Piper wanted to check off her bucket list was a one night stand. This however left her the without an orgasm and her wallet. Piper discovers her one night stand left his business card on the floor, she sets out to confront her bad decision. Griffin Kent is a successful attorney. He finds himself in hot water when a beautiful irate women storms into his office demanding he be arrested for stealing her wallet. To her shock and dismay she discovers he's not the Griffen Kent the stole her wallet and left her regardless!! This was such a fun read. Piper's bucket list lead her on an unexpected journey, to an unexpected man in the form of Griffen Kent. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏👏

Wonderful

This was my first time reading a Deborah Bladon novel, and I am pleasantly surprised. It is well-written, has a good plot and strong characters with witty and most importantly grammatically correct dialogue. She sets her scenes nicely as well: the book takes place in NYC, and she describes even the smallest details thoroughly to bring the city to life. The story just flows, even when our lovers have a rough patch (as couples often do) the story still keeps one riveted, perhaps even more. I adored Piper and Griffin; the only saving grace was Ms. Bladon's inclusion of an Epilogue!

💥💔💕

This was definitely a rough story dealing with the emotional tragedy that broke a family apart and almost broke Griffin and Piper. There have been many times in my own life when I contemplated suicide bc I thought I was too much of a burden to the people who love me. I finally understand that choosing to end my life is the most selfish thing I can do to them. They would always wrestle with the fact they weren’t there, they would doubt themselves and tear themselves apart. This is exactly what Griffins family and he himself have done. Thankfully he meets piper and she helps him heal. This is a beautiful story full of hope and healing.

Cheesy

Cheesy and predictable. Started off ok. Only got as far as chapter 28 when the serious eye rolling began. Full of the usual cliches and as the characters are supposed to be clever, they're really not that bright. I hate books where everything falls into place so easily, like they just happen to know a certain person, in a city like NY? I know books are supposed to be some form of escapism, but I'd like a bit of realism too. Read if you want to lose either a few brain cells or your rag.... Not my cup of tea at all.

I liked Piper more than Griffin. I'll be honest and say I hate that it started off with her having a one night stand. No it's not on page but you know. A person not being who they claim is the exact reason why you shouldn't just sleep with anyone you meet. Half the time you can't trust people you do know much less a stranger. I did think it was a bit much to go to his office airing out your dirty laundry. I'd have been embarrassed but that's me and my prude self.

Great romance

Another really nice romantic read Deborah Bladon never fails to engage her readers with her characters. Griffin is a hot shot divorce lawyer who can have any woman he wants. Piper is an aspiring artist who is new to the city, these two meet in an unusual way but the attraction between them is instantaneous. They have a bumpy ride but in the end love shines through and his past issues get solved her care. Another really enjoyable hot sexy romantic tale.

Another 5 star review

I absolutely love reading Deborah Bladon’s books. I am left speechless after I read them. You always need tissues but in the very best way. I love the interconnected characters in the books and even though I’ve read them out of order I love to see them pop in. There has been an HEA in each book so I know the characters will find their way through the darkness.

great book

I really enjoyed this book, it has a well thought out storyline that was interesting, kept me captivated and not able to put the book down until the very last word.
Loved the ups and downs, highs and lows. The twists and suspense were perfect.
Loved the nude sketch class, Rufus’s replacement had me laughing.
Lots of sexual tension and steamy scenes.
Overall a great read

Great story! Piper wakes up to find that her one night stand stole her wallet and her phone. But he left a business card that says he is a lawyer. She tracks him down only to find out he wasn’t her one night stand. But he still helps her and even signs up for her art class. He is determined to win her heart. And that’s exactly what he does.

Another beautiful love story by Ms. Bladon! These are like "potato chips" for me, I can't stop with just one. I want a whole "bag" of them, but unfortunately I must keep waiting for the next one. They are always worth the wait.

Bare

Good title! I gave 4 stars only because I wasn't sucked in to either hero or heroine. Too much of something I can't put a word to it or maybe I can? It will come to me later. I adore DB's writing she is the top 5 of my favorite authors. This story wasn't her best.

Great book

There were a host of characters in this book, I assume to segue spin off books or remind us of characters we should already know from the author’s other books. This made it hard to keep up with who was who. Great book though!

Damn that book was good. I guess a really good book keeps you wanting to read more about the characters even when it's finished. Well Bare has certainly done that. I'm in brain overload going over the characters in my head and what could have happened after. 10/10.

Brilliant

Another fantastic book by the very talented author Deborah Bladon. This is a standalone book but I like the fact that characters from other books pop up. It follows the story of Piper an artist and Griffin a lawyer.

The art of emotions

I liked the simplicity of this book only a hand full of characters to follow. Art is the connection that brought this couple together, it's also going to cause a whirlwind of a problem. This story draws you in, before you.
