Rhapsody’s adventures continue in book three of this steamy reverse harem fantasy filled with danger, romance, and intrigue. Rhapsody finds herself captured by the king’s royal guards, taking far away from the palace and her kindreds. The king is determined to silence her voice and the dissent he fears her songs will bring. She makes her escape only to end up in the clutches of the dragons and brought to their city in the harsh mountains. There, she must use all her cunning and her music to stay alive and do whatever she can to further the princess’s plot to overthrow the king. No matter what it takes. If she wants to be reunited with her kindreds, she’ll have to find allies in this community of secretive killers and fight with her songs to pave the way for a treaty with Faligrey.
An expert in parkour, Helene Gadot moonlights as a Nail Polish Namer and occasional ghostwriter. She lives with her husband and trio of rugrats in the South. Helene has a serious coffee mug and throw pillow addiction, and when she isn't reading or writing, she's probably shopping online.
I finished the book, but I don't plan on finishing the series. This is mainly because of my personal preference, not anything objectively wrong that the author did. I just miss when it was only the MC and the assassins. .
the author wouldn't split 2-3 good length books into so many short books. I will never understand why authors make the readers wait for so many books to come out to continue the story. I usually end up forgetting about the series and never get to finish them because the wait is so long in between books
Was not disappointed. FINALLY, Rhapsody has her mind on straight and is done with the wishy-washy attitude. Bastian though is a nice addition, though a but if a slow burn for them. I am interested in getting to know how they all work out together. Spoiler***Also nice to see she finally got all 4 together😉.
I’m so proud of Rhapsody in this book lol she’s grown up. She’s FINALLY learning from previous experiences and following the bonds. It just so happens she’s met her match haha go figure. I feel like she found her footing a lot in this book and she’s ready and geared up for the fight that’s coming for the throne. Excited for the next book.
This book was a very quick read but SO GOOD!! I love the new kindred, Bastien. He is smart and stubborn and omg I’m a sucker for a little gray in the hair! Looking forward to the next one!
5/5 "Besides, I was no damsel, waiting on my guys to come and save the day. I'd save my own damn self." Gotta say the Rhapsody is a bad ass. But not just her the other lady's in this book serious are tough and know how to kick butt. This book did not let me down. On to the next one.
Book still going great! Not been able to put these series down, had to finish them. As the title says "her dragon" another one is added to her group of lovely sexy men but this one is putting up a fight and it's not the only fights she's got ahead. A choice she has to make
Rhapsody ends up in the hands of the Dragons and look what happens. Another kindred. This series is so delicious. Just love it. Very exciting, fun, dangerous and sexy. Another cliff hanger but have the next book ready and you will be fine.
This is the third book in the series and it was excellent. I love the dragon people, written so well you could visualize them. I love how the connections grew even stronger in this one.
Helene is amazing! Her world is so fascinating and imaginative. I love where this is steadily going. But knowing that Rhapsodys new kindred is so hesitant hurts me, ugh.
Rhapsody finally met her match in stubbornness lol. Can't wait to read the next book to see if her and her dragon will finally work out. I swear these books keep making me think Rhapsody is some type of siren or muse. Would be an awesome twist!
So good! Interesting and had my complete attention. I loved the characters.. I enjoyed the will they won't they.. the angst is high. I flew through this book and on to the next. A must read. Highly recommended.
At not much over 100 pages, it's best to think of these books as episodes rather than a full novel. Great story, but I'm glad to be reading them when they're all released already.
