Hellcat #1

Mated To The Demon Prince

Rate this book
Sean knows what those wicked, hellfire eyes want. Him, on his knees, taking every finger, tongue, tail, and tentacle.

This is what being corrupted by a demon feels like. It’s the only explanation. Sean’s not supposed to have fangs or know magic, damn it. And this bs where he’s horny and begging all the time? No, not freaking happening. He’s just a nerd—a hot, gay, totally panicky IT specialist—who needs to find a solution to his destroyed business, asap. He doesn’t have time for whatever weird this shapeshifting demon is into. Soot can’t just claim him whenever he wants, over and over again. He’s about to be homeless!

If Sean doesn’t save a witch from a dragon, it’s game over. But he’s changing, turning into someone he doesn’t recognize. He’s not sure if he can play hero, not even when Soot abducts TJ, Sean’s painfully straight crush, to the top of a tower full of witches, gargoyles, and one very pissed off dragon. TJ doesn’t know who to fear more, the demon prince or whatever it is Sean is turning into.

There has to be a way out. Stealing a 3 million dollar hellcat isn’t a binding contract to be a sex thrall, no matter how much his demon master disagrees.

Well,F*CK... i absolutly don't know how to review this book. For the moment, the only reviews here are 4/5 stars but honestly, i have mixed feeling... A part of me really loved the book because it was obscenely hot

but the other is like "HELL NO! What the fuck did i read?!?"

Yes the book managed to turn on like REALLY - i admit it..- while making me constantly unconfortable to the point of wanted to throw up sometimes because of how "not right" it was

so how can i review that??? I mean hate the end but i love it at the same time and i need to read the sequel as soon as possible because TJ's future "reaction" is the only thing that may makes me feel less unconfortable with this book... I don't know how to feel

3.5 up to 4....
I'm not sure how to review this.... I loved it and at the same time I had my doubts.
It was one fuck fest which could be too much... but it wasn't, it was awesome. The story around it a bit chaotic but hell the fest makes it all up.
So I loved Soot and Sean and TJ... Soot is a demon, Sean a human and TJ is Sean's best friend.

Sean lives in a apartment and after a witch enters his building everything turned into a hell.
There is one light and that is the demon. A demon with an unbelievable hot multitasking body.
Sean just can't resist Soot... or is it the other way around?

There is a lot of chaos around them. They have to fight witches and wands.
It was a hot steamy read, with hot steamy characters. It is written in a very nice optimistic way.
The hot fucks, unconditional love and dedication from Soot were for me the best part.

Sadie Sins is a hit or miss for me. She does a great job of non con hot sex and sometimes adds enough touches of emotion to form relationships. I couldn't wrap my arms around the MCs and care about them. Soot/Fides was passive aggressive, alternating between manipulating and dominating. Sean was wishy washy and weak. He complained, ranted and raved, but always caved in. He also perved on his straight friend TJ. TJ was just a naive virginal sex object - a pet gift from Fides to Sean. The menage was cut short by the cliff hanger ending.

The next installment will focus on Sean trying to convince TJ. As it stands in this book, there wasn't much relationship development between Sean and Fides before adding a third person.

I'll dive straight in here and say that the start of this did not impress me. But I must implore you curious reader, it does get better. Much better.

We start off with Sean, and I wont give away too much, who to me doesn't come across as a very friendly guy. Of course there are reasons why he is the way he is, and I am sure there will be more explained in the next book or the following. By the way this does have a Happy For Now kind of ending. That is all I shall say. To get back on track, Sean comes with a complicated history. Part of that is due to the way his parents treated him, a crazy ex lover and a straight best friend he's had a crush on since... since they've seen each other. At least from what I gather here so far.

Things go straight to hell early on in this book, and this was where I had some problems with, because I couldn't fathom what the hell was going on. Maybe this part could've been sped up a little. It was chaotic, with far too many things going on for me to handle. However this shouldn't suggest that everyone who comes across this book will feel the same. This is probably just me.

A witch moves in, a lot of Seans stuff gets destroyed and this brings him up to the witches soon to be apartment. This is where Sean meets a shape-shifting Demon who Sean endearingly calls Soot. Again, this is where I had problems comprehending some of the next series of events. Things were happening and I had no idea what the hell was going on. Or why it was happening at all.

I won't go into TOO much detail but ultimately, things really do fall into place after all the chaos. Answers are found just past the halfway point. But as always, I am amazed by the sex this woman can write. You never really feel like you're reading the same thing. I'll admit there have been other books I just quickly scan through but when it comes to Sadie, I am all over it. I swear by the time I finished this book, I need a cigarette and a beer. I don't smoke and I don't like beer. So maybe I need to sit in front of a fan with my legs wide open to cool down because oof! This has gone places I've never been to before.

Looking forward to whatever comes next!

Loved this! I loved Soot’s snarkyness, I laughed ever time he destroyed something and Sean would freak, and then when he got his voice back and I found out why he was destroying things, well that was just too good. Just a warning, it does have a lot of sex which I usually hate, but it fueled this story so I wasn’t complaining this time. Loved the little twist at the end with TJ. I’m definitely looking forward to more.

Ott, kinda liked it. Some of the parts at the beginning could have done with some editing as there were long and needed to go on less. Like the authors voice.

This book read like someone took an interesting plot, shredded it beyond all recognition, poured in a frankly gratuitous (and at times laughably inaccurate) amount of gay sex/ tentacle porn and put the whole thing in the oven. What results is an abusive cycle of "this is good," "this is bad," "this is terrible," repeat. I feel like this turbulent structure is actually worse than just reading a fully bad novel, since with the the latter, there's nothing stringing me along with false promises. The main character had exactly zero redeeming qualities, time and time again returning like a broken record to pseudo-sadistic thoughts which read as more sociopathic than sexy. I wanted so badly to like him, a character with an endearing disability that we as readers can empathize with as he overcomes. Instead we get an undeveloped jerk vacillating between a rapist and a five year old. The "demon prince" existed solely as a vehicle for erotica, with absolutely no characterization or feeling, and "see: TJ" is in the dictionary next to "Too Stupid To Live."

Take all this and throw in some completely unnecessary elements (did Blake appear just to give the MC a disability?) and you have Mated to the Demon Prince, a book that's not worth it.

1 Star plus 1 Star the gay MC, who despite being a monster, did establish his gayness several times (maybe the one thing this book gets right).

Nah

Not 100% sure why this book has so manny positive reviews, don't get me wrong the author is talented. But the demon didn't care for Sean unfortunately. The demon uses Sean until he can't anymore then usually leaves him somewhere covered in seamen. Rinse repeat. Like there is no aftercare, you know move him to a bed maybe clean him up, nada. This is the rinse repeat of the book; Soot(demon) would destroy something then Sean would yell at him for ruining his apartment, then soot would use Sean then Sean would fall asleep and wake with an achey body. Rinse. Repeat. And throw in Sean telling soot he wasn't going to have sex with him then giving in EVERY TIME.

sadie sins is the aptly named queen of dirtybadwrong erotica that makes you go "what the fuck did i just read?!" afterwards but for some reason you can't help but like it, even if you feel a little guilty about it.

also she has a lot of her stuff on instafreebie so 👀👀

4 smutty stars

Porn, porn and more smutty porn. The sex scenes are off the charts, the first 65 to 70% of the book is really nothing but sex and some context of the characters but really no meat of the story. Then at 85% you get to the plot of the book. Which I personally feel should have been at the forefront of the story.

Mated to the Demon Prince by author Sadie Sins is the first book in the Hell Cat series. I found this to be an original take on demons and the like. There are some odd areas in this book well odd for me, but overall I really liked this story. It is fast paced, great character connection, and some hot as sin sex too, that kept me turning the pages wanting more.
In this world, there are demons, witches, familiars, and humans. It is a given that everyone accepts this well at least our characters do.
TJ is portrayed as the innocent character that Sean wants to desperately debauch.
Sean is a reserved stand-offish man who has a whole lot going on inside of him.
Throw in a demon and a well you get a trio that will keep you guessing as to what will happen next. Oh yeah did I mention the witch?
Well, when you want an original story that has plenty of heat and connection this is the book I recommend you pick up.

Welp, I’m going to hell. Started off being really cringy, I.T guy jerking off with his straight friend crush on the phone. Then it gets freaky with magic, and a demon with no boundaries. There’s sex, lots and lots of sex in every way and form. I have now met my freaky quota for a while. At this point I’m thinking there’s plot in here somewhere. Short appearance from an abusive ex and abandoned by the demon during conversion. It was all good up to the point of TJ. I felt sorry for the guy, he wants what’s best for his friend and then gets claimed without consent. Then the demon gets his voice back and it’s the classic mate and pregnancy stuff. I preferred Soot when he was silent. I’m on the fence with this one. Whole lot of crazy but the sex was hot. The blurb is pretty much a spoiler.

I read this a while ago. Don't know why I didn't rate or review it. I remember it was intriguing with a lot of smut. I think its set up for a sequel but unsure if it will have one.

Still recommend though since I remember enjoying the read.

Why you should never leave the apartment- or exactly why you should

This is a hot and heavy erotica with themes of nonconsent, mating heat, body changing, and tentacle kink. It runs along the line of too far and almost crosses it at times. It is dripping with sex and lust, tangled up in old hurts, and full of death threats. And I could not put it down.

As with any Sadie Sins book this is a tangled mess of being almost too much and absolutely just right. The lead in this, Sean, is a jerk of an IT guy. The world is strange, with magic and paranormals, and a murder and disappearance rate that is suspiciously high and weirdly ignored. Everything goes to help for Sean when a witch moves into his building and blows all of his tech. Really, everything had gone to help years before- left by his parents for being gay, hiding from an abusive ex, and in love with his very straight best friend, Sean projects jerk to the world. And, well, he is also a jerk. Well with his business going up in smoke he confronts the witch but to get suckered into a deal for money, which leads to him accidentally freeing her caged cat familiar- who decides to get real familiar with Sean whether he wants it or not. Suddenly Sean has a cat shifter boyfriend with horns destroying his apartment, weird biological changes, a desperate need for sex, and an unwanted mission to save the very witch who ruined everything. He never should have left the apartment.

This book is difficult to review in a way. As you can see above, there is an actual story to it all. Things are going on and the more Sean changes and is sucked into the paranormal world the bigger you realize those things are. Sean is absolutely a world class jerk, but he also has this side to him that wants love and is finding it in a twisted way with Soot. At the same time you can see his love for TJ, his best friend, except it is all twisted up is depraved sexual desire. This constant thread of eroticism is the core of the book, but the depravity also makes it such that it almost feels wrong to like the book. After all, Sean barely consents to having sex with Soot- he doesn't ever bottom and even seems a bit afraid, but Soot takes what he wants. Sean definitely didn't consent to his biology being changed, but Soot plows ahead with that too. Then, when they add another to the mix, there is no consent there, and the poor guy is so lost and broken. But on the flip side....Soot gives Sean the sexual attention and affection he has always wanted. He protects and cares for Sean. And the desires at the end twist all of that around. It is by no means a book for someone interested in sweet love and clear morals, but it is a sex laden ride that will hook you in deep and not let go.

WHAT happend??? The book was so good until close to the end! Ive never read about such a dysfunctional menage. The Demon only loves the MC and therefore accepts to turn the MCs unrequited straight love also into his mate. No way does the demon love the third wheel! Thats just sad... And the MC? He forces his best friend! He doesnt care that the demon only wanted the guy as a toy for his true Mate aka the MC. I feel so sorry for the straight best friend. Being forced by those two AND mated to a demon who only did it to make his true mate smile. Thats no healthy menage! One Star. Why did that had to happen at the end??? The book was so good till the last pages. I skipped because i just not cared for that forced actions. Poor straight „toy“ guy...

This was the first book I’ve read by this author. I loved it. And this book has a little of everything in it. Snark, humor, angst, action, drama, lust, chemistry between the characters and some really hot sex…really, really hot smoking sex.

Poor Sean. At the beginning of the book, his whole world is coming undone. In this world, magic and tech don’t mix. And a witch is moving in. His best friend and the star of all his lustful dreams is TJ. And TJ is innocent and possibly straight, and maybe or maybe not? Then add a demon and stir the pot. And watch the three of them work to get their relationship together.

Well written and very faced paced, the storyline keeps you moving through the pages. And for me, it was a one sitting read. The author has built the start to a wonderful world and has created some great characters. And I can’t wait to get back into this world.

WHAT. THE. HECK. DID. I. JUST. READ??!!?? The heck! I'm really not easily shocked or weirded out, but this book was disturbing, like seriously...
I'm done with this and I tried, for real. I read like up to 50% and didn't like it starting at like 5%... so yeah. Putting this series on my "no"-list.

Outrageously hot, but there really isn’t much of a plot to hang the sex scenes on. Bringing TJ into their weird relationship (?) bordered on rape. Cliffhanger ending.

I received this book by the author for a honest opinion.
When I read this book description I was quite excited as this sounded really interesting, demons, witches and as I like this genre I was happy to dive right in.
Sean is a nerdy computer worker who is confined to his building and has anxiety when he leaves his apartment due to an incident in his past. His only interaction with the outside world is from T.J his best friend and secret love interest. When a witch starts to move into his building and fries his technology as technology and magic do not go together he's hysterical and immediately calls T.J.
When the witch enters and a combustion happens injuring him he gets ushered up to the witches apartment where he encounters Soot who's a cat/pantha/demon and who just happens to turn his world upside down and bring trouble to his door.
I liked the character's especially Soot who was just so mischievous and naughty and there were quite a few funny bits that made me chuckle. This book was practically drenched with sex dialogue and though I enjoyed getting close ups of Soots humongous attributes and splitting tentacles I would of liked a bit more of the storyline to be more in the forefront as the author had a good idea and I would of liked to have heard more about Soots history and the witches. Little tendrils of plotlines weren't quite finished off for me but seems this is the first in the series maybe more will be explained in the second. I'm interested in finding out what happens next.

Sadie Sins is my new hero of dubcon.

I love everything about her poor, poor characters always and continuously being forced to have the best sex anyone has ever had. *gulps*

My hero of storytelling, she unfortunately is not.

Mated to the Demon Prince has a lot more plot than any of Sadie Sin‘s other books I’ve read, and well… it doesn’t exactly profit from it.

The sex, as usual, is absurdly hot. Even the weird stuff did it for me in a very wrong, very nonrealistic, very unexpected and very very guilty-pleasure-y way.

There’s a monster cock with ridges.
There’s two additional tail dicks. That can adapt their sizes. And/or restrain you.
There’s tentacles that can also apparently do very nice butt stuff.
There’s lots of dp with all of the above in various combinations. And a second monster cock. With ridges.

If you have a depraved mind that is into such things, you’re gonna be in weird sex fest heaven with this book.

But the story parts… well… they dragged. The book was repetitive and I didn’t get most of the characters motivation to do any of the things they did. I also didn’t like them very much tbh. The world building was wonky and confusing and chaotic and… meh, in the end I wouldn’t have needed most of it. And since the preview revealed that the sequel is going to have mpreg *shudders* in it, I don’t think I will continue this series.

I really should have read a couple review first, because I didn't know what I was getting into.

The first bit, I thought, well hell, that started with an attention grabber.
I was enjoying the set up for the story. Then thing got weird. Tentacle tails weird. Really hot tentacle tails weird. I was enjoying, until I wasn't. I was just about to dnf. I just wasn't in the mood for pure porn, when the story picked up again. So I held on. That little longer hooked me. I couldn't give up now.

It did get a lot of sex in again, but I was fine with that, until TJ. I kept wanting Sean to keep fighting to keep TJ safe. Once TJ was incorporated in, I was just waiting for Sean to turn on Soot.

The story was good. I think I'd like about 75-100 pages shorter. I was disappointed in the ending...and I was hard pressed to get to then end after the action was over. The ending dragged for me.

Idk how to rate this. 1/2 porny goodness. 3/8ths good story, kept me hooked. 1/8th WTF, NO!

This is definitely not your usual run of the mill story that's for sure and I absolutely loved the book for it.

The main characters are all very interesting and the dynamic between them was so fun to read. The characters are all interesting in their own rights, normally in a book I have a clear favourite but in this one, I am not sure who I like more Soot or Sean.

The sex scenes are really hot, but you need to be a bit open to something a bit more weird and wonderful to enjoy them, if you like plain vanilla it is definitely going to be the book for you and the author warns you about it in the book description.

Even though it has a lot of sex scenes there is still a good story running through the book and not just gratuitous sexy scene after scene. I enjoyed the story and was glad how things turned out.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the book and really can not wait until book 2.

MM Erotica/kind of a Romance.
I expected a short erotica novella. Instead I got full-length romance with a lot of erotica mixed in that was genuinely funny as well. I'm guessing noncon/dubcon and various levels of kink are expected with this author - the final sex montage veered strongly into the noncon, due to the POV. Oh and it starts out

This book is the literary embodiment of tentacle hentai, ahegao, and copious amounts of everything that accompanies those two things. Thank you Sadie Sins! This seems to take place in the same world as her Paranormal Academy for Troubled Boys series where magical creatures are hunted by nefarious magic users, enslaved or killed for parts/drained of life. Sean is a geeky IT guy who lives as a hikikomori with a not so irrational fear left to him from a former abusive relationship. Magnolia, a celebrity witch with schemes. Soot, a shape changing demon familiar worth millions. TJ, Sean's long time straight best friend whom he is tragically in love with. Small cast, but tons of action and So much mating, you won't be able to put it down. Seriously scorching stuff, heavy on the kink.

OMG!!!! I love a pwp story when the plot is good and the porn is even better. This book is soooo hot. The sex is off the charts hot. And, the storyline is really good, too. SQUEE!!! Damn, can you tell I'm excited? The dialogue is fun and cheeky and heated and sarcastic and sweet and hot and sometimes very very silent. I know, right??!?? There are demons and witches and panthers and gargoyles and dragons and regular everyday humans and nasty pussies or is that pussy's... Okay, there's a kitten or 2. It was great. I loved it. Bring on the next one.

There are a lot of physical and sexual triggers in this so if anything along those lines is an issue for you, definitely don't read this story.

Great Book But...

Okay, so I loved the storyline and the heat was amazing! The editing was well done, although the chapters weren't always clearly separated (sometimes the headers would show, sometimes they didn't). Totally worth the read! BUT...

While it ends on a (mostly) HFN, the second book was never written, leaving us just hanging and wondering what's going to happen to our trio. Great book, but if you want a true ending, maybe skip this one. If you don't mind a HFN instead of HEA, don't pass this book by! (I just wish someone would have told me before I got invested in the characters!)
