I picked Retrograde after losing in a free giveaway for it. I figured it was a good book for my eleven-year-old son. I read a few possible versions of the story and enjoyed it greatly. I am a child of the eighties, so all the pop culture references brought a smile to my face. My first round forced me to work with G. I. Joe, the greatest of all eighties cartoons. I’m sure my son will love it as well because he likes some of the old choose your own adventure books. It’s a great gift for a kid or a kid at heart.
