The Problem With Jack

Rate this book
Jack Preston, a deep cover, domestic operative directed by a small and secret Homeland Security field office in Beltsville, Maryland, is a quiet, easy to like kind of guy on the surface, an easy quiet that belies the deadly nature of his work. Below the surface lies a trained and disciplined menace his Government handlers believe they control. They selected him. They trained him. They conditioned him. They gave him a life he couldn't have possibly enjoyed without them. They also made the mistake of believing they could stop him when he became a liability.
