This was a quick read but an emotionally intense and complicated story. I haven't read the other books in the series so it took me a few pages to catch on, but I immediately liked the characters and the chemistry between them as well as how passionately they care for each other, in both romantic and family ways. I don't usually read much paranormal romance - especially ones with some steamy scenes like this one - but I was really engaged with the relationships and the world the author has created here. The intensity in the relationships reminded me of those in Twilight - not because of the paranormal aspect, but because of the emotional connections.

Wow Annie Buff is an incredibly talented writter who knows how to write in the paranormal genre. Her characters sizzle on the pages and always leave you craving for more. I can honestly say that every book I have ever read from this author I have absolutely loved. Nico's story is next and I'll be waiting for it with baited breath as I'm sure you will be too after reading this book.

This is Book 3 of the Annalese and the Immortals series. What a good story. We met Mak in Vlad’s story and I really did like him then. I’m so glad he got his story. Mak is a wolf shifter and was adopted into Vlad’s story in the previous book. He’s very shy with girls and gets tongue tied when he talks to them. He’s also quiet with most everyone else, too. Now we have a lot of supernaturals that are being killed and so they bring in Alexis (otherwise known as Alex) to help solve the mystery. This story is so sweet. We have a story that is a sweet romance with just enough bite to it to keep you interested in the story. This book grabs your heart and makes you feel like the characters are so real and could be a member of your family. They have good things and bad things happening and you want to just reach in and help them out. It might make you cry a little when Mak tells Nico about how he grew up. I know it will make you want to kick a little wolfy butt along the way. I voluntarily read and reviewed this story. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Annie Buff has done it again! I absolutely love Mak and Alex’s story. I’m so glad that Lachlan thought to call her to come and help with their problems. The minute Mak picks up her scent, he’s done for, lol. This story is told in such a way that you can just imagine being there. Of course, you know Annie Buff has to include her “wow moment” and she did that more than once. No spoilers from me, you will just have to read and find out. I’m already looking forward to what she has for us next! I know it will be fantastic regardless if it’s one of her MC stories or another one of her Immortals.

MAK

Annie has done it again with her Immortal series!! I thought Mak was so sweet before, now he's down right perfect! Alexis was brought in to help solve a problem, and her being a detective no one would question a female. She's one smart cookie and when she meets Mak, she knows he's the one. Lots of mystery and suspense wrapped up in a romance between them. I loved it, the scenes between Alex and Mak were sweet! The ending was everything I hoped it would be!! And what an ending!! Definitely need the next in the series Nico!!

Oh man, I loved this story. Mak is such a honey but a bit dangerous and Alex is his perfect match. This story has love, drama, danger and pure hotness. This book is the third in the series and I really enjoyed seeing Vlad and Lachlan again. The twists and turns combined with mystery keep the reader on her toes. Annie Buff is getting me hooked on this series and I can't wait for the next one in the series. No regrets reading this book, just want more!!

Loved the third book in this series, by Annie Buff!

Poor Mak is an alpha who never learned how to be one. When he finally meets his mate, his inner beast makes an appearance.

Alex is a great character and a wonderful addition to Vlad’s family. She is smart and sassy and fabulous support to the supernatural community.

It was wonderful to watch these two fall hard for each other, despite the turmoil going on at the castle.

So looking forward to Nico’s story!

Shyly amazing.

I have been waiting for what seems like forever to dive into this book! I absolutely love this series! Mak is so sweet and innocent but also such a badass wolf! Alex is the perfect mate for him! The way Vlad loves Mak and accepts him and has made him family is heartwarming!! I am so glad they’ve discovered who the threat was and took care of it!! Cant wait to see where this series goes with Nico!!!

Wow!

Annie's stories just get better and better! I just couldn't put the book down until I got to the end! Macs story was so sweet and yet sexy at the same time. Alex is going to be a great new character and bring lots to future books. If you love extremely sexy vampires and werewolves then your going to be hooked on Vlads family. 💖

Mak and Alex's story is Amazing! The plot has plenty of twist and turns, Tons of emotion, and every character will pull you in and make you feel as if you are right there in the castle with them!
This is An amazing series and this is A Must read in it!!!

Loved it

I loved Mak's story. I loved how shy and innocent he was. I'm coming around to Vlad after seeing how he was with Mak and Annalese as well with the way she treated Alex and helping he care for Mak. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these two and what will happen next.

I absolutely fell in love with Mak and Alex. Annie brings you characters that make you feel like you are there with them, going through the good times and bad. When they hurt you can feel it in the pit of your stomach. There isn't a book I've read by Ms. Buff that I haven't loved. She just gets it!

Loved this book. Mak who is a wolf shifter is hired to help Vlad Tepes. But when he is offered a gift he becomes Vlad's adopted son. Meeting. Alexis while he hides what he feels is embarrassing from his family. Together they work to find who is killing those of Castle Dracula.

I really enjoyed this story. With each book I read I see more growth in this author’s stories. Mak and Alex are getting their HEA and they surely deserve it. I enjoyed seeing the whole gang from the previous books. I look forward to reading Nico’s story. Well done!

The wolf from book 2 finds his mate a human from the state's and an investigatior with the supernatural agency. But there more trouble coming but there family can handle it.

Annie Buff just blew other vampire books out of the water. This book is going to be a hard act to follow. If they can follow at all. I loved the other 2 books in this Immortal series. But this book, just raised the bar so high I honestly don't think other books can compare to it. I fell in love with Mak when he was brought into book 2. There was something about the way the author wrote about him that just pulled at my heart. I have been trying all day to figure out how to explain how amazing this book is. What I will say is, when an author can make a reader fall in love with a character and want to read a book over and over. To me that takes an amazing author. And this author has done just that. The story has such amazing characters and a plot full of twist and turns. It also has love, family, faith, trust, lies, laughter and so much more.The love between Mak and Alex is so sweet and it will make you smile. This book has everything I love in a book. And I can guarantee I will read it again and again. I recommend this book as a must read. And I want to congratulate Author Annie Buff for writing one of the best books I have ever read. !!!!!! If you want a book that will stay on your mind, make you smile when you think about it. This is the book for you !!!!!
