Banks Sisters

The Banks Sisters Complete

Rate this book
Death, deception, and the surprise introduction of a long-lost family member keep the drama on full blast in the pages of The Banks Sisters Complete by urban fiction susperstar Nikki Turner.

Meet the Banks sisters--Mona, Bunny, Tallhya, and Ginger. One of the only things they have in common is their love for their beloved grandmother, Me-Ma. When tragedy strikes and Me-Ma has a heart attack at church, the sisters are shocked to discover that she left the house and all her money to the church. Now the pastor wants them out, unless they can come up with the money to buy the house from him. To make matters worse, Bunny already owes over a hundred thousand dollars to a very dangerous man.
The sisters devise a plan that could have them rolling in plenty of dough--as long as they can stay one step ahead of law enforcement that's on the lookout for a group of female bank robbers who have burst onto the scene. Things become even more complicated when their mother shows up, threatening to snitch them out if they don't give her a cut, and Pastor Cassius Street refuses to follow through on his promise to return the house to them.
The situation becomes a bloody mess, and now the sisters must band together in ways they never thought possible as they deal with a growing mountain of problems. Only time will tell if these sisters can stay one step ahead of the circumstances they unwittingly create.

After Nikki Turner read The Coldest Winter Ever by Sistah Souljah she was dismayed that there weren't other books like it. "I wanted to write the kinds of books I wanted to read," said the bestselling author, whose 2002 debut novel, A Hustler's Wife, would go on to sell more than a few 100,000 copies.
While Nikki Turner's first two novels were published by a small publishing house in the Midwest, in 2004 she signed a 2-book deal with One World, an imprint of Ballantine Books, which is part of The Random House Publishing Group. After publishing the first book under that deal, The Glamorous Life in 2005 as well as a short story collection edited by Nikki, Street Chronicles: Tales from da Hood, One World quickly signed Nikki up for three more Nikki Turner Original novels and negotiated a deal with her for her own book line, Nikki Turner Presents. "I want to give new authors the same kind of opportunity I was given," said Nikki. "I want to produce authors who will be household names."

Wait a minute!! This book is The Bank Sisters series 1 - 3. Not a book 4?! No wonder when I started reading there were characters alive that had died previously and I thought MAYBE it was going back in time. Finally, I stopped to read the reviews and take a look at the table of contents. Very misleading and the publishing date is after the last book. Read it if you haven’t read the three book series. If you have read the three book series, don’t bother.

There were so many twists and turns in this damn book! The Banks sisters should be called the Drama Thriller Crew! I need to know when Part 4 will be written and released because Wolfe is definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing. And Bunny? Still alive? And Chase...knows?

I liked these books until the ending left all of these cliff hangers making you have to wait until the next book/book set. i mean really it was three books for this story! The need and desire to get money should not be EXTENDED AND EXPLORED to such an extent.

The first 3 books were amazing! The last book was a big disappointment. After being hooked on the first 2 books, I gave up on the third book

This book is big as hell lol, but I loved it. Despite how many pages this book has, I read it SO fast. That just tells you how good this book is!

The first book was interesting. The second, I couldn’t really get past all of the grammatical/editing errors and stopped on the second or third chapter. DNF.
