A"Gift of the Magi" at ComicCon

Tasha Black channeled her inner O Henry to give us a sweet and sexy tale of love and sacrifice, starring shy graphic novelist Beatrix, and Buck, gorgeous undercover alien from Aerie. Beatrix, with Buck and friends, is 'on' at ComicCon Baltimore, where she's trying to build her fan base and secure funding for the movie adaptation of her cult hit graphic novel. Buck, who's on the run from the human science lab in Stargazer, PA is along, trying to blend in until he 'clicks' with Beatrix and can be her forever human mate and lover. She's not so sure that's gonna happen. Strange exhibits, wild parties, drawing classes, intergalactic gladiators, and a nasty vengeful Hollywood big-wig are only a few of the odd obstacles in their way. The real issue is that Beatrix is too shy to handle the celebrity of an alien hubby ('cause every woman wants one, don't you know) and Buck needs to lay low (Hello - escaped from a lab, remember?) but ... No spoilers. Just know that author Tasha Black's HEA for this one would do O Henry proud, not to mention making readers just deliriously happy.

This is Bea's and Buck;s story and i can tell you that once more the author has given us a great addition to the series.
I loved the scene building and the images the author painted.
I loved Buck and Bea.
I love that the author finds the uniqueness in each couple and skillfully transfers it into the book pages and then to us.
A great addition to the series!!!!

Door To Love.....

Buck never imagined that this new and wonderful world he was thrust into would be so wonderful and he loves to interact with everyone around him they are all so friendly and willing to get to know him. Problem is the one he really wants to be outgoing and giving to him is the less likely to do it and he makes it his mission on earth to bring her out of her shell and learn how wonderful for the world she is, but especially for him . Even if that means putting himself out there for the woman he's fallen in love with.

Beatrice is as introvert as a person can get, the only way she knows to interact with people is through her comics and she's even having a problem getting her message out there that way... Only person that seems to get it is Buck and it seems she's managing to push him away too. He doesn't want to be in the limelight and that may just be where she's putting him.

Will these two lovebirds come to realize that sacrifices are made for love all the time?

Buck: Stargazer Alien Mail Order Brides #11 Intergalactic Dating Agency
by Tasha Black
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a totally delightful book!! Beautifully and whimsically written and the characters... if I wasn't already die hard fan I would immediately become a fan!! I have read all of her Stargazer Alien Mail Order Brides books to date, and I find it could not help but be appealing to readers who enjoy this genre... As an adult, I found it completely enchanting, stimulating and fun! It focus on Buck and Beatrix as they come to turns with their feelings for each other.
Tasha Black is a brilliant author, Her stories always bring so much fun and laughter into my reading. I really I mean really enjoy her Alien romance well actually I absolutely enjoy reading any book she writes and this one is just downright brilliant. This is a charming hot and steamy story so it's perfect for her book it's a delightful book to read and as with all of her books I'm a little bit sad to see it end, but I still enjoyed it and I'm already aching to read it again. The characters and the descriptions are absolutely beautiful as well. I think I enjoyed this book just as much as eating my favorite candy (chocolate). After I read the entire book, I decided that's this is one of my favorite series of all." The writing is sweet and descriptive and the characters are adorable. It's a high quality of words that makes each chapter entertaining and a easy read. I'm so glad that I as a reader got to know Tasha Black as a author and to read her books, I would definitely recommend this book!

This is Buck and Beatrix's story. If you haven't read Kirk's book, you should read that first. Bea is a graphic artist who has gotten a big break. She has a chance to bring one of her novels to the big screen and her friend Kate has agreed to star in it. Unfortunately, Kate had a stalker whose father was one of Beatrix's money men and now he has pulled out since she refused to allow his son to appear as Kate's love interest in the movie. Now she has to find some new funding and that will not be easy since it seems the man is blackballing her. The only thing going right is her growing friendship with Buck. Buck is an alien who has taken human form and come to Earth with his brothers looking for a mate. Bea is not down with the whole mating forever thing, but she and Buck get along well and he has been a big help to her at the conventions.

Buck knows that Bea is his mate and now he just has to convince her of that. He hopes to help her find new funding for her movie, but the only one interested in helping her is an actor named Dirk Malcolm. But it seems that Bea has a crush on the man and Buck is jealous when they go off to lunch together, especially when he is told that Dirk is a lady's man. He gets a gig working as a Gladiator and hopes to impress Bea with his fighting prowess. Hmmm.

I was given a copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

💢Wowzer I'm sure loving these Aliens. Ms. Tasha has me hooked that's for sure. This book captivates you from the first page, to the last-full of magic and your dream boyfriend.

🔹️Beatrix who is a graphic novelist and loves working with kids. Beatrix knows how hard it can be. Trying to make a movie from her book "Door to Everywhere" that is if they can get funding. The movie staring her friend, Katie Bly who was a child actress, her other friend Cecily is a make-up artist they all lived together. When Katie's friend Rima ask for help with three alien, the six of them seem to come together nicely, they were going to travel from one city to another, the comic convention.

🔹️Buck is an Alien from the Planet Aerie him and his brother's Solo and Kirk arrived at Rima's friends apartment and Buck had eyes for Beatrix. Everywhere they went Buck wanted to be with Beatrix he wanted to impress her, but how? Intergalactic Gladiators?

💥I have voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my own and honest.

Bea has written and illustrated a graphic novel called, Doorway to Everywhere. She lost part of her funding for the Movie and had just a few day to get more. She tried a couple places but it was a no go. Buck watched from the sidelines and tried to help when he could. Bea was given the opportunity to give classes on her illustrating at the Con. These sessions were for the kids and parents could watch. She is not comfortable speaking in front of people. Buck got it started when she panicked and got the classes moving with the kids. This made Bea's heart grow bigger with affection and maybe love.
The girls saw an attractive actor in the crowd named Dirk. He came over to Bea and asked her to lunch so they could talk about the movie. She did not invite Buck along. He got jealous and decided to go to a party he was invited to. Bea got jealous.
Jealousy was putting a strain on their relationship. Do they get together in the end? Does Bea get her movie funded? Does Buck get to become human? Do their souls finally meld together into one? You can find all this and more out, even gladiators, as you read and devour this eleventh book in the Stargazer series. I received this book for free for a totally honest review.

3 aliens have been sent to live with 3 women who are friends thier to teach them about earth, help them fit in, keep them safe and hopefully find them nice women to mate with. The men have thier eyes set on the 3 women. But will it work?
Beatrix li is a graphic novel artist. She is shy and doesn't deal will with others. She is about to have her book turned into a movie if she can get funding. It's becoming harder then she thought.
Buck is from out of the world literally. He is from Aerie. He and his brothers came to earth to experience life here to do that they have to fall in love, connect turn completely human have kids the whole thing.
Buck has picked Bea he knows she is the one now he just has to convince her! His brother was able to convince his chosen. Kirk and Kate are happy he wants that too.
This was really cute. I loved the characters. The guys are so confused on earth life lol. It has drama, fun and spice. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to see what happens to the next brother. If your into science fiction romance you will love this one.
Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.

Another Alien romance that combines humor and a sweetness along with the very manly newcomer to earth. Underlying the romance and finding their human mate, there is a serious consequence for failure.

Buck is hot. Really hot. He is also totally devoted to Beatrix. How to deal with new emotions including jealousy is not an easy task. His efforts could have dire consequences to not only him.
Her shyness doesn't match her artistic talent. Can she move on in her career with the movers and shakers to further that career and a what cost?

When they both work at odds to help the other it is an awakening to their feeling--but will it be too late?

One thing you can count on from Ms. Black's stories, you'll find touching characters that you'll fall in love with while you read about their romance. Another book that brings a smile to your face at the end of the story.

I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

Hold on tight for another fun, entertaining roller-coaster ride in the fantastic world of Stargazer, Alien Mail Order Brides! This latest lovable alien is “Buck” and what a phenomenal book that grabbed me from the start & held on tight through the end! ... Tasha Black consistently exceeds my expectations with each new story she writes as she breathes life into her characters. Contemporary romance that sizzles, a bit of suspense, a touch of PNR; Witty dialogue, well defined, relatable characters and amazing attention to detail will keep readers engaged & turning pages! Even tho I volunteered to read this in advance, I also bought my own kindle book to keep in my favorites forever folder :) So yes, I honestly recommend this to adult fans of fiction and I can’t wait for more, but I will!

There's always that one book in a series that stands out for whatever reason and in this series this is the one for me, well so far. Beatrix needs to find funding for her movie since her biggest backer left but is running into walls. She needs to focus on this, it doesn't help she's a true introvert, and not her growing feelings for Buck . Buck wants to help Beatrix and is by just being by her side but wants to do more but will more put him more in the limelight?

This book touches on different subjects that a reader can relate to in subtle ways, especially at the end. And there's the heat that she likes to throw in. In all a definite must read book in this series! I received a copy under no obligation

Love this series!!!!!!

I'm in love with these characters! I only wish these aliens were real so I could get one of my own!! LoL! Buck and Bea are wonderful. The interaction and emotions run the spectrum in all these books. How these aliens have to click with their human women and become human themselves is great reading! I'm simply in love! I would definitely and highly recommend this entire series to anyone who enjoys a bit of alien with their romance. Ms. Black knows how to write a story and you won't want to put it down!!!

I could definitely use a Buck! :) His determination to help Beatrix was one of the most risky so far in this series. His gift is indeed special and his method to draw her is so out of his character that even his brothers could see his disinterest. She already notices him, she is just a little career-focused. He balances her, calms her, boldly makes his intentions toward her known and takes him time convincing her that he will have no other. Another great addition to this series!

Buck

This is the 11th book in the stargazer mail order brides. I really like the intergalactic dating agency book, but the stargazer mail order brides are my favorite.

Buck has chosen his mate Bea, who is a graphic novelist on her way up. She has a chance to turn her novel into a movie. Bea likes Buck, but can’t have a relationship right now with all that is going on in her life. Buck tries his best to win her, including being a gladiator in a tournament.

The group are setting up in another town for another Comic Con. Beatrix is trying to find some more money for her film. Her main investor dropped her when she wouldn't let him bully her into casting his creepy son, Spencer Carson as the lead actor. He has been stalking Kate Henderson for too long & she is the lead actress. They all get settled in there new place for now, Kate's agent, Carol, has found them some really good places for all of them to stay. They take the supplies to the Con, Bea is told there is an open place for her. The person who usually does it is sick. It is a drawing class for kids. A lot of people going by have told her they have read her book & heard about it being made into a movie. She has been told all over how everyone likes it. Buck stays back mostly so he can just watch his chosen one with pride. It starts out a little rough, Bea somewhat shy, she freezes. Buck steps in to talk around to the kids & help Bea get back to herself. They get the class up & going. Buck is about to ask her about going for lunch. An actor Dirk Malcolm, comes in to ask her to go to lunch with him. Buck says they can go. Dirk just wants Bea, he wants to privately talk shop with her. She agrees. Buck wanders out trying to keep is odd emotion, jealously, under control. It was said she had a big crush on the man while she was a teenager. While they are eating Dirk offers to be in the film, much to her excitement. He also informs her that the reason she has gotten no more investors is because Carson Sr. is blackballing her. She just decides that she will have to look harder. While they are having lunch, Buck meets some men dressed up as gladiators, one of them gives him a good look over, decides he is the right size. He asks him is he would like to make a few bucks? They are part of the entertainment, one of their guys is sick. Buck decides to try it out when he hears it passed around that the winner might win his lady's hand. They go into the working out & trying out weapons for the tournament. He is invited to a party. He wants to make Bea jealous, so he has Angel the female gladiator agree to come by their place tonight & pick him up. The day gets done & they go home. The guys try to talk him out of it. It doesn't work. They then have to take some time off to go shopping because none of them have any clothes suitable for a party. They get back, & get dressed. Buck tells everyone he is going to a party with Angel. She comes to get him, & says the guys can come if they want. They decide to go keep an eye on Buck. The girls stay home for some wine, pizza & movies. They get home late, & Buck sees Bea sleeping on the couch. The next morning, they are at the Con again, Bea has an even smoother day. The tournament didn't work out as well as Buck planned. He was off the platform quickly, so he didn't win his Lady's hand. As Bea is walking with Ester Martine, one of the major investors, hoping for some good news. She tells her, she liked the book but she will not back the film. She tells Bea to write another great book, that one, she will back. Bea goes back to her booth trying to figure out what to do. While Ester is walking past Buck talking to someone he hears her say she would back 10 of Bea's films if she could get an interview one of the stargazer aliens. He rushes by Dirk to catch up to her. Dirk stops him. He has figured out what he is. Buck finds out Dirk has no interest in Bea. Dirk tells him, he better talk to her first, she doesn't seem like the kind of woman to want to use someone to get what she wants. Buck tells him he is going to get her the money for the film. Dirk gives him an extra cell phone & numbers for reporters. They part ways. Dirk meets up with Bea at the other end & tells her about how Buck is going to expose himself to get her the money for her film. She runs to him to stop him. When she finds him, she tells him she doesn't want him to do that. He tells her he has already made the calls. They hurry to Cecily's booth. When the women come in & tell them reporters are everywhere, Bea & Buck are sent home. They ask the guys to go down to the cafe out of sight. Cecily dresses Kate up in a magnificent alien costume she has been working on. She sends her out to model it, when the LED lights lit the transparent scales they were sewn into, they almost make her disappear. She is said to be the Night Bird out of Bea's film. Some of the reporters are not happy because they don't like being lied to. They were expecting a real alien! Buck & Bea are finally relaxing enough to get together. While they have the place to themselves Buck asks Bea to be his mate & she accepts. The next day the tournament is on, Buck wins the first round. The next one, he has to go up against Angel. To fast, he doesn't do very good & is off the platform. When this is over Bea goes back to her booth to close up. She sees one of the kids, she had worked with. Her mother had been very pleased. She informs Bea they had both been happy with her. Her name is Marjorie Anderson, Founder / CEO of Jensen Bio Tech. She tells Bea to get a hold of her & tell her what ever she needs. She has no worry about Carson Sr. She will back Bea's film! What ever is needed, she will provide. Bea so happy, aside from already liking the kid asks her if she would like to come help on the set? The Kid, Hailey is more than happy to agree. Everyone are one their way out, happy as can be. I really like it.

Beatrix has been shy and introverted her whole life. She has an amazing talent in communication just not public speaking. Buck has fallen hard for Bea. He’s willing to sacrifice himself to help Bea. There is misunderstanding and confusion since neither Bea nor Buck is experienced in the finer art of relationships. They both share the love of art. You’ll find that blacklisting has roots.

Alien mail order brides. The setting is a series of ComCons. This is Buck and Bea's story. An alien finding his way and a graphic artist seeking her future. A romance, friendship, and another voyage of discovery. A standalone story but so much better when read in a series. Love the series. Bravo!!

The Artist and the Alien. Buck immediately wants Bea for his mate. He is the opposite of her as he is an extrovert. But even shy Bea learns from Buck as he helps her at the Comic con. After a lot of obstacles, they click and get their happily ever after.

Buck is the second in the mini-trilogy featuring the three Aerie brothers seeking their mates at a ComicCon, the 11th installment of the Stargazer Alien Mail Order Brides series—and a part of the larger, multi-author Intergalactic Dating Agency series—and features Buck and Beatrix, both introduced in Kirk.
Beatrix is a graphic novelist, content to draw and write, thrust into the spotlight because her novel is a huge hit and she’s in talks for adapting it to film. And though Buck is an absolute extrovert, she’s surprisingly comfortable with him. His efforts to learn more about his new world and interact with people go quite well. Except with Beatrix, who insists on resisting his advance. Even when they start making progress, she ends up pulling back again.
Because despite his extroverted nature, Buck has expressed a desire for privacy in his life. Which is something Bea can’t promise him, not when she’s being propelled further into stardom as she makes progress with investors for her movie. And even though she lost a major investor when her friend Kate announced her interest in taking on the starring role, she’s optimistic about her chances of recouping the funds. Chances which would multiply exponentially if she were known to be affiliated with a Stargazer alien. Which Bea would never do, especially to Buck, who she cares about and doesn’t want to ruin the dreams of.
I really enjoyed Buck, and loved seeing him find his way in his new world. His efforts to win over Bea are earnest, and adorable, and it’s pretty much impossible not to ship them from the start, even when her childhood crush on movie star Dirk Malcolm seems like it might come between them. And seeing just how willing they both are to sacrifice their own dreams so that the other can achieve their own only makes it that much easier to root for them to find their way together. I’m definitely looking forward to reading Solo next and seeing how things work out between him and Cecily! This trio of Aerie aliens hiding out on the ComicCon circuit and finding love with a group of friends whose work immerses them firmly in the realm of Sci-fi expertly walks that line between an obvious hiding place and almost TOO obvious of a place for aliens on the run to find refuge
