A MUST read if you are thinking about or planning to breed dogs. Dr. Rice gives his opinion and advise freely and without prejudice to dog enthusiasts. To date this is in my opinion the best and most informative book I have found on this subject.

This book helped me through the whole whelping process, but actually begins prior to mating. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to know more about dogs and especially if they're considering breeding.

This is a whole new world to us as our little Macy is pregnant with her 1st (and only) litter. The whole dog reproductive system is fascinating and this book has helped us figure out what is going on.
