Same pros and cons as first three books
Pros:
Liked the characters
Author makes you feel empathy for the characters
Truly emotional moments
Interesting lead in for what appears to be next likely couple
Cons:
Too much variance from accepted shifter and vampire mythology—it really causes dissonance for the reader plus it makes the plot line seem weak...like the author’s couldn’t think of another way to move the story forward so let’s just say vampires can get shot and die. (As one example)
Vague plot lines that are not fully explained
Once again anti-climatic ending for the villains

Great paranormal romance series!!
I read the first 3 books in this series courtesy of Hidden Gems and I was hooked!! I just had to read 4th book 'Forbidden Addiction' so I got the bundle on Kindle Unlimited which has all 4 books that are out so far. I'm really hoping that this series continues because there's a lot more story left. If you like hot paranormal romance with action/suspense/steam don't miss this series but start with book one 'Forbidden Blood' for greatest enjoyment because the series is connected from book to book. Enjoy!!😜

Different...but good!
A much different take on vampires and shifters than I've ever read before. I loved how much detail was put into the descriptions of the different species, so you really feel immersed in the story and that world.
While I loved all the couples, I think Damien and Payton were my favorites. And I hope the next book in the series tells more about Quentin and Hunter.

This is a really interesting series of paranormal romances. I really liked the characters. The author took the time to develop the characters and it really pays off. Each book has a different tone which makes it interesting too. I enjoyed all the stories and recommend the series.
