Sabrina:
Good guys save the day and criminals go to jail. It's not rocket science, people.

But then my father's killed, I'm rescued by a thief, and my worldview is shattered. He takes me to his penthouse. His bed. I don't have to like it but I can't help it. His touch is everything a good girl like me shouldn't want.

Anson: Good and bad mean nothing to a master thief. I take what I want, and what I want is vengeance. No more, no less.

Maybe the girl can help, so I'll hide her. Protect her. And if I have to manhandle her to keep her quiet, she'll deal. Hell, she might even like it. But she'll learn fast that I make the rules.

3.5 stars!

The minute I read the blurb to Knave I knew I had to read it. This story sounded like a cross between a hot erotic novel and Ocean's Eleven. I enjoyed Ansel and Sabrina and all of the side characters in the story amd could not get enough! This was an enjoyable read!

While I did feel like this story had a slow start, I enjoyed Knave and the first book in the Masters of Manhattan series. Ansel and Sabrina had hot chemistry and the BDSM elements made this story even sexier. The other members of the team were equally gripping and intriguing and I can't wait to read their books. Bravo! 3.5 stars! Ratula

Knave takes a refreshing look at a dominant man, a submissive woman, and a group of former criminals who all have a new purpose in life. Each of them have lost someone in what appeared to be an accident, but was really murder and their goal is to take down the person or persons responsible.

Anson Daly, a talented second story man is investigating the office of one of the key players in the game when he comes across a dead body-and a live one. The live one turns out to be Sabrina Fowler, daughter of the suspect, who recently died in prison. Anson takes her back to their rooms and after some false starts, Sabrina realizes she is also a victim of the mystery group and wants to be part of the investigation.

As the mystery unfolds, so does the romance between Anson and Sabrina. But can he keep her safe while finding the people who murdered his mother-and were responsible for her father's death?

I liked Anson, except for the fact he was a thief. But that is explained by the fact that he had to support his mom and himself at a young age-think a reformed adult Artful Dodger. Sabrina proves herself to be canny and determined, and a real asset to the group. There are some surprising plot twists and turns and some steamy sex scenes. Don't expect the normal BDSM club scenes; the BDSM is much lighter and there is no club in sight.

This book is a rousing start to the Masters of Manhattan series.

Sabrina ♥ Anson! I really loved them as a couple and the story was a good one. Steamy, with a nice dose of adventure and crime mystery. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I loved this story. It has mystery, hot men, a strong independent woman, bad guys, and a little rough sex. I mean what more can you ask for?

Five men are asked to become something they never thought they could, brings you to the start of this book. In this book, we meet all five of them Ethan, Caelan, Xavier, Walker, and our main guy Anson. All of these guys have their own special talent that is needed to go forward with their mission, but none of them expected a woman to get in the way.

Sabrina's father ends up being murdered in jail. While she is at her father's office she finds herself locked in a closet and when someone finds her it ends up being Anson. These two are like oil and water. Nothing is right between them unless they are in the bedroom. It takes time for them to find a rhythm. But once they do, they are music.

This is a great story and I was happy to have read it for my honest review. I will say it does hang on a cliffhanger for the story, but not for the love story. I can't wait to see where we go next.

Knave is a new series by the writing duo of Jane Henry and Maisy Archer. The minute I read the blurb to Knave I knew I had to read it. It sounded so incredible and sexy. It sounded like a really good spy read and a hot erotic BDSM story. I will say the book had a super slow start, the storyline did not disappoint. The book seemed to pick up steam about 55 % into the book and just kept the momentum, going from strength to strength. I enjoyed Ansel and Sabrina story, and all the secondary characters that were introduced which look like they will be getting their own stories in future books. I enjoyed Knave and the first book in the Masters of Manhattan series. Ansel and Sabrina had sizzling chemistry and the premise of this book was believable. Overall, great new series , just hope the next story isn’t so slow.

My Rating: 4.2 stars *****

What an amazing start to a new series by these two authors. Sabrina is a strong woman who wants to know what really happened to her father. Anson is a Dom who is part of a special group called The Masters. He is looking for who killed his mother. When these two get together, the chemistry is off the charts. Together, along with the other Masters, they slowly start to unravel the mystery of what is going on. The story is so engaging that you can't put it down until you finish it. I loved all the other Masters and can't wait for their stories!!

The writing duo of Jane Henry and Maisy Archer are now elevated to Super Heros
in my eyes. They never disappoint and this new series is a definite winner.Despite
my best efforts to slowly enjoy this book, i devoured it.The story is spine tingling
good, what girl would not want five, dominant, sexy, protective men by her side. Each
of the men are specialist individually, but together are unstoppable.Drawn together
by a common experience, the Masters will not stop until they find the people responsible
for the death of their loved ones.Anson, cat burglar extraordinaire, comes up empty
handed when he breaks into the office of the late Stuart Fowler.A dead security officer
and a open safe, were not the only surprises Anson found.Hiding in the closet was
feisty Sabrina Fowler, she did not appreciate being tied to a stranger while scaling
down the outside of a building.Sabrina puts up a struggle but the Masters convince her
he stay in the Penthouse under their protection.Anson is no saint,he started his life of
crime as a child. He also was not one for relationships, that is until he is knocked on his
butt by Sabrina.Sabrina was no pushover, she held her own against Anson, but could
rely on him to take control and give her the pain she needed to escape her hurt.I loved
dynamics not just between Anson and Sabrina but also the love- hate relationship with
all the Masters.Their compacity to think on their feet, and handle just about any crisis,
kept me riveted to the last page.I am in love with this book,it has something for everyone's
tastes.A mix of James Bond and Murder She Wrote. The plot includes mystery, murder,
corrupt evil forces, high octane sex scenes, mild BDSM,mayhem and delicious men who
combine their skills to defeat evil.

Masters of Manhattan, Book #1. A beauty, five beasts, and an unsolvable quest are irresistible!

Anson Daly, street name Saint, thief extraordinaire, and four complete strangers show up at a penthouse on Park Avenue. How does this involve him? As he soon learns, everything! Seems he's not the only one suspicious of his mother's death. The others have also lost loved ones under circumstances that have been hushed up. There've never been answers. For her own reasons, billionaire Eugenia Carmichael's hot on the trail of whomever's responsible. There's just one problem. Eugenia's been taken out of the equation. So why the mystery summons? Cagier than anyone could have known, Eugenia's videotaped will changes everything. Leaving the five Masters her entire estate opens opportunities they could never have imagined. But six months later, the Masters still have no leads. That all changes when information drops in their laps changing everything. Is this truly what they seek? Breaking into an office and retrieving the information should be a piece of cake, especially for Anson. But a dead body, a safe already riffled. the information they need already gone? Could things get worse? Oh, yes! When Anson stumbles on Sabrina Fowler hiding in a closet, he reacts instinctively. Rappelling four floors to the street isn't Sabrina's idea of a rescue. Does she have a choice? Her father and the man protecting her are dead. She wants answers too. But can she be trusted? Who's side is she on? Her father was far from a choirboy. Add in the white-hot, irresistible attraction between Anson and Sabrina despite the anger and mistrust between them, and a powder keg with the power to blow up the entire op is now front and center. Exactly what does Sabrina want? Maybe the better question is can Sabina trust Anson or any of the other Masters? One thing is clear. The sexual tension between Anson and Sabrina isn't going anywhere. Everything the Masters have worked so hard for has the potential to collapse around them. As lead after lead implodes, is Sabrina responsible?. Are the Masters being manipulated? Is there any way this can end in other than complete disaster? When Anson screws up an op in the worst way possible, it's only a matter of time before every Master, perhaps even Sabrina, are exposed. Where does the truth lie? One thing is clear. No one's above suspicion, and the outcome may just be the end of the Masters!

This book is a thrill ride from beginning to end. I never knew from one moment to the next who was going to do what or why. Each Master has an agenda. Nothing is what it seems. That these five men can cooperate, build a legitimate business, conduct a covert mission, and hold their own against each other is nearly impossible. Even a common goal is barely enough for them to cooperate. When Sabrina is unwillingly thrown into the mix, all bets are off. She's a feisty, independent, single-minded woman who's not about to kowtow to the wishes of a bunch of dominant men. Uncontrolled chaos ensues. Every one of these people is there for a very different reason. The Masters may be united by a common goal, but they couldn't be more different. Xavier, de facto and self-appointed leader, is arrogant to the point where I absolutely hated him at times. Ethan is the brilliant geek who only seems able relate to his computers and hacking, oblivious to everyone around him. Caelan. hulking giant, has a fierce outward appearance hiding soul-deep strength and beauty. He was by far the easiest for me to relate to. Walker may just be the most enigmatic. But it's Anson and Sabrina who're the soul of this story. Neither wants anything to do with the other. The scorching heat between them is the last thing they want or need. In my opinion, the unrelenting suspense, constant conflicts, steamy sexual encounters, and complete unpredictably of this book makes this Jane Henry and Maisy Archer's best work since their Boston Doms series. I couldn't put this book down. Congrats, Ms. Henry and Ms. Archer. This book deserves so much more than five stars! It's truly a masterpiece!

A final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the authors. They work hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to a book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the authors an extreme disservice.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

KNIGHTS-IN-TARNISHED-ARMOR

As a fan of the dynamic writing duo of Jane Henry and Maisy Archer, I was excited when I saw that they had a new series, Master of Manhattan, and couldn’t wait to get into the book. I had it on pre-order and was counting down the hours until it released. The story did not disappoint, and I am already excited for the next book in the series.

Who are the Masters? Well, they are five men who inherited a penthouse, a fortune, and enough information to jointly go after a group of criminals who have killed and destroyed many people, good people. But why these five men? Because each one of them lost someone important to them by the same people, and in her dying wish, it was for these men to make justice happen to the guilty, not necessarily through legal means, but however they need to complete their task. Each man is known for their various skill sets, and that doesn’t necessarily mean honest work.

How it all starts, they will each receive an invitation to the penthouse, and watch a video by their benefactor, Eugenia Carmichael, widow of Federal Judge Trevor Carmichael. Anson Daly, lost his mother, Ethan Warner, his twin brother, Caelan Jamison, his fiancé, Walker Smith, his best friend, and Xavier Malone, his sister. “These five men are powerful—skilled—driven.”

The plot will have the men making plans to break into the late Stuart Fowler’s office with the hopes of getting into his safe and retrieving evidence. That very evidence may also be connected to his murder while incarcerated. Anson will get inside the office building, but when he does, something is off, getting into Fowler’s office will find an empty safe and a dead security guard, but then he hears a sneeze, and that will lead him to Sabrina in a closet. Anson must remove Sabrina and take her back to the penthouse where they learn more about her, her father, and now she is under their protector.

The story is a game of cat and mouse, good versus evil, and all while the clock is ticking down. Sabrina is in jeopardy, her catering business will have to be placed on hold, and those she thought she could trust may not be as trustworthy as she believed. Now she is living in the penthouse under the protection of the masters, especially Anson. With her help, they may be able to uncover some evidence, but she can’t do it alone.

The story is an on-the-edge-of-your-seat page-turning tale that has a great cast of characters, and plenty of action, mystery, suspense, danger, and angst. The chemistry between Sabrina and Anson sizzles off the pages when they are together. She craves his control and dominance, and he is just the man to give it to her. The story has many discipline scenes along with explicit sex.

“Risk was inherent in any job I’d ever done. I’d understood that from the beginning, and I used to live for the thrill of it. Now I understood that the risk was only worthwhile when you knew what—and who—you were risking yourself for. The best and truest things in life weren’t the ones that could be stolen, they were the ones you earned, and the ones bestowed on you even when you didn’t deserve them at all.”

Meet The Masters Of Manhattan

Sabrina is about to meet the Masters, she is in her deceased father's office when she discovers the
dead body of the security officer of the building and hides in a closet when she hears a noise. She is discovered by what she thinks is a cat burglar and taken swiftly away from the scene. Anson, the unknown cat burglar brings Sabrina to the penthouse that the Masters live in and introduces her to the other residents, Ethan, Caelan, Xavier and Walker. These men make up the group of specialized thieves, hacker, bouncer, mastermind, cat burglar and security. Each member has a connection, they have lost loved ones to a syndicate, mob type group led by an unknown but they intend to find out who exactly is the enemy. Sabrina is kept there by Anson for her safety, he want her protected until they can find out who they are aiming for. There is a strong connection between Anson and Sabrina, they spark flames when they are together. The rest of the Masters agree that Sabrina needs to be protected while they continue their work as each man connects with Sabrina too. There are so many different personalities with the crew, but they are all endearing in their own way. There is a lot of intrigue, mysteries, old friends that are questionable and a mob connection they are trying their best to figure out. All the while, Sabrina and Anson are burning up the sheets as their wildly hot sexual connection takes them on a sexy trip together. As you read, it all makes sense as questions are answered and mysteries resolved. This is a page turner for sure, I couldn't wait to read through each chapter as I flipped pages to get the answers that I too wanted!
I am looking forward to the next Masters of Manhattan book 2 where we will see much more
of the big guy, Ethan as he is revealed by an old flame.

Breaking💔 and Entering💕.....an Art Form
Murder Mystery with Adult Romance and Elements of BDSM.👋

Anson Daly🐺 has made an art form of theft during his life time, going from simple pickpocketing as a child, to museum and business art theft, among other illegal activities, as an adult. He doesn't just visit a place, he automatically cases it, checking for cameras, security measures, entry and exit opportunities.
He has never been caught.

Now he is a member of a small elite group of thieves. They all have one thing in common, one of their close family died, and the circumstances point to murder after careful analysis. Why?
The group spends their time hacking security systems, entering businesses, and stealing information that will lead them to the perpetrators of the murders.
They also form a legitimate business of being White Hat hackers, and are able to infiltrate some of the businesses they need to prove their cases.

Anson🐺🍆🌋👋 breaks into the office of a recently convicted dishonest executive who was killed in prison, again under suspicious circumstances. He needs to raid his personal safe for papers that will help them figure out who had him killed. The case is connected to the other murders.
He finds a dead security guard, the safe standing open, and a frightened young woman hiding in a closet. The woman is the executive's daughter, Sabrina.💃💋

Sabrina💃💋 is introduced to The team back at their penthouse. They need all the information she can give them about her father and his business. Anson🐺🍆🌋👋 is already ready to jump her bones!
Anson🐺🍆🌋 is a baaaad baaaaaad naaasssty man. He's a binder and a spankster!👋👋👋👋
YEHAW! Ride Em Bareback🍆, Cowgirl!🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

I liked the book📑 because it is not a typical adult romance. It's a murder mystery that includes a romance. I thought in real life, however, Sabrina💃💋 never would have been allowed to see or know about the other members of the group.

I have to confess, Jane Henry had me hooked on this book and the series by the second chapter of Knave. The characters are exciting and dynamic. The storyline is captivating and intriguing. Waiting to see how the mystery plays out may be torturous but I am convined that it will be a great ride to the end. Five men tied together by the deaths of a family member or loved one are assembled by a wealthy woman whose husband was killed. The woman has come up with answers to improbable questions and theorized a conspiracy but dies before she can provide information in person to the Masters. She's willed her estate to these men and charged them with finding the conspirators.

Anson "Saint" Daly is a professional thief and sometime Robin Hood. Growing up a mother who was addicted to both booze and drugs he turn to thievery in order to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. The skill-set he brings to the Masters is one of stealth and the ability to break into safes, houses etc. Finding Sabrina Fowler at the scene of a murder he forces her to return to the Masters' penthouse where she is questioned closely about her involvement in the possible crime. Sabrina is beside herself with grief because a tried & true friend was the one murdered that night. Anson and Sabrina practically sizzle off the page together. He feels he must protect her at all costs, giving up his quest for the truth in order to keep her safe. Accidentally finding the information they thought had been sacrificed for Sabrina's safety gives them answers to the some of questions asked. In order to ensure her continued safety Sabrina gives up her personal chef business and moves into the penthouse to become part of the Masters team.

Creative, erotic, character-driven and suspenseful ROMANCE – a CAN’T-MISS must buy****!
OMG, just finished the BEST novel! It’s so creative that I am hard pressed to identify the trope, but it is the most unique yet compellingly suspenseful ROMANCE novel I have ever read. “KNAVE” kept this reader/reviewer spellbound! For each mystery solved another one surfaced, so I had to read just another chapter . . . just to see what happened! As always, Authors Jane Henry and Maisy Archer offer their readers a wonderfully creative, character-driven plot full of individuals so rich they seem to walk off the pages and into the minds and hearts of their readers. Archer and Henry have the awesome ability to use words to weave remarkable romances within amazing circumstances. In “KNAVE”, the love between Sabrina and Anson will take readers into the diverse yet intriguing world of high stakes MAFIA retribution. Additionally, readers are given the privilege of watching how these circumstances take the protective instincts of a very bad man and morphs them into a passionate love for the woman he rescued. On the other hand, we are also given a glimpse into the swift process of gratitude and loss morphing into a passionate grasp to feel and to be safe and cherished. In the authors’ own words, “they fell hard” for each other! “KNAVE” is a wonderful love story, and while I was given an ARC to prepare this honest and voluntary review, I plan to purchase a copy to support these extremely talented AUTHORS! I STRONGLY recommend you purchase your copy of “KNAVE”, today. You will be so glad you did. Happy Pages! 😉

Knave is the first book in a new series by Jane Henry and Maisy Archer. I am really excited about this book and this series. These ladies are so fantastic on their own, and then they get together and some kind of awesome magic happens, and something great comes flowing out of their computers onto my Kindle screen.

Anson is a cat burglar, and a good one. His mother died not too long ago, and when he gets the chance to find out what happened and to get vengeance on the people behind her death, he jumps on it.

Sabrina is a personal chef and very good at her job. Her father recently died in prison, and when she goes to his office to find a picture of his that she wants, she finds Anson instead. Then she ends up being taken by Anson to get the information that he and his team need.

I am really interested in this team and how they are going to work together. The 5 guys that make up Anson's team were all used to working on their own, but they are slowly becoming a team and a family, so that's really interesting. Sabrina is a really good addition to the team, IMO. I think that she's going to be the heart of the team, you know, the one who kind of keeps everyone on an even keel and such. And she'll make sure that they all eat well. Maybe she'll even get Anson to try eggplant.

I really can't wait to see where the series is going to go. I did yell just a bit (maybe a lot) and the end, because I wanted more. I always want more. I don't want to have to wait until the next book comes out. Can't I have it today?

I read this book as part of an arc program. I loved this suspenseful and steamy book. There is a group of five men who each specialize in a different area that were brought together by a very wealthy woman to investigate her death. The men are called The Masters and were each contacted because they had a loved one who died under mysterious circumstances and were connected some way together. The Masters were Anson, Ethan, Caelan, Xavier and Walker and one night while trying to get evidence, Anson finds Sabrina in a closet hiding after he found a dead body in the office where the evidence was supposed to be. Anson takes Sabrina back to their penthouse and tries to question why she was there. Sabrina was in her father's office, he was a lawyer who was arrested and killed while waiting for his trial, and he was suspected to be connected to the Master's cases. When Anson and Sabrina give into their desires for one another, Sabrina wants to join forces and help the Masters. Danger doesn't take long to find them and more questions are uncovered. I loved this book, I think it had a lot of twists and turns and some dark heat between Anson and Sabrina. Anson was a dominant male who really wanted Sabrina to submit to him and follow his rules, but Sabrina still wanted to help and push Anson. I look forward to reading more of this series, good start.

Knave sounded very intriguing when I read the synopsis, but OMG...I DID NOT see this super exciting story coming, as it was off the charts heart pounding! It's the first book in a new series about a group of men who were chosen to become a team, in order to solve a mystery. This one centers around Anson who comes across Sabrina when on a mission, and from there, the sparks flew. I would love to go into more details, but with the off the charts suspense level, more info could put spoiler douchery into effect by accident. First of all, the two author who banded together for this series, are highly talented, and meshed perfectly together. (I wanted to state that for the record quickly in case I forgot.) So Anson & Sabrina are full of a HOT, but frustrating, push & pull with each other that leads to lighting the sheets on fire! Then there's a colorful cast of secondaries that added a lot of humor & more drama to the mix. And to top it all off, the twists & turns were plentiful, so that means my f-bomb dropping was as well. Of course since it's a series about a group solving a big conspiracy, it's ongoing so the questions left are many. Which means that I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT for the next book in this edge of my seat new series. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Anson Daly is a thief and receives a mysterious invitation to attend a meeting which brings together men who have a certain score to settle.

Sabrina Fowler is found by Anson hiding in a closet and when she discovers the truth behind the group Anson belongs to will she go along with what they have planned?

Will they be able to discover who is beyond certain murders linking the group?

This is a great mystery/romance that keeps the reader wondering what is going to happen next.

I liked Anson right from the beginning and he was definitely controlling in the bedroom! He was so protective over Sabrina right from the beginning but at the end it almost cost them everything.

Sabrina was suspicious over what happened to her father but when she discovers how everyone is linked she knows that she wants to get down to the truth behind it all. I liked everyone working together to get to the bottom of it all.

I'm really hoping that the group stays together but I am curious what will happen now that they have figured out the first thing.

Looking forward to seeing what is next!

After finishing Knave all I kept thinking is that I need the next book now! This is a romantic suspense story that involves a group of men that were literally strangers but have been brought together by the loss of someone important in their lives. Crimes have been committed and these 5 men are going to work together to solve the crimes and hopefully get justice. Anson is a thief, high end but still a thief. While trying to steal information that they require he runs into the daughter of someone else that they suspect was murdered. Her name is Sabrina, she's a chef and a spitfire! She and Anson will begin a complicated partnership because she seeks answers in her father's death. I really like where Jane Henry and Maisy Archer are heading in this series. The story was intriguing, suspenseful, sexy, funny and left me wanting more. It's told from dual POV. I received a review copy from Booksprout and this is my freely given, honest opinion.

Anson is a cat burglar, and a very good one. He started off pickpocketing as a child then as he got older he targeted museums and businesses stealing their art. He is now part of the Masters, an elite group of specialized thieves, hacker, bouncer, mastermind, cat burglar and security.
Sabrina is a chef, her father recently died in prison. She goes to his office to recover a picture of his that she wants. When she gets there she discovers the security guard dead and after hearing a noise she hides in the closet only to be found by Anson. This was a well written fast paced read. The attraction between Sabrina and Anson was off the charts hot. The story had danger, excitement, humor and plenty of sexiness. Can't wait for the next book. I was thrilled to find Jane Henry and Maisy Archer were writing a new series together and Knave is a perfect start to a suspense-filled and steamy series. A group of men thrown together all with interesting backgrounds but all with a common goal . This one is our introduction to Anson, a master thief and Sabrina, the daughter of a lawyer connected in some way to all the mystery and deceptions that link the Masters together.

I loved the interactions between Sabrina and all of the Masters and she certainly keeps Anson on his toes. The heat between these two keeps the reader turning the pages as not only does the need to know how all the puzzle pieces fit together but also, will Anson and Sabrina acknowledge what they have found in one another.

Once again Jane and Maisy have weaved a story that keeps a reader engrossed and hoping for the next instalment to be released soon.

Knave is the first book in a new series Masters of Manhattan Book 1 by writing duo Jane Henry and May Archer

This grabbed me from the first page and I couldn’t stop reading until I finished the book. It is a different book then their Boston Dome series. It is more mystery, suspense and will have you reading this book at the edge of your seat. At least that is what I did.

This first sets up the story and it players, Every character has their own unique voice, they are all fleshed out even though this story focuses on Anson and Sabrine. Both are great characters. Strong, smart, loyal and also quite funny. I loved their chemistry . I also loved the banter between all the characters.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this boko.

I can’t wait for the next in the series.

Anson is sort of a master thief. When he breaks into an office, he discovers a dead security guard and then detects Sabrina hiding in the closet. He brings her to the penthouse where the Masters are and it is clear that Sabrina needs protection. Anson is not just willing to protect her, he is also more than interested to make her his.

What an enthralling, well written, great read! There is murder, suspense, intrigue, hot dominants and so much more. Anson and Sabrina do have great chemistry, how they interact with each other and the other characters is what drew me into the story, and the intimate scenes were sizzling hot. The secondary characters were also very intriguing and interesting and I can't wait to learn what their stories are. I feel Knave is a great start of a new series and I look forward to read the next books.

KNAVE is the first book under the Masters of Manhattan series. The Masters of Manhattan is a group of five talented men, Ethan, Caelan, Walker, Javier, and Anson, who have been called together for a common cause. Each of them have exceptional skills and equally intense and intriguing personalities. Anson's story is featured KNAVE, how from being a notorious cat burglar, he became a man with a mission shared by the Masters and how he fell in love with Sabrina, a feisty independent woman who became involved with the group when her Dad became a target of their investigation. This book was written so well! It's hot and exciting, adorable and at times hilarious.
I'm excited to read the entire series!

I have received and read an advanced copy of this book and this is a fair and honest recommendation voluntarily shared.

This is the first book in the new Masters of Manhattan series written by 2 of my favourite authors.  It is a series about a group of 5 men who seek vengeance and truth about someone who they have lost, each bringing a unique skill set to the table.

The first book is about Anson who has lost his mother and Sabrina who has lost her father.  Sabrina goes to her father’s office in the hope of retrieving a picture she wanted and ends up meeting Anson who is there in the hope of retrieving information from the safe in the office.  Anson takes her back to the penthouse so he can learn about her and her father and she becomes under his protection (and the 4 others).

I really loved this story and can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out.  Great chemistry and strong alpha characters, just what I love.

While I realize that this is only the first story in the series, I dare say that I’m already enamored. I cannot wait to see what’s in store for the other masters because already this is looking to be a great series and Jane Henry and Maisy Archer set the bar incredibly high with “Knave”.

Likes/loves: making our hero a thief, Saint or Sinner, Anson Daly is downright yummy. Add in a fantastic, spunky, doesn’t let anyone demean her, heroine in Sabrina Fowler and yea…sparks will sparkle and fireworks will definitely go off so have your fire extinguisher at the ready or in some cases, a nice glass of wine or three because you might not be able to put the story down until you’re finished. I will confess to controlling myself and reading it in two sittings.

I have just one word for this story........Absofrickingamazeballs!!!! LOL, ok not a real word but you get it I'm sure.
Sabrina is no wimpy damsel needing saving, she is feisty and not afraid to stand up for herself. And with the way she meets the Masters, this is a very good thing indeed.
Anson is a loner who always worked alone, even his nickname is cool......Saint, love it! That all changed when he met the other Masters and they had to work together, then came Sabrina and she totally threw him for a loop.
This story had it all..........excitement, danger, humor, sassiness and plenty of hotness!!!!
I think this will be a one click series for me, I have no intention of missing any of these in the future.

Stunning start to a sexy suspenseful series

Jane Henry and Maisy you have done it again. "It" being creating a cast of interesting characters and an engrossing plot line.
In this the first book of the Masters of Manhattan series Sabrina and Anson are combustible together, their sexual chemistry is off the charts. The mystery, that appears will be continuing over the course of the series was compelling and kept my attention as I eagerly turned the pages of the book to see what happens next. It was satisfying to get some answers to the deaths that brought the Masters together. I can hardly wait to read the second book #Hustler# to see what happens next.
I received an advance reader copy.

I knew I was in for a different type of read.before I started, and these authors exceeded all my expectations. This book hits so many buttons: there’s suspense, intrigue, romance, and sizzling chemistry. The beginning of the book sets up the storyline and the series by introducing you to the colorful cast of characters and the upcoming plot, and is like a rollercoaster in that you have the slower ascent till you are dropped over the precipice for the thrill ride to follow. Great read - cannot wait for more of the series. Do yourself a favor - pick up this book and get ready to be captivated by these authors.

Wow these wonderful ladies really do write such exceptional stories together. This new series is excellent start the first book has it all, its got action, adventure , twists and turns with spanking scenes wich are really hot.

Anson is a theif, and one day he recieves a message for a meeting, when he gets there he finds other men have also been summonded, with one goal in mind to catch the person responsible for murdering their loved ones. These Masters all have different skill sets and come together for one mission.
This is Anson and Sabrinas story which you really dont want to miss. And if you are a fan of both ladies then you will definately love this book
