the author:- Emily Rose is a new to me author, I've not heard of her or her books before.
the story:- The story is about Ray and Miles and their angsty love/hate relationship. I liked this story a lot but I didn't love it. Ray was my least liked character. I found her boring, bland, and just plain moody. Miles was great, he has a past, and he has priorities, and reason to want to hate Ray, but eventually, they find one another and make peace. It's a nice story with a good beginning, and a decent end but the in between is a little choppy.
the book:- the formatting in this ebook is atrocious, whether that is author choice or a way to make the book seem longer it doesn't matter, it's BAD. I almost couldn't finish the book purely because of the formatting, then there are quite a few editing shortfalls which had me re-reading lines to make sense of them.
the downside:- formatting, editing, the character of Ray. She needed more depth for me to like her.

Some people Let go of what happened in high school, but these two didn't. Welcome to twisted. Miles and Ray have such a misunderstood appreciation for each other, but they soon learn better. This is my first time reading Emily Rose. Can I say I am so impressed. Her writing is amazing....Miles and Ray's interactions seem fluid. Must read....I was hanging on trying to figure out why Miles and Ray had a falling out in high school. Twisted is the perfect name for the bar...the book...everything. FYI, you will fall in love with the secondary characters also.

Emily Rose is a new author for me but I'm really looking forward to reading more from here in the future. I really enjoyed this story!! It's an angsty second change romance between Ray & Miles. It took me on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster ride. I felt a real connection to the characters, made the story that much better.

Nope.
Sorry, I liked the sound of this book but the writing just didn’t do it for me. It was clunky and disjointed and sometimes their conversations didn’t make a whole lot of sense. As for the maturity of these characters? They’re more like 14 and 16yo not 19 and 21yo. They would start yelling at each other for nothing and the one part where they should’ve been yelling they weren’t. Ray’s reaction to how Miles treated her at the near the end was exactly how it should’ve been, it shouldn’t have turned to guilt. As for the marriage proposal? How about they actually have a relationship first. And what happened to Owen? Do I have to read book 2 to find out?

Great debut!
I enjoyed this book. Miles and Ray's story is a whirlwind of emotions. I really liked Miles he had excellent depth to his character. He was a great big brother and all around good guy. It took me awhile to warm up to Ray she was very naive and emotional. They had amazing chemistry despite their history. The story was a bit rushed at the end but it was a great start to a new series.

Wow!
Going into this book I was thinking long it was going to be a dark read. However it wasn't quite like that. It was a good read but had quite a bit of back and forth and a crap ton of drama. It was well written just wasn't quite what I expected. All in all not to bad

I really didn't like this book, the writing was good. But the plot line was annoying. It jumps around, it has annoying insta love. Then the ending, it just abruptly ends and that is it. Will not be reading the rest of the series.

Twisted is emotional, sexy, and well, a little bit twisted. This book should've come with a warning about violence, not the violence within it's pages, but the violence these characters make you want to inflict. Ray and Miles had me actually talking to them, well, more like yelling at them, and more than once I wanted to give someone in this book a good old fashioned punch in the mouth. And I absolutely loved it! Even as these people frustrated the living daylights out of me, they still managed to worm their way in and pull at my heartstrings. The story is a little bit second chance romance and a whole lot emotional roller coaster as this pair deals with everything from selfish and distant parents, sick family members, friends that aren't above a bit of betrayal, and even some underhanded machinations from a snake in the grass love interest. It's fast-paced and certainly keeps a reader on their toes. Definitely a recommended read.

Omg this book was so freaking good. I love the story . I was so glad Ray and Miles became friends . Miles was so madly in love with her but never told her. He let her live her life with Owen not knowing how he really felt. One night he saw her in the bar Twisted where he worked and things never was the same. They became friends and then lovers. I was so scared when Owen and his friends jumped him at Rays house. But was so glad Miles pulled through. Miles was the sweetest. He loved his little sister who had cancer and gave her blood every weekend not caring it was hurting him either. They was so close. Mila & Ray had a friendship now as well. I absolutely loved the ending when Miles admitted his feelings for Ray and finally told her and also asked her to marry him. Can't wait to read the next one. Emily you rocked it with this story.

Good debut novel
Twisted is a good debut novel. Emily Rose has a lot of potential as an author. I really enjoyed reading Miles and Ray's story.
My issue is the feeling that there were missing parts the timeline seems off there's holes in the storyline too.
The reasoning behind the the rift is really lame. I was expecting something a lot different and more reasonable.
There is some missing words lack of contractions and at times more telling then showing so that made it difficult to feel for these characters. I wanted to feel what they were going through and I just didn't get that.
I will read the next book because I really want to see what happens to Miles and Ray.

It was really good and I’m glad I have the others to keep reading and I’m so happy for how it ended for anyone that hasn’t read it but wants to you really should but I would get the whole set because your going to want to read all of them. I don’t want to give anything away of what happens in the book and I don’t know if someone on here already did but it was good. Really for anyone that has this series in there want to read it is worth reading and buying if you can or if you can’t afford it even though I don’t know how much it is to buy. But it’s really good so if you can get it however you can and read it that’s all I’m going to say.

From the first page I was drawn in. Miles hooks you, he is alpha but at the same time a softie when it comes to the people he cares about. Ray the girl from his past whom he's always been drawn to, steps back into his life and turns it upside down. It was an emotional roller coaster ride you don't want to get off of. This story shattered my heart then put it back together again. The chemistry between Miles and Ray is off the charts hot. Once in a while I wanted to throat punch Miles but in the end he redeemed himself ten fold. Such a great read, I highly recommend this book.

This is a great love / hate, and second chance romance story, which is an emotional roller coaster journey throughout. This story is filled with angst, twists, and is an intense and thrilling story, which had me intrigued and hooked throughout. I look forward to reading the next story in this addictive series.

Well written. Good characters. Happily ever after. Abandonment and trust issues never resolved just pushed away. Self blame incredibly present in both characters and again never resolved just pushed aside to come together. I would have liked this much more if the characters had found a way to change their behaviors rather than love makes it all ok and will concur the behaviors and underlying issues that cause them. The characters are young though and I suppose that is how we approach things when we are young.

This is the first time I have read Emily Rose. I enjoyed this book. It was quite a roller coaster ride. Miles move away from his hometown to get a new start. The girl that he loved that never noticed him shows up at the bar he now runs. Miles never thought he’d see Ray again. The trials of second chance love. I loved these characters and the chemistry between Miles and Ray was off the charts.

Packed with betrayal, tons of emotions, angst and some hot as sin sex scenes! Miles and Ray and real and raw and need to fight their way to a happily ever after…that is if there will be one!
Would have loved to have had a bit more of an ending, but can’t wait to dive into book two of this series to see what happens!

This book has left me with mixed emotions. I applaud Emily Rose for taking on some difficult subjects, yet the relationship between the main characters is twisted (pun completely intended). The old adage of 'It is a fine line between love and hate' is an apt description of how the characters in this book interact. There is clear love, but the baggage they bring with them has them interacting in an unhealthy way. Though the characters do come to resolution, it is not a true HEA in my opinion.

Holy moly! I feel like my head and my heart have been bounced around like a ping pong ball whilst reading this! I have whiplash, but I couldn't put it down!Ray bumps into Miles (someone from her past) in the bar he works in but something doesn't feel right.
When misunderstandings and wrong doings comes to light, it blew my mind! And there was more than one occasion I wanted to throw my kindle!!
On to book two!

Second chance romance with a whole bunch of angst. This is a superb book. I will read this author again in a heart beat. Miles and Ray make this book so loving and worthy. The chemistry between them is off the charts. Really quick read, spacing in the book as fillers is a bit of an issue for me but it certainly didn't take away from the story. well worth the read.

I read this book fairly quickly but it was great, regardless! This is a new author to me so I was surprised at how fast I fell in love with Miles and Ray but I’m also not surprised because the book is well written. I love me some second chance romance and angst mixed in, a favorite of mine! I’d definitely recommend this book to others and I will be reading more by Emily Rose!

I really loved this book. The chemistry between miles and Ray is explosive. The immediate reaction is phenomenal. I got a little stabby in one scene but glad it passed and everything worked out. I really enjoyed it immensely. Emily Rose is gonna be a new favorite of mine. Her writing skill and style is amazing.

I loved every moment of this book. The characters and story. Both were very well-written with plenty of building up and a great plot. I cannot wait to read more by this author and find out what happens next in the second book.

This is the 1st book I've read written by Emily Rose; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

A fantastic second chance romance that takes you on an emotional ride. I could not put this book down. It has a great storyline and you can not help but fall in love with the characters. It is a definite must read.
