As Silverpines struggles to rebuild itself and protect itself from unsavory men women have taken matters into their own hands to find suitable husbands to help them rebuild out heroine needs someone to help her but doesn’t want to ever get married. Mason is expecting to marry on arrival but really doesn’t want to she proposes an arrangement that suits them both life has a way of upsetting even the best plans . I really enjoyed this book it has two aptly suited characters a really good plot and a few surprises along the way and an ending with some surprises too. A Good Man to the rescue!

Tragedy struck both Sarah and Mason at about the same time. She lost her beloved poppa, and he lost his precious wife. Neither wanted to marry, but they desperately needed each other.

When another near tragedy forced them to face the truth, that's when the problems began.

This book is a lovely story that shows the heart can love again after tragic loss. Time can heal the wounds and cure the melancholy. God's grace is shown in everything Mason does. This book is a must read!

Love this book.

What a sweet beautiful series this is, and this book is just another example how talented and hard working these authors are. Both Mason and Sarah, and supporting characters have depth and changes in actions and thought are a natural part of the developed storyline. I love that there is a mix of humor and sorrow in the book, as well as tantalizing hints of concurrent stories of other townspeople. Proof that one doesn't need steam for a great book.

This one is a keeper!

I’ve never read Lynn’s books before now, but I’m pleased to report that she has a clear, detailed and decisive writing style that reads like a dream. Now onto the next Silverpines!

Reviewed at Historically Romantic

In a small town that has already faced more than its fair share of tragedies two people who never, ever wanted to marry will put on a very good pretend show – right up until the pretend part is no longer true. Wanted: Gunsmith brings Mason to town as a mail order groom who has no intention of marrying, however he is very willing to be a business partner with the woman who needs a gunsmith. Mason also brings with him a bit of gun history which adds some interesting twists to this romance. Sarah has no intention of marrying her “groom”, she’s already decided that she will never marry for in her experience through friends, once the ring goes on the woman’s every freedom is curtailed and she becomes her husband’s property. No way that is happening to Sarah – but she does need to get her father’s gun shop back up and running. Since neither one wants to marry they agree to a pretend event but in reality is a business partnership. They might have fooled the townsfolk, but they haven’t really fooled themselves.

Watching Mason and Sarah move from strangers to reluctant business partners… and then to the strong feelings developing between them was an enjoyable and emotional journey. Add a touch of danger, a blast from Mason’s past and two people falling in love for real and you have an intense romance. Especially when Sarah will not give up her decision to not marry ever – her stubbornness, even against herself, is part of what drives this story.

I enjoyed this story very much, especially the look at couples past and possibles couples to come. I had fun with this story and I believe that any Western Historical Romance reader would love Wanted: Gunsmith or this entire Silverpines series.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription. This is my personal opinion on this story, a voluntary review of a book I borrowed through my monthly fee paid KU subscription.

Another fantastic story in this series.

This is a really fun story. I love the hero very much as he is a true upstanding gentleman. I loved the heroine who
lost her father after the earthquakes and mudslide that killed most of the men in Silverpines. Goons hassling the shop owners and ranchers seeing the women now as easy targets in this devastated town and the next one over. Women needing to marry to make sure the goons leave them and their businesses alone.
Mail order men coming in by trainfull to marry these women to keep the crooks away, and help them with their businesses.I
It's not always east when their mail order men come and the women aren't sure if they will be good men and not just takeover their businesses, but partner with them instead.
This now this heroine is, so when her groom comes in to work in her fathers gun shop and be the smithy for it, they get back on the train to go to another town to pretend to get married since there is no preacher in Silverpines. They come back with everyone believing they married. Neither wanted to marry, but for the protection of our heroine and her mother an is in some bewildering state, not speaking, not eating much and not really knowing what is going since her husband died, and protection from these swindlers/goons.
But as all good stories, there ends up to be good things and bad things that happening.
Now you have to read this story to find out exactly what I'm talking about. Oh, and I highly recommend this and all the stories in this muti-author series.

Silverstone series

A wonderful sweet romance I loved the story line Sarah is like a little Annie Oakley. Sarah was so scared she thought if she married a man he would then treat her badly seems her friends told her. Mason was a widower who was married to Wesson's daughter but lost her in tragic circumstances he goes west to marry a women wanting a gunsmith but really they both don't want marriage. The town of Silverpines is still struggling to come to terms with a tragedy that most of there men lost there life's in and the women ordered mail-order Husbands to help rebuild there town. However Sarah and Mason don't want to get married and come up with a plan to pretend that they are husband and wife but things go rather pairshaped and Mason and Sarah both find themselves attracted to each other and the problems begin it's a must read and I can't wait to read the next one.

Very good read

I enjoyed this book! I have enjoyed all of the books in this series so far! Mason went west to be a gunsmith and a married man. But he didn't want to get married again after his wife Lucy's death he felt he would always love Lucy. Sarah didnt want to get married either, she had a plan. They would make it look like they got married but wouldn't share a bedroom only a home her momma was there so she didn't see a problem. But neither one of them planned on falling in love.can Mason convince Sarah to marry him? She swore she would never marry. But everyone soon finds out they aren't really married and ooh la la the tongues start wagging. Mason wants to marry Sarah in the worst way but she said NO! Can he get her to change her mind? You will have to read this book to find out! I highly recommend this book!

Wanted Gunsmith

Sarah was the daughter of the local gunsmith in town and due to the town disaster of the floods, mudslides and the earthquake that collapsed the mine her father was one of the casualties. Sarah was left to clean up the shop and help her mother overcome the loss of her husband. Sarah decides to advertise for a gunsmith as a potential husband as she really does not want to get married. Mason answers her ad and arrives in town only to be met by Sarah who puts him back on the train to go to the next town as the minister in their town was killed in the avalanche of mud. This book has both suspense and love as well as nosy Parkersburg in the form of nosy neighbours. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

Sarah needs help to run her Father's gun shop. But there's no way she wants to get married.
Mason is heartbroken after his wife's death. He wants to get away from everything but can he do that and still avoid getting remarried?
Can they work together to keep the shop going?
The pretend to be married bit wasn't the best idea. We all know how that's gonna work in the long run. But the story was clean and sweet and pretty good still.
It's fun to get to know the town better and try to see who else will be advertising for mail order husbands soon.

I love how this series isn't all roses and champagne. I like who there are struggles and troubles. I like how the characters, young and old, are relatable and realistic. This series is fantastic. This book, WANTED: GUNSMITH is like this. The characters were great! I like that the author had strong yet realistic heroines. This is another in this series that is a stand alone, yet great in the series. I like how this book looks into other characters that other authors have written.

Stubborn Sarah

Sarah was adamant that she would never marry and become a servant and not having any rights.

Mason was determined to never marry again as he lost his wife in a horrific accident.

But Sarah needed a “husband” and Mason needed to escape memories. Will their hearts be opened to love for each other?

Loved Mason! He was the perfect man. Took Sarah long enough to realize that fact!

I loved it! So many twists and turns to get the unexpected expected happy ever after! I appreciated the nod to the characters from other books in this series both before and after this one! Many series don't seem to do that well! I'm looking forward to meeting the new Blacksmith, Doc (although he's already made a few medical visits, I want to read his and Hattie's story), and the Innkeeper!

it is crazy how two people who did not want to get married, finally realize they want to marry. Smith and Wesson play a vital role in the story. It is amazing how there are twists and turns that bring about such realizations. I loved the plot as once again we are at the scene of Silverpines after the two devastating earthquakes. This can be a stand a lone book as well as read as the series.

Nice Series

This is the third book in the Silverpines series. It involves the daughter of the gunsmith and a widowed gunmaker who needs to move to a new location. An interesting twist is when we find out the gunmaker is the son-in-law to John Wesson of Smith&Wesson. There are several secondary characters making a more interesting story and possibly leading to future stories.

The series

The wanted s
eries is very good and though this says book 3 I have read many of the other books. They are all very good but sometimes it is hard to write something New About each ... And sometimes I have not been able to write any thing Without doing any spoilers So I just Anybody who likes anything to do with the west should definitely try these out.

After a tragedy in the town of Silverpines, Sarah sends off for a mail-order groom, but she doesn't want to ever get married. It works out since Mason, the man who answers her ad, is still mourning his deceased wife. Until they get to know each other.

But Mason brought something with him that others want, and it puts them all in danger. Will a rescue make theirs a true marriage?

A match made out of necessity.

Sarah didn't want to get married. Mason had his reasons too. A plot that seems to get uncovered at the wrong time causes them grief. Read to learn what happens between 2 stubborn people.
