Waste of time if you are over the age of 25 in graduate school.

A good 'intro to counselling psychology' book. As someone approaching their second year of a counselling program, this book is pretty accurate. I didn't get much out of it, but recommend if anyone is interested in going into counselling or is just starting a program in it. Though based on US regulations and standards, the first half of the book is still pretty relevant wherever you might be.

Okay I’m gonna give this a 3 because I think my professor wanted us to read this to ease our anxiety about the program and if anything it made me more stressed because it was my program to life career in 250 pages but I think as I move forward I’ll be grateful for the knowledge it gave me

This book only holds value if you are starting grad school right out of undergrad. As someone in his mid-30s, I did not get much out of this one.
