Lo sentí demasiado corto. Me encantó. Hace rato no me enamoraba tanto de una pareja ♡
Me alegra haber leído la historia antes de ver la serie (la cual espero con muchas ansias). El personaje de Rain es imprudente e infantil en momentos pero también tiene lados que me sorprendieron ¡Rain es una caja llena de sorpresas! Tiene un carácter y determinación admirable. Phayu por otra parte me tiene enamorada. Es un hombre fiel, responsable, duro aveces pero justo. Sin Rain darse cuenta, P'Phayu lo educó de nuevo jajaja amé eso ♡

A ver sí es dulce y tierna.
Puedo decir que es la novela menos tóxica de Mame pero no se, no me tuvo atrapada del todo. No es mala al contrario, podemos decir que Rain es muy tierno y que la inteligencia intenta siempre alcanzarlo pero él es mucho mas rapido😂😂. Además lo que le falta a Rain lo tiene Phayu, es demasiado astuto pero tierno, todo un hombre con pelo en pecho 💖.
Así que espero que la serie me atrape más de lo que hizo el libro.

เรื่องนี้พูดตรงๆ ตอนแรกนึกว่าจะอ่านไม่รอด
เพราะต้นเรื่องนายเอกของเรื่อง "วาเรน" หรือ "เรน"
จะลักษณะเป็นวัยรุ่นเลือดร้อน ทำอะไรไม่ได้คิดถึงผลที่จะตามมา
ปากเก่ง พูดจาไม่มีมารยาท ฯลฯ ที่แทบจะเป็นคาแร็คเตอร์ที่ไม่ชอบทั้งนั้นเลย
แต่พอคิดว่า เออ..ในเรื่องเรนเพิ่งอยู่ปีหนึ่ง คณะสถาปัตยฯ
แล้วนี่มันเพิ่งต้นเรื่องก็เลยให้อภัยและอ่านต่อไป 😂
พระเอก "พายุ" เป็นรุ่นพี่สายรหัสของเรน แต่จบไปก่อน
เรนจะได้เข้ามาเรียน คนนี้เค้าเปิดเผยว่าเป็นไบ เก่งทั้งด้านออกแบบ
และซ่อมรถ ทำงานบริษัทด้วย มีอู่ของตัวเองร่วมกับน้องชายฝาแฝด
พายุจะเป็นผู้ใหญ่กว่า สมกับอายุ แต่ก็ไม่ใช่ตัวละครที่ดี๊ดี
ก็จะเทาๆ งานส่วนนึงของเค้าเกี่ยวกับก๊วนแข่งรถซิ่ง (ผิด กม.)
พายุกับเรนมาเจอกันโดยบังเอิญ ต้นเรื่องอย่างที่บอก เรนอ่ะปลื้มตั้งแต่แรกแล้ว
คือปากก็จะประมาณว่าไม่ชอบ แต่จะเอาชนะอีกฝ่ายให้ได้
แต่...ก็สู้ประสบการณ์ของพายุไม่ได้หรอกกกก แพ้ทางเค้าตั้งแต่แรกแล้ว
โดยปราบราบคาบ ส่วนที่ทำให้กลับใจมาชอบเรนก็ตั้งแต่เจ้าตัวเริ่มได้
ประสบการณ์เจ็บเล็กๆ จากชีวิต (เช่น ส่งงานไม่ทัน โดนอาจารย์ว่า
พายุก็สั่งสอน) แล้วเค้าเริ่มฮึดและเรียนรู้ขึ้นมาว่าเค้าควรจะทำตัวยังไง
แล้วตอนหลังก็ปรับตัวดีขึ้นมากกก เวลาอยู่กับพายุก็น่ารัก ไม่น่ารำคาญแล้ว
ตอนหลังเลยกลายเป็นชอบเรนยาวมาจนจบเล่มเลย
ดราม่าจะอยู่ท้ายๆ เรื่อง แต่ไม่เยอะ มีลักพาตัว ซึ่งปกติจะไม่ชอบนิยายเรื่องไหนเลย
ที่เอะอะท้ายเรื่องก็ลักพาตัว แต่เรื่องนี้ตอนเรนถูกเอาตัวไป ได้เห็นความเข้มแข็ง
และความรักจริงที่เรนมีต่อพายุ (ส่วนความรักของพายุเห็นมาก่อนหน้านั้นแล้ว)
ก็เลยไม่รู้สึกขัดใจ โอเคเลยสำหรับในเรื่องนี้
ที่แอบติดในใจเรื่องนึงคือชื่อคาแร็คเตอร์ มันดูจงใจเกินไปจนไม่เป็นธรรมชาติ
ที่ตัวละครชื่อออกแนวนี้้เยอะมาก (สายฟ้า พายุ เรน สกาย พระพาย ฯลฯ)
ถ้าเป็นญาติพี่น้องกันก็พอเข้าใจว่าตั้งชื่อให้สอดคล้องกัน แต่หลายคนไม่ใช่ญาติ
เป็นแค่เพื่อน อ่านแล้วก็เลยแอบคิดอย่างที่บอกอ่ะค่ะว่ามันไม่เป็นธรรมชาติอ่ะ
แต่โดยรวมชอบนะคะ ว่าจะกลับไปอ่านอีกบางตอนที่มันฟินๆ 😊

In Thailandia attualmente sta uscendo il Bl drama: "Love in the Air" ( di cui ho visto le prime 5 puntate) che dovrebbe comprendere questa novel di Mame chiamata " Love Storm" e il suo sequel /contemporaneo " Love Sky".
Sembrava un cliché... e confermo che lo è stato ma l'ho letta per capire meglio la situazione di stallo iniziale in cui in un primo momento Rain , che è il protagonista, odia Phayu ( il coprotagonista) ed è attratto dalle donne e poi si ritrova a provare altri sentimenti.
Ammetto che le relazioni odio >> amore, mi interessano molto ma questa è fatta proprio con i piedi, come le traduzioni che ho letto sia in italiano che in inglese, o almeno, spero siano le traduzioni, ( essendo che ancora non si trova una versione ufficiale) altrimenti se la scrittrice avesse scritto proprio in questo modo, sarebbe stato un NO categorico su tutta la linea!
Rain, è un ragazzo facilmente manipolabile che si imbatte casualmente in Phayu. Da subito lo trova un ragazzo attraente ma nulla di più, essendo che non ha mai avuto esperienze vere con delle ragazze, le attenzioni ricevute da Phayu lo portano a provare un certo tipo di attrazione / dipendenza nei suoi confronti dalla quale non riesce più a staccarsi ma nonostante questo non è chiaro fino a che punto sia conscio rispetto il suo orientamento sessuale.
Phayu d'altro canto non è un ragazzino, è un uomo e sà esattamente cosa vuole. Si innamora subito di lui e non perde occasione per portare la loro conoscenza su un altro livello. Ma lo fa forzando parecchio la mano, cosa, forse, di cui si pente più avanti.. ma ciò non toglie che l'ha fatto lo stesso.
Come dicevo all'inizio, l'odio che diventa amore è troppo prevedibile, succede troppo in fretta, non ha generato il minimo conflitto e non mi ha lasciato nulla (e questo doveva essere il piatto forte). Bocciato!
Se togliamo questo ci restano personaggi con un background ambiguo, brave in tutto quello che fanno, senza avere il tempo materiale per apprendere tali conoscenze e personaggi secondari che non esistono. Bocciato!
Insomma eccetto una scena in particolare , o meglio, una frase in particolare "che non si può dire", e le scene con i genitori di Rain che ti fanno capire che tipo di persona sia P'Phayu ad oggi il bl drama ha tirato fuori un prodotto molto più accattivante e credibile , quindi secondo me , in paragone è meglio il drama.
(Tanto per dirne un paio: Rain è ambiguo dall'inizio con il suo orientamento perché a parole comunica una cosa e a fatti ne fa subito un altra e Phayu aspetta di ricevere il consenso... ma non è solo questo)
Concludo dicendo che Mame è riuscita a creare moltissime novel con i personaggi che si muovono all'interno dello stesso mondo. Quindi è piacevole passare da una storia all'altra con personaggi che già conosci.
Fatto sta che non sono per niente colpita dal suo stile / trama / caratterizzazione etc..
Nei Drama la storia è un po diversa, presentano sempre qualche problema ma essendo rivisti da altri sono più coerenti. Ispirati alle sue novel per ora ho visto:

Review is for the translated version I read, which wasn't an official translation so there were a LOT of issues with that. Which, did affect the enjoyability of the story. The few sections I read on the authors page that were translated did not have this issue so the rating is squarely on the version I read.
The set up of the street racing was interesting though i'm not sure it's believable. The ability to close of major streets in Bangkok for hours without detection by the police - doesn't ring true.
Payu's intensity was very attractive mostly because he was never over the top arrogant. Though there are a couple of times where he nears the boundry of crossing the line with Rain. Thankfully he didn't push that far.

I watched the drama version of this and it is one of my favorite ones of all time. I absolutely had to read it when a translated version became available. They are such a cute couple. Rain is the sunshine with a stubborn streak and Phayu is the cool character who only shows his tender side to his boyfriend. The only downside was that the writing was a little awkward, but its to be expected since it was originally written in another language. I loved this book!

Love Storm is the first book of the Love In The Air Series what is my favourite or one of my favourite BL'S ever that was made both version Thai and Japenese.
The Plot is also one of the uniqusten I ever read about how they met and how they Fell in love. All of the Charakter are to love except obvious "HIM". It is also so a funny onesided enemy to lover Story. How Rain tries to be more and mature for Phayu and how much he changes for him is so cute and shows how much he loves him.

This book and the story of this couple have a special place in my heart. I watched the drama before reading the book which help me visualize the character with particular faces. But I must say, I love this book so much that I read it nth time but each time it feels like the first time.
In chronological order, this book comes before "Love Sky", as the event leads to the meeting between Prapai and Sky happens in this book. And goodness, P'MAME's writing is giving me equal butterflies that I got while reading " Love Sky".
Rain, a 1st-year architecture student meets with a stranger on a rainy night who helps him with his car. He was so swamped over the stranger's handsome look that he almost destroyed his friend Sky's ears by telling him about their interaction repeatedly. But his excitement dimmed when he hears his crush Ple discussing a senior named Phayu. He was irritated by the fact that his crush has a crush on a senior and soon he finds out that Phayu is the same stranger he encountered. He almost let the grudges go after knowing his identity but things go downfall with a very weird incident during their second interaction. Circumstances lead Rain to challenge Phayu that he'll make him fall for him in one month and that's when the real chaos gets its beginning. Will Rain be able to make Phayu fall for him? Or he'll lose the challenge? Why did Phayu accept Rain's challenge? What was in his mind? Well, you've already watched the drama but still read the book to solve the questions. It's very interesting.
I want to thank Boss and Noeul who did an amazing job portraying Phayu and Rain. I can't imagine someone else playing either of the characters. Even without the intimate scenes, they manage to give us butterflies, that's how good their chemistry is. I'm in love with both the drama and the book. Although reading was a little hard through the Google translation, I managed it. And this drama successfully made the top of the list of my favorite dramas.

After watching both the original Thai version and the Japanese adaptation, I decided it was time to read the book. The story is practically identical, Phayu/Rain (or Arashi/Rei in the Japanese version) are still adorable, we still have the kidnapping plot, the racing, the Prapai/Sky (🇯🇵 Fuma/Kai) subplot, all the slightly questionable moments, Rain is still very naive, Phayu is even more dominating than in the tv show and loves to embarass Rain. There are some things that I didn't like and I think the tv show did them better, but it was still a very entertaining book, I loved it.
The next book with Prapai/Sky's story will probably have to wait a little as I want to read The Heart Killers first (and I have to wait for the tv show to stop airing as I don't want to be spoiled and read about with happens with Fadel and Bison 🥺😭), though that's probably a good thing as Sky's backstory is really depressing and traumatizing, and I'm not in the mood to read all about his pos ex.
The next book with Prapai/Sky's story will probably have to wait a little as I want to read The Heart Killers first (and I have to wait for the tv show to stop airing as I don't want to be spoiled and read about with happens with Fadel and Bison 🥺😭), though that's probably a good thing as Sky's backstory is really depressing and traumatizing, and I'm not in the mood to read all about his pos ex.

Es muy curioso leer historias de otros países, como que la estructura cambia, pero no deja de ser entretenido, sobre todo esta historia que me llamaba mucho la atención por la serie (la cual estoy amando), así que me lancé de cabeza a leerla y ha sido una buena experiencia. Los personajes me gustaron mucho aunque Rain es lo mas bobo del mundo, me gusta que no se presionen a menos que sea parte de su coqueteo o juego previo, conocen los límites vaya, pura green flag, salvo en dos ocasiones que mencionan lo de "ser hombre" que me hizo poner los ojos en blanco, pero bueno, para el ambiente de la trama, hubo romance, escenas sepsis y acción.

La verdad creo que me ha encantado este libro, pero no es de mis favoritos.
Es sencillo de leer, la historia es un tanto dramática, pero tiene drama que lo encontre divertido y juguetón entre Rain y Phayu que se han ganado mi corazón.
Y aunque en mi opinion hay algunas escenas que se me hicieron pesadas, como algunas otras que fluían de manera increíble. Es un libro bastante bueno para pasar un buen rato, y reir, y reir, y quizas llorar.
Rain es un de esos personajes que tanto me encantan, entre enojón y muy confiado de si mismo, que entiendo el por que Phayu lo adora, y bueno, este ultimo me causo suspiros, es casi el chico ideal, y lo senti bastante real.

Dios mío tenía tiempo que no me devoraba una novela y tuvo que ser Mame con esta historia que con la serie me robó mi corazón y ahora con el libro más obsesionada quedé. Phayu y Rain son parte de mis 4 hombres favoritos de la vida. Aunque Rain no me representa hay ciertas situaciones en dónde obviamente sería él porque quién no quiere tener una Tormenta de novio... Es que me enamore 1000 veces más de Phayu que hombre tan perfectamente hermoso y es que tenía que ser escrito por una mujer.
Sin mentir pero durante todo el libro solo pude imaginar el físico de Nouellee y Boss como los personajes de este libro. Soy fan <3

Admito que no tenía altas expectativas al principio me pareció aburrida y solo decidí continuar por el drama bl sin embargo como fue avanzando la historia phayu me pareció un personaje inteligente, bromista y divertido mientras que Rain era demasiado testarudo pero también aceptaba sus responsabilidades y se hacía cargo de su decisiones por lo que la historia en si no tuvo mucho drama solo el momento de Top pero no duró mucho y la relación de los protagonistas es probablemente una de las más sanas en estás novelas thai

The translation I found was excellent.
I watched the drama first, and it was a really well-done adaptation with very few changes and scene rearrangements.
I did have a hard time staying interested in the story, though, because I had just finished the drama and was hoping that the novel would have things not included in the show, but everything was basically the same.
I love Phayu & Rain's relationship even though Phayu had a few moments where he felt manipulative (to me). That aside, I would not mind having a Phayu of my own.

Love Storm tiene una trama sencilla, Rain siendo cautivo por el perfecto Phayu llegando siempre a su rescate. No mentiré llegue a esta novela después del ver el drama Love in the air (hermosa adaptación), llena de cliches, mucho romance, un pisca de drama, AMO los finales felices.

The live action series was a huge improvement of the source material. The casting choices were perfect for these roles and there was the added bonus of not having to read a clunky English translation because the subtitles of the series were infinitely better than the translation of the novel.
I will read the next book, Love Sky, for Sky & Praphai's story, but I doubt I will continue reading MAME novels in the future.

Lo leí antes de ver la serie y lo ame demasiado siento que Phayu es como ese hombre que una busca toda la vida, pero el solo estaba enamorado desde el principio de Rain e hizo todo para que le correspondiera.
Me gustó que Rain tenía una personalidad fuerte y su convicción clara así que fue un buen personaje para complementar a Phayu.

Diría 3.5 estrellas.
Me gustó el libro y es entretenido, pero creo que por el tema de la traducción a veces me parecía lento o repetitivo.
Es literalmente igual que la serie, esta muy bien adaptado, incluso diría que me gustó más la serie, la cosa con el libro es que es muy cotidiano y relata a veces detalles no tan necesarios, pero igual esta divertido y conectas muy bien con los personajes.
