Witches, vampires and hybrids come together in this supernatural thriller where romance isn’t the only thing on the agenda.
Lives are at stake when Dee’s best friend must overcome darkness and pain in order to stop an underlying urge to kill her already-dead attacker. The problem? Amelia has no idea this is even happening—she’s living inside her nightmares.
It’s up to Dee and her friends to help Amelia find the light within to combat the darkness that’s attempting to consume her.
An unlikely ally arrives on the scene and Dee begins to feel things she’s never experienced before. Caleb is the oldest living vampire—sired by an ancient race—and all signs point to them being compatible. She’s a witch; this shouldn’t be possible.
Can a witch and vampire be Mated by Magic?
Will Caleb be Dee’s new beginning or her undoing?
Fans of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals will want to sink their teeth into The Hybrid Coven Series.

This was a book full of great friendships and true love. It started out heartbreaking with Amelia. She endured unbelievable abuse and torture, at the hands of twisted, psycho vampire Donavan. She was suffering, horrific nightmares of what he put her through. Tristan, Amelia's mate is crazed with worry, and feels so helpless that he can't take away her pain. Her friends try to help and lend support. Amelia however, needs much more than support. Another couple amongst the friends, end up realizing they're soul mates also, when he returns home. However, there's more to it then just realizing you're soul mates. Nothing can be that easy and there's, definitely problems and issues in the way and serious ones. One of which, a mother that finds out and comes barreling in, magic blazing. Since her daughter's a witch and he's a vampire, and on top of that Mom feels it was kept from her.
Like I said above, this was full of great friendships, and that really came through in the book. They're really there for each other, regardless of what is needed. I really liked the characters and how they interacted with each other. That really stood out to me. Of course there was action with fighting, lots of scotch being drank, vampires to kill, friend's to find, rituals to preform, mating and more mating going on and celebrating.
Awesome, hot, friendships ,bond and the most amazing sex a girl could have. This story hand me on the edge of my seat. This vampire series was excellent. If you want a book about paranormal activities then this is it. Take a ride with witches and vampires. I love the series. Thanks Angela 😀😍
I found this read to be enjoyable and entertaining. The storyline is well-written, with magic and defined paranormal characters. I liked it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
Unfortunately, I’m in a hospital and asked my husband to post this since I don’t have the time or ability right now to do better - even though the book definitely deserves it.
Bottom line: Angela Sanders’ Mated by Magic (The Hybrid Coven Book 2) is a wonderful addition to what’s clearly going to be a great series, and easily worth five stars. This was one truly fun novel and definitely recommended. It had just what I wanted, was well written, with excellent world building and a great plot full of magic and adventure. I simply adored its lead Dee take on everything she’s facing. She and the cast of supporting characters (hello Amelia and Caleb) were simply superb. What more I could one ask for?
Highly recommended, with the caveat that while you could read this standalone you’re much better starting off from book 1.
Wow. Lovers of Vampire Diaries beware. It will be impossible to put this story down until you’re finished and ready for the next. Out of this world story and characters.
This is book 2 of the Hybrid Coven series and it is a fantastic read, sorry guys I’m not going to give any spoilers because I won’t be able to stop myself and this review will end up as a book in itself lol. I did feel bad for Amelia and the abuse at the hands of the vampire Donovan, and the hopelessness of her mate Tristan who doesn’t know what to do to help her. There’s plenty going on in this story like action, adventure, magic, love and lots of nasty vampires to kill and so much more to keep you turning the pages and to keep you entertained. Fantastic read and I can’t wait for book 3, thank you Angela for another fantastic story. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read and it’s worth more than 5 ⭐️ I loved this story and I know you will too.
This book was amazing. Boy she knows how to write books about vampires and magic. Very well written great characters and an amazing plot. I literly had tears running down my cheeks when Caleb was in the circle and his mother showed up. This book is just amazing.
I just loved how much character interaction and storytelling there was in this book. Not all stories can be told with shifting perspectives, but the author did an amazing job with keeping the flow going and each character contributing something new to the story. I find the various viewpoints helpful for understanding a character and learning more about the events taking place. I felt like even though this was more Dee’s love story, we had a chance to learn more about Amelia. By the end of the book she was almost a whole different person. Caleb and Dee’s romance was beautiful and though it happened fast, I loved the ending. Can’t wait to see what happens in this series next! If you love paranormal romance I would recommend this book to you!
Mated by Magic is the second book in The Hybrid Coven series.
I voluntarily received and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
A fantastic addition to the Hybrid Coven Series. This author packs so much story into each book it is truly spectacular. There are multiple story lines happening but they are clear, concise and easy to follow. The story flows seamlessly and kept me captivated from start to finish. I am completely invested in these characters and their stories and can't wait to see where the author takes this series next!
