It's a gripping page turner all the way!
If you’re looking for action, you’ll definitely find it here. Cryptic is a mix of Indiana Jones with good mystery.
The book begins with Mister ‘Nash’ Corsair in full action, escaping from traps and giant spiders. When he finally runs away, he meets Mister Stromberg, the last member of the ‘Society of the Owl’, who hires him to unravel the secrets of a tomb.
As soon as they enter the tomb, Nash needs to decipher how to move on and reach the room of the tomb, with its scrolls and treasures. And most of all, how to get out of there alive.
Donaldson created interesting and very well-built characters, especially Nash, of course. He is engaging and singular at the same time. The author provides us with high doses of mystery and tension. It's a gripping page turner all the way.

Enjoyed the story and I highly recommend for those who like the Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider type books.
