Boy versus Fly introduces us to Dean and the Bean family. In this adventure, Dean Bean with the best of intentions disrupts his math class chasing a fly. He owns up to his mistake and accepts the consequences of his impulsive behaviour. In making amends, he never imagined that he could learn an important lesson from a bug.
A humorous children’s story that will delight a wide range of young readers. They will be entertained by Dean Bean’s antics, and learn a valuable lesson in making mistakes.
This was my 5000th book owned. It’s special in so many ways. It is written and illustrated by a friend of mine. And I went to get my autographed copy this morning. As it is a children’s book t was a very quick read. But I found myself smiling at the short tale. The boys would rather figure out how to catch an fly in hand on their own than to eat even half their salad and learn from their father! Typical kids. The illustrations are great, too. There are a lot of geometrical shapes involved which would make a great teaching tool. Two thumbs up to Dean Bean and his author Daniel!
Went to Chapters to pick up a book for my daughters Aurora and Maya met the author and he signed the book for them. Read the book at bed time my girls absolutely loved the book and made me read it twice to them. Great book can’t wait for your next one to come out.
