Super short review for a super short book. I enjoyed this one. Not quite as much as the first book, but it was still a fun, sexy, and quick little read. Well written and well paced. The plot was engaging. This was insta-love on steroids. Very minor angst, and no OW or OM drama. The sex scenes were both hot and plentiful. Neither were virgins <--- thank god! There were a few interesting secondary characters. I wonder if the next book will be about Liam (a boss) and his secretary? And both main characters were very likable. Last, it was all wrapped up in a sweet two years later epilogue. So yea, I liked it, really not much else left to say.

Stella Stone really knows how to write steamy and sexy novellas that draw you in. Grant is a cop that's assigned to Elise, his boss daughter. She doesn't know this and when she has a run in with Grant the attraction isn't one sided. What follows is a steamy story that makes you want to have yourself a Hot Cop watching you. I can't wait for the next Hot guy in this series.

Grant is a brooding cop. A bit surly about his latest assignment given to him until he sees who he is supposed to be watching. She turns on his protective and possessive side, he is willing to go all-in to make her happy.
Elise is tired of being under her father’s thumb. She is ready to be treated like a woman, and that’s exactly how Grant treats her.
I loved their instant attraction. This book is a perfect fantasy of the hot Cop finding the woman he is ready to risk it all for, to protect and possess. I love that Stella’s steamy books are a quick read, there isn’t a whole lot of push-pull, little to no angst over will they end up together or not. These couples have instant attraction that turns into quick love, (not quite insta-love) that sticks.
I can’t wait for the next sexy novel from Stella!

This is my first time reading a Stella Stone story and just like she says, it's a sexy romp!
Grant is a thirty-six year old detective in a small town. He is very good looking, buff and generally oozes sex appeal. Elise is the twenty year old daughter of the chief of police and has just returned after being away for five years. Naturally the chief is concerned about his daughter's safety and assigns some of his men to keep a watch over her. When it is Grant's turn things change direction massively.
The two lead characters have a powerful chemistry that is hard for them to deny. Their intimate scenes are almost at the combustible stage they are so hot. Overcoming some issues, especially dear old dad, is a huge hurdle.
In reality this is a light romance with a very sexy twist. Very easy to read as it isn't very long and fast faced too. I enjoyed the no nonsense approach to this relationship and would be more than happy to read more by this author as it did engage me from cover to cover.

Hot Cop was quick and dare I say it? HOT HOT HOT! It starts out when Elise's father has his men taking turns watching her to protect her, and maybe make sure she stays out of trouble. When it's Grant's turn, he decides that he's going to make her his. This is an insta love story, because once Grant's mind is made up, there's no going back, and that's one thing I love about these kind of stories, no OW or OM drama. Yeah, there was some drama about her father, and some secrets, but can't have total smooth sailing in a story. And the hotness factor lit the sheets on fire! Plus, there was a big twist that I never saw coming! So yeah, I enjoyed this hot, quick read! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Holy smokes, talk about a smoking HOT read. Now I didn't read the first in this series so I wasn't sure what to expect but the title and blurb intrigued me so I thought I'd give it a shot. This book is packed full of super sexy scenes. There isn't much angst and it is definitely a insta-love to the extreme in this book and there is a bit of suspense tucked into this forbidden romance book. Nothing like the forbidden to make it all the more sweeter.
If you are looking for a short, steamy read then this is definitely for you.

My body wants him, even if he’s a creeper, it’s annoying. One of my favorite lines from this hot little read . Stella has become one of my favorite naughty read writers. Grant is a jealous man, "he grunts. “You let him touch your waist, my waist. He give you his number?” he demands." Grant isn't one to ask for permission, “I don’t really give much of a eff, chief. Elise is mine, has been, and will be,” This was quite the short, dirty, filthy read and I enjoyed every minute of it

Another great, hot, sexy, story from Stella! Loved the somewhat forbidden romance of not only the Hero’s boss’s daughter, but also the age difference. The sex was hot, the story line was great. I fantastic short story!

Hot Cop is a quick dirty read. IF you are not into that, then this book is not for you. A hot dirty "taboo" read that leaves nothing to the imagination, making you want more. This Hot Cop has no problem, "protecting and serving" his charge. Climb on in and witness the fun.
