Can He Be Good Enough For Her?

Jared has had one of the worst childhoods that anyone could have and survive. Crime, alcohol, drugs and murder all over. he can't even escape from it within his own family.  When his closest friend dies he realises that he has to get out, try something new and honest otherwise he can see his own death.  After saying goodbye to his friends he is on the pavement when a well dressed man stops and asks him for directions. Now he isn't exactly sure of the place but helps the man in the correct general direction and the man says if he's interested in some work to meet him there today.  Jared can't believe that such a well spoken man would even approach him never mind ask for help!  So he gets up and goes to meet Alex.  This city boy is going to go far away from his 'home' so he can make a fresh start all the way to Wyoming.  At Alex's family home he meets his sister Darby who is stunning and classy and who also seems to hate Jared at first sight!  But Alex points out a few truths to Darby and she goes to apologise to Jared and finds out that he isn't the person that she thought he was.  Darby recognises that Jared is a good man and the more she does get to know him the more attractive and charming and sexy she finds him. But as Darby is a solicitor, Jared doesn't think he's good enough for her - but as far as she is concerned - HE IS!!!  As the book continues we see Jared maturing and Darby recognising traits that she feels are very attractive in him.  Life must go on and with hard work, can Jared and Darby actually have a chance at a real relationship or is he destined to be the lowly cowboy and her the lofty solicitor??  Can their passion and love for one another overcome all adversities?  Such a well written storyline by Aria Ford and her characters are so interesting with the diverse occupations and their doubts.  It is a beautiful story that I will re-read as it is so good.  get yourself a copy and enjoy too! I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

This story is about Jarad who has been given a second chance on life! Jared left home at 14 and lived on the streets in LA and joined a gang, his life has been anything but easy. One day his friends dies and Jared decides he needs to leave this life and on a normal night Alex walks by and offers him a chance to work and then another job needing him to relocate to Wyoming and start over. They way Jared acts with Darby, Alex’s sister is interesting. He never had anyone praise or show him any positive feedback and once they get past their rocky first meeting things progress nicely for them and then real life shows up and causes them some issues. Darby is a lawyer and Jared is a cowboy. Jared tells himself that he is not good enough for Darby and what will everyone in Darby’s life say about her being with someone that’s a cowboy? Can these two find love with one another and move forward with each other? Will Jared’s past keep him there or will Darby help him move on and be a man he can be proud of? I read this book as part of an arc program. I really liked this book about a young man named Jared who leaves the gang life behind and tries to start over. When Jared meets Darby at a family reunion his friend Alex invited him too. Alex found Jared on the streets and helped him start over. Darby is Alex's sister and when she first meets Jared, they do not get along. Darby is a lawyer and a workaholic. Darby is attracted to Jared, but she thinks he is only a cowboy and knows he has a past, although she doesn't know the whole story. Darby worries what anyone would think of Jared and tries to deny her feelings. Jared thinks Darby is too good for him, he wants to be with her, but doesn't think she could ever want him. They give into their attraction after fighting it, only to wonder what next? I really liked this story, I liked how Jared wanted to better himself. Darby worried too much about what everyone else would think. I think it really could have stood in her way of happiness. Good one.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I really enjoyed this latest book by Aria Ford. Jerad and Darby were a great couple. Though they came from very different backgrounds they are able to connect on a deeper level and help one another get past what they think others may judge them on. Jerad has had a rough life and is trying to get past it and make something of himself. Darby is trying to build her self confidence with her ex did a job of lowering by the way he spoke to her. Making her feel less than worthy of someone carrying for her. The biggest obstacle they face is being accepted as a couple by people who feel they are not matched socially. Jerad also has to deal with his past when it comes knocking. This is a well written story with a couple who has great chemistry. Loved the HEA

A book of short length and very well written. Nice storyline and plot. Characters are well described and they develop nicely through the story. Their chemistry is amazing and the passion hot. They are likeable. Two completely different characters meets and they have instant attraction but can they make it work.

The story flows nicely of the pages and keeps you on the edge just wanting to read on and know what happens next. The mix of emotions, mafia, drama, sadness, revenge, romance and more makes it worth the read. This story is not only about the hot scenes but it has heart in it. Absolutely an amazing mix.

I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. Enjoyable read. A fantastic romance and love story with heart and hotness.

I liked this well written story with some twists.
Even if there are some violent scenes, the romance stays maybe a little too sweet between the characters, with some sex scenes : their main problem is how will react the others to their relation because they aren’t from the same social circle, and, they think they doesn’t deserve each other. Then Jared is identified because of his past and he has to fight another problem (no spoiler) : Jared is an ancient gang’s member and, to escape his life, he became a cowboy, and Darby is a lawyer.

Aria has written a great story of love and overcoming the barriers and social differences in life with the one you love. Darby is a lawyer who grudgingly went to a family gathering and was trying to get away from it as soon as possible. Jarad is a man who had grown up with a father who abused his mother and was in a gang. He was helped, by Darby’s brother, to get a chance for a new life working on a ranch. When the two met life was never the same for either of them. It’s one of the best romance novels I’ve read and highly recommend it to everyone who loves true romance stories. First impressions are often misleading, but first reactions may be more reliable. When Jared and Darby first meet, they irritate each other, but neither can forget the other, nor how attractive they find each other. Then Jared comes to Darby’s rescue and their attraction gets full reign.
But Darby can’t seem to fret over what people would think of her being with someone like Jared, and he can’t stop thinking that he’d never be good enough for Darby. Oh my! I voluntarily reviewed this Advance Reader Copy.

I really enjoyed this book. A wonderful, well written story that engages and entertains. I loved Jared and Darby. They were so realistic and so easy to identify with. The chemistry between them was very hot. A great story about making mistakes, trying to make things right, first impressions and learning to look deeper. A beautiful blend of heat and heart. Just a really fun, emotional book that was such a pleasure to read.

Jared's the ultimate bad boy, but yet so gorgeous. He's trying to put his past behind him and working on a second chance. He falls for Darby, a friends sister. They are from opposite sides of the tracks, but the attraction is there. A moving story with lots of twists and surprises. An emotional roller coaster that was well written. “First Impressions” is the story of two completely different people who some how connect. These complex characters include Darby a beautiful snobbish lawyer and Jared the product of a difficult life with a dysfunctional family. This emotional romance grabs your attention with how Jared and Darcy overcome their past and how they learn to trust. “First Impressions” a well-written, emotional romance is definitely worth reading.

This was a really sweet read I really liked Jared and Darby story they had lots of chemistry but both of them had lots of baggage and it left them with lots of issues trusting while I just loved Jared at times I found her to be really stuck up at time and I really did not like that she did not want anyone to know they were together she did grow on me though.This was a really good read it was well written and had me pulled right into the book from the first couple of chapters.

Jared grew up in a dysfunctional family, an abusive father and an mother who was an alcoholic. He ended up in the streets of L.A as a gang member.
Darby a lawyer is socially awkward and self conscious after being verbally abused by her ex boyfriend. The two meet at a family gathering are instantly attracted to each other.
First Impressions by Aria Ford is a heartfelt romance that will have you cheering for the two characters as they overcome their fears.

This was a good story, and I really enjoyed it. I loved Jared and was rooting for him the whole time. However, Darby took a little while to grow on me. The two together did have good chemistry though. I liked seeing them come together. This was a well written story that I would recommend.

One day he meets Darby his friend sister. the chemistry between the two of them is strong but Darby is a lawyer and she is to good for him. Is there hope for the two of them and can he keep her safe from his past ? This book was amazing so emotional and beautiful written. I really liked Jarad a fantastic man. I couldn't put it down. it had it all and I loved it
