DNF - While mostly informative, the writing style left a lot to be desired. The paragrahs read like bullet points, one sentence for a thought and not well blended. Seemed like the author was over using big words to sound intelligent. There were many redundancies, too - for instance: "went to trial in a court of law", like where else are you going to be put on trial - at the local grocery store? I wish this would have been edited or something because I would have like to read more. I just couldn't take it.
This was a very powerful book that deals with the end of life for criminals who went way too far with their crimes. The book is presented very well and the information is interesting. For anyone that's curious about the happenings at the Moundsville penitentiary in West Virginia, this is one of the best books.
Very interesting look into the executions that were performed at the prison. Just wish the stories of the inmates were a bit longer. All in all a good book.
