“There’s my girl, always coming to my defense.”

When everything in Marcus’s life turns to shit, there is only one person he can count on, Carrie, except years of standing by his side, his assistant decides it’s finally time to move on.
"She loved this man more than anything, and watching him waste himself on an endless string of plastic beauty-queen wannabes was slowly sucking the life out of her."

When the story broke of Marcus’s lifestyle choice, Carrie becomes intrigued wanting to experience the life of kink under Marcus’s hand. He finds a way to make it work for the both of them, one weekend to be his sub, and if she agrees he will let her out of her work contract. If one weekend is all that Marcus could give her, she will take it and cherish every single second. Marcus needs to be the one to teach Carrie, he can’t imagine another man touching what he has considered his, but his feelings get in the way, confused by it all, not sure what to do
“It would help if I knew what the fuck this is.”

His friend laughed. “Oh, I think it’s pretty clear, buddy. She owns you, heart, soul and cock.”

Carrie’s answer was a fun sexy read, different take on arranged sexual play. I loved how Carrie was strong but sweet, always standing up for him even when he stopped fighting, stopped caring. Even though Marcus bank account and bed was never empty, his heart was and Daniel being the amazing friend he is knew Carrie was exactly what he needed, all Marcus needs is a push in the right direction. I really enjoyed it, but the ending drama kinda had me rolling my eyes a bit, but there is a hot ménage scene to make up for it … lol

I read this as part of a series read for a Goodreads group. And I really enjoyed it! I thought it was going to start off with a bang when Marcus is arriving home on his anniversary, ready to have a threesome with his wife and best friend since his wife had asked for it. Marcus and Daniel had shared Karen a few times before Marcus and Karen married, and had shared women plenty of times before that. But Daniel had a thing about marital vows, so Marcus had to talk Daniel into it. Anyway, Marcus walks in to his house, expecting fireworks, but got fireworks of another kind -- his wife talking to Daniel, basically spilling all of her true feelings, which were the opposite of what Marcus had thought. He was crushed, and in the ensuing divorce, Karen dragged him and his family name through the mud.

Five years later, Marcus is just going through the motions of life. But when he spots his assistant of ten years, Carrie, in the BDSM club he co-owns, he flips a little bit, realizes his attraction for his assistant, and sends her home. Which pisses Carrie off to no end. After Karen outed Marcus's sexual proclivities to the world, Carrie had gotten interested in BDSM. And she's loved Marcus from afar. But now she thinks she will (a) never have him but can't bear to watch the stream of women in his life, and (b) never be able to explore this untested side of herself while she's in Marcus's employ, so she resigns. Marcus reacts by reminding her of the contract she's under, and offers her a way out by spending the weekend with him and submitting totally. So she agrees, thinking that at least she'll have the memories when the weekend is over. And the weekend goes better than either of them could have guessed.

I really liked how Daniel sort of forced Marcus's hand in his dealings with Carrie. Daniel saw both sides of the attraction, but Marcus had shut his heart off after what happened with Karen. Or at least his conscious mind shut it off. His subconscious obviously wanted Carrie. But I also loved how Carrie passed every test Marcus threw at her, even when she had no idea she was being tested. I loved how she submitted in the bedroom, but Marcus needed her to be the Carrie he'd always known outside the bedroom, and that Carrie helped Marcus to heal. And I loved that while what Karen did to Marcus had wounded his pride, what he thought Carrie did broke his heart. I was glad to ultimately see Marcus find happiness again, and Carrie to get what she longed for without losing herself in the process.

Great story. On to the next one, where Marcus's ice princess sister apparently thaws. There was a lot of alluding to the psychological number their father had done on her. I hope we'll find out more about it in the next one.

This is what they meant by erotic romance.

Carrie's Answer has all the elements of the traditional romance genre (tender, sweet, compelling characters struggling through some sort of hurdle to be together) but it has the BDSM and brief ménage (m/f/m) twist to add the erotic spice readers are looking for. Not the raw, edgy somewhat dark BDSM story I am used to, this one is loving and endearing.

Carrie Worthington has held a torch for her boss, Marcus Worthington, since going to work for him. For the past ten years, she stood by him through the highs and lows, especially the low point of his divorce when his ex-wife publicized his lifestyle as a Dom. Still, Marcus never sees her as anything other than his secretary. That is, until he spots her at the local BDSM-themed club. Unable to deal with his newfound lust he terminates her employment.

But Carrie fights back. She has a contract and if he wants out, he has to give her one weekend to be trained by him to be a submissive. And that's when the sparks turn into a roaring blaze.

Marcus has been hurt before, and I could relate to his desire to protect his heart and keep a barrier up. He's been the clueless fool one too many times and he keeps expecting Carrie to be the same. Poor Carrie has waited long enough and I love how she took the reins to claim her man. She wasn't going to let him chase her away. Whatever he wanted, she was there, submitting to all his needs and desires.

I think my favorite part was when he gave her a simple velvet collar to wear for the weekend and she just about melted. Me, too.

This story is the first in the series The Worthington Group. We did meet some other characters, but for the most part Carrie and Marcus dominated the action. The pacing was quick. The sex was written incredibly well. And the characters had undeniable chemistry. I've already bought books two and three, so clearly I'm sold on the series.

I enjoyed having a sweeter side to a BDSM story. I love my raw, dark, edgy characters, but this was a fun excursion. It's pretty much loving, sensual BDSM that would be easy tolerated by those unfamiliar with the genre. Enjoy!

Actually this was much better than I anticipated. I thought it would be a good, if a bit shorter, novel. It turned out to be really quite good with excellent characters and VERY well done sex scenes. Carrie's internal speak is quite nice as well - it's not overdone and she never comes off as needy even though she's loved him for so many years. She epitomizes the strong submissive - I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. This one is going on my recommend list to others!

This was a surprising treat! It's a sorta traditional BDSM romance with the familiar experienced Dom introducing the innocent sub to his lifestyle. There is a menage with his long-time best friend, but it's handled in a different way than usual. I'm not a huge fan of the addition of a third for kink's sake (meaning, ok with it when it's a full on committed relationship, but not just to kink up the sex). But here the heor is trying to prove something to himself and to her. The hero is betrayed by his wife, whom he luuurrrved so much, and ridiculed for his sexual preferences - ie, the whole BDSM deal. She prefers his best friend, who has joined them in some sexual adventures. So he comes out of the marriage feeling second-rate to the friend and that his sexuality is less than ok. He never seems to contemplate changing those preferences, though, and continues to be active in the scene and in threesomes with best bud. And best bud is pretty cool, too, it should be noted. Enter heroine - except, she's been around for some TEN YEARS! Seriously, as the story unfolds, the reader realizes along with goofball hero that he's actually had feelings for her all along. Feelings that the best bud recognized and so there's the "cute meet". Hero ends up being all MINE after the menage and declares that he will never share her again, which I liked. I wish heroine had somehow conveyed her own personal limits in the story somewhere, as I did come away thinking, she'll do anything for him, he could get away with anything.

Hardcore BDSMers aren't gonna like this story. This is soft, easy, fluffy BDSM. In fact, there's a scene where he realizes he's "making love" to her and it's all soft and sweet and gentle caresses and in his mind this is elevated beyond what they do when they get kinky. Not sure I agree with that, not sure how I feel about that concept. If that kink is your thing, all intimate moments should be a treasure based on the fact that you are with your One True Love - as opposed to vanilla sex somehow conveying his love/devotion to her more than the kink they do together.

What I really really liked about this book: The big bad ass Dom thinks she's left him at one point. And he freakin' LOSES it. So many times with the alpha males and/or Doms we never get those "oh crap, my life is over if I can't have her" scenes and those are so wonderfully angsty. For me as a reader, it helps me understand that the hero really does see the heroine differently than all his previous partners. It's wonderful and take a story to the next level, for me. So, author, thanks for that.

This is a standalone, but seems like there either are some connected stories that were hinted at. I'll be looking them up. Author def on my watch list.

A sizzling erotic romance!

Carrie Anderson has been in love with her boss, Marcus, for years even though he only sees her as a trusted employee. When his desire for her gets too uncomfortable for him, Marcus fires Carrie who in turn blackmails him into a weekend of eye opening sex and much more.

This is top notch romantica and definitely one of the best BDSM stories I have read in a long time. Unfortunately it is not without faults that kept building up until one finally broke the camel's back and dropped a smoking sexy story from four star 're-readable love' classification to three stars, 'good but too flawed to revisit' section.

What makes this an above average romantica instead of the typical 'Dear Playboy' style which is usually the norm of the genre is that the well written sex serves to enhance the story. So where does it go wrong? When it tries to be 'more' than just a top notch romantica.

There are several sections of 'telling' that attempted to give more depth than was required. It felt like there was a lot of effort to point out, 'See! we have character! Not just sex' and my response was, 'But I knew you had character. You don't have to hit me over the head with it repeatedly'.

There were also some heavy handed trails to the sequel bait that was distracting instead of interesting. Some word choices also were questionable but that's solely on me. I admit to being picky. (Though 'weeping flesh' makes me think Zombie Porn.)

These 'faults' sat in the back of my mind throughout the story but it didn't bother me enough to be thrown completely out of the story. What did finally jar me was the 'Big Mis' that happens with only about 10% left of the story. I actually stopped and said, "Are you *effing* kidding me? Really?" After that, no amount of well written sex could take me back to the 'love' category.

This is a well written and hot BDSM story with minor irritations that near the end became impossible to overlook and ultimately took away from my enjoyment of the overall story. I do recommend this for fans of erotica, especially BDSM, but with the caveat that although the sex is well written, aspects of the writing and story may detract from the overall escapist enjoyment.

This book was flat with cliche characters and a rather contrived misunderstanding to add what little tension there was. Carrie is a curvy, long suffering, cheerleader type secretary of 10 years to Marcus Worthington. She is inexperienced in BDSM. Marcus is a stereotypical Dom, who is rich, and refuses to love again after a betrayal by the wife he should never have married in the first place.

I felt like there must have been a book before this one where we get some back story - but this is the first in the series. The BDSM scenes were rather bland - and not all that hot. The dialog rather stilted and forced sounding. There's no communication about what will happen in a scene, no negotiation and Carrie simply takes whatever is dished out (to be fair, she does have a safe word). Carrie gives and Marcus takes while continually asking her if she trusts him. There isn't anything particularly heavy in the BDSM, but emotionally Carrie is treated rather shabbily IMO.

Ultimately, I just didn't care much about any of the characters, or their HEA.

This was a great book !
But I have a feeling that my favorite in the series is going to be Daniel's book! I just fell in love with him!! Not to mention how much I live a good menage book! and this is shaping up to be a great series!!!
But I don't know about Meri, I don't really like her right now so I don't know if I'm going to read her book or just skip it altogether.. We'll see I guess because I'm intrigued by her story, I mean who doesn't love a tortured soul but I didn't like her attitude with her brother
Like I said .. We'll see

Paint-by-numbers storyline, complete with angry-boner-man Dom and plodding storytelling (he said this, she thought that). It may have picked up in the second half, but by then I was too bored to care. Did not finish. I won't be looking for more by this author.

Marcus is a very wealthy man. His family has a well known, profitable company. He has it all, money, fame, and a new wife that he loves dearly. He is headed home from a business to trip to meet his wife, and best friend. Marcus invited his best friend to join in for a little kinky celebration of their one year anniversary. Daniel has joined them before, but never since they have been married. Marcus convinces him that it will be fine. Once he arrives home he walks to witness his wife trying to seduce his friend. Before she realizes he is there, he overhears her saying some nasty things. Some of which include that she can't stand his kinky games, or even the thought of him touching her. After being caught she confesses that love is not apart of their marriage. She married him because she knew that his last name attached to hers, would allow her many opportunities as an attorney she wouldn't of had otherwise. He divorces her immediately, but never recovers from the betrayal. The Viper (well named by Marcus friends, and family) proceeds to drag his name through the mud, outing his Dominant side, and embellishing her stories for more news worthy material. Five years later, Marcus still guards his heart. He sees women, but never allows them to get too close.
Carrie Anderson has been Marcus' secretary for ten years. She has always had a crush on him, but knows she is way out of his league. He usually goes for the skinny blondes, and she isn't one of them. When she walks into the local BDSM club, Marcus has to fight every instinct of his not to drag her out by her hair. He does make her leave, but manages to hold off the inner caveman. His response to her being there is explained away, as he thinks she is too innocent to be there. He wouldn't dare admit that the thought of her with another Dom there makes him jealous.
Carrie is furious that he made her leave the club. She is not at work, so therefore can go anywhere she pleases. After Marcus response, and the never ending women she deals with on Marcus' behalf she decides that it's time to put in her two weeks notice. Her notice is a blow to Marcus' stability. She has always been there, knows him well, and stood by his side while the media had a field day at his expense. He can't imagine her being with any other Dom, and agrees to let her out of her contract if she will spend the weekend with him. He will show her the ropes, so that he knows she is being taken care of.
What neither of them expect, is that when the weekend is nearing it's end, neither of them are ready to leave. Marcus decides to ask her to stay, and even acknowledges his feelings for her. He leaves her sleeping to get breakfast and finds her gone when he returns. She tried to tell him that her sister went into labor, and the next flight out was in a couple of hours, but his phone was breaking up. She doesn't have time to wait, but never guesses that he couldn't hear his end of the conversation.
He tries everything to contact her, and finally reaches her a week later at her house. He demands to know why she left him, and after her initial shock, they discuss the events. Of course they move in together, get married, and live happily ever after. :)

Read 2017
(Review written 2023)

Read during my BDSM phase.
⭐⭐ Given a 2-star (okay) rating.
(My 2023 rating would be a single star.)

Carrie was Marcus' secretary for 10 years, while he was married. But then he gets divorced and has sex with other women for 5 years. Carrie is in love with him the whole time, while she has to send flowers to his many women. When she goes to his BDSM club, he kicks her out. The next day he wants her to send flowers to yet another woman, and she refuses. He fires her. She says that she's going to sue him because she has a 2-year contract. She gives him an out.

"You want me gone," she noted his slight flinch with satisfaction. "I'll go on one condition.
Spend the weekend with me." She didn't even try to meet his eyes, afraid of what she might see there. "Teach me what it means to submit to a Dom who knows what he's doing." Oh, God, What if he was laughing at her? "Show me the things I went to Velvet Ice to learn, and by Sunday night if you still want me to leave the company, I will."
The silence that filled the room felt like an anvil on her chest. She couldn't quite believe she'd gone through with it, but she was tired of waiting. She wanted Marcus Worthington, and she was ready to fight for him.

☹️ Ugh, I hate it when women have no self respect and are willing to do whatever it takes to get a man! I have no clue at this point, why Carrie is in love with or so desperate for Marcus. He's rich & handsome, but that seemed to be ALL that he had going for him.

Carrie blackmails Marcus into being with her.
"So, do I clear out my desk and call my lawyer or not?"

A sex scene soon follows with a demand for instant obedience. No discussion. No rules. No safe word. No thanks! 😠

Other issues I had due to lousy writing:
✘ The characters were 2-dimensional (not like real people).
✘ The story lacked depth, details & descriptions.
✘ As an erotic smut book, it failed to entice or arouse. (The sex talk and scenes were too porny for my tastes.)
✘ The BDSM was fake and badly portrayed.
✘ I had no interest in the story, the characters, or what happened to them.

Dark fantasies and extreme emotions are the foundation of Carrie’s Answer. Sierra and VJ Summers write a BDSM romance with an intensity that will grip readers by their throats and won’t let go until the last page.

Marcus Worthington is a business mogul with some very dark tastes in the bedroom and a need to ultimately dominate his partner. Marcus has lost faith in himself and worries that he will never find a woman who will love him and his dark fantasies. Then his assistant, Carrie, resigns and he finds himself wondering if she could be the one woman who could fulfill his fantasies.

Carrie Anderson is a woman who wants to be dominated by a man in the bedroom, specifically by Marcus, her boss. Carrie has heard rumors of Marcus’ kinks and wants him to explore them with her. However Marcus has very strong opinions on office relationships and Carrie knows unless she quits, she will never have the opportunity to submit to the one man she loves.

Sierra and VJ Summers have written an intense BDSM romance with a believable plot and extremely emotional points of view for both main characters. I like the premise of two days to explore the BDSM relationship between Marcus and Carrie to see if they are suited and the fact that Marcus isn’t a slime ball boss trying to take advantage of Carrie. The scenes between the two lovers were very erotic and graphically written that it had me turning the pages in anticipation of the next scene. This book was very serious, and had little relief from the emotions of the characters, making this a very powerful read. On a personal level I could have used a little levity but ultimately that would take away from the overall intensity I think the authors were trying to portray.

If a reader is looking for an emotionally intense romance with a little kink thrown into the mix than this book is a must have. I am definitely looking forward to seeing what Sierra and VJ Summers come out with next.

My review cross-posted from Joyfully Reviewed: http://www.joyfullyreviewed.com/new-r...

Having been betrayed and nearly ruined by his now-ex-wife, Marcus Worthington trusts no woman. Except, perhaps, his assistant, Carrie Anderson. Then Marcus spots Carrie at the BDSM club Velvet Ice, and the mix of shock and arousal causes him to make a mess of his professional relationship with Carrie, who resigns. Realizing he’s about to lose the one woman he wants but has never claimed, Marcus strikes a bargain with her. If she gives him one weekend to show her the pleasures Domination and submission have to offer, he’ll let her go. Too late, Marcus begins to see that one weekend with Carrie will never, ever be enough.

Indulge your fantasies with the too-hot-for-words Carrie’s Answer. Authors Sierra and VJ Summers have delivered a scorching romance that will have readers clamoring for more.

Carrie is a wonderful heroine, one you’d love to be friends with, were she real. She’s caring, has a generous heart, and doesn’t back down from Marcus. Marcus is a man still scarred by his evil ex-wife, and as a result he messes up with Carrie more than once. One of the highlights of Carrie’s Answer is Marcus’s personal journey. Watching him learn how to trust and open his heart to Carrie was simply wonderful. Carrie teaches him how to show his love again and Marcus teaches her about the world of Domination and submission. And man, oh man, are Marcus’s lessons hot! Keep a fan handy when reading Carrie’s Answer.

Carrie’s Answer is the first book in Sierra and VJ Summers’ Corporate Affairs series, and this fabulous author duo definitely has me eager to read the other two Worthington siblings’ stories. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed Carrie’s Answer and I cannot wait to read Meredith’s Awakening and Daniel’s Surrender!

I was completely blown away! I loved this book. I was just so amazed and impressed with how much of a connection I had to the characters in this book. I will admit it did start when the hero mentioned looking across at Windsor, ON from the Detroit river front. I’m from Windsor, ON so I felt an instant connection to the characters but also the authors. I have been to most of the locations they talked about in the book.

Marcus, as the hero, was everything you want in a dom. He was strong but yet soft at the same. He just needed Carried to figure out what he really needed in life. Carrie may look innocent but she really is not. They were the right mix of spicy and sweet. I was enchanted by their love story. It made me enjoy their uber hot sex scenes even more.

Often when I’m reading books about the BDSM world I find the plot to be unbelievable because the characters do not seem to be real and more plastic than anything. It is very hard to have a good story line where the sex scenes come at the right times rather than the story being secondary to the sex scenes. When the story line is secondary the story doesn’t seem real. In Carrie’s Answer we have Carrie who has been in love with her boss for years and she gets the chance to spend the weekend with him in his world of BDSM. She has to make a choice of being with him totally or not at all.

The author does an excellent job at making this reader feel the emotions of Carrie. Carrie has loved Marcus for so long and she is scared of all the ramifications of starting a relationship with him. The story line has both characters going through real emotions in regards to starting a relationship and whether or not they should continue this relationship.

Wow, that was really good - how had I missed this authour?

We have a familiar story of a high powered executive and his faithful PA. In this case, it isn't an immediate attraction, but they have been together several years and both a little dense on their attraction. He was married and burned deeply by his wife's betrayal. It brought his sex life, and BDSM activities, into the media. She was steadfast in protecting her boss

Fast forward a few years, and she decides to explore her submissive side at the club he attends. He overreacts and she has had enough and tenders her resignation - who is he to dictate her activities outside work? He makes her a deal, spend a weekend with him as his submissive and then she can leave. He has her under contract and will fight her otherwise. She agrees

The weekend has all sorts of hotness involved, but also a whole lot of emotion on both sides. They are both in over their heads and arrive at this conclusion at different times and in different ways. The journey is fraught with landmines, on both sides, and emotional traps

It is a wonderful journey, and while the sex is hot, the emotions are real as well. I devoured this in one sitting, it was that good!

What is it with these romance novels and major assholes? I'm so fucking sick and tired of it. Blackmail is blackmail, no matter how you put it, and in my book it is never okay to blackmail a woman into sleeping with you. It is sleazy and wrong.

So Markus is rich and handsome - because of course he is - and has the hots for his assistant, Carrie. After a messy divorce he has lost his trust in women and blah, blah, blah. When Carrie shows up at the BDSM club he frequents (not to be with him or anything), he freaks out, drags her out and acts like a major douchebag. So Carrie hands in her resignation, but Markus, being an asshole, threatens to hold her to her contract.
“She’s under contract and I politely reminded her of that little fact. I said the only way I would accept her resignation was if she spent the weekend with me so that I could teach her how to be a submissive.”

That's his "compromise":
“You spend the weekend with me and I’ll let you out of your contract.”

That is blackmail. Blackmail is never okay!
So. DNF on page 54.

This book was very hot. I like the authors style of writing.

Now for what I didn't like, she waited for 5 years, seriously, watching him with other women, sending them the flowers. Yikes, do women really do that????

What made up for it a little is he didn't want to share her, but did. So she got some pay back.

The sex was totally hot! I liked how she thought about using her safe word, and then figured out what was going on and straight up said she wasn't his ex-wife.

However, when he pulled out the "huge" dildo and she clearly thought it was to big, yet he knew it would be okay...didn't love that part but again I was picturing a King Dong Dildo which is larger than life lol and not a turn on to me.

Overall, a really enjoyable read and I will be reading the next one in the series.

Three and a half stars.

This is book one of the Worthington group and it looks like a very promising series.

Marcus Worthington finds out his wife was a bitch on their second anniversary. He always thought that she understood he was a Dom, but found out that she saw him as a pervert. Five years later, in totally Dom mode, he sees his assistant inside the club. Even though he has lusted for her forever, she being inside the club changed things. He finally felt permitted to act upon his feelings. Of course, he has to manage to do that without offering his heart.

The story is a big cliche, but it works in the way the authors wrote it. The moments between Dom and sub are endearing, and the main female self-discovery into submission is enlightened.

I will keep on reading this series and I'm very excited from what is to come.

This was a decent read. I felt like the characters could use a bit more development, and I would have liked to see Carrie have a bit more spunk. Although the sex scenes were definitely steamy, the BDSM elements in them just seemed rather bland. My biggest concern was that he keeps asking her to trust him to know what she likes, but yet he admits to not knowing much about her at all nor does he negotiate any scenes with her to find out what she likes in order to push her boundaries. I liked Daniel's roll in the story, and I do look forward to seeing him find someone. :) I would have liked a bit more back story with his sister Meredith, because right now I think he was overly harsh to her. Anyhoo... like I said an overall decent read.

Really excellent erotic romance (or romantic erotica, either way, definitely romance), with just a few editing/punctuation/grammar/spelling-type imperfections.

I'm kind of in awe of how Ms. Summers manages to fit *so* much heat, erotica, character development, and romance into such a tight little package. This is one of those books that, as an aspiring writer, I'm really a bit jealous and wish I could pull that off. Plus, she handles the whole BDSM thing nicely, but with less structure as, say, the Shadowlands books by Sinclair. There were enough hints dropped about other characters in this book that I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

I'd rate this story between a 1.5 and 2 stars. I found the story was well written from a editing and flow point of view. The plot was lackluster. It didn't grab me and hold me. It wasn't a book so boring or annoying that I couldn't finish it but it also wasn't one I couldn't put down. I think I finished just because I'd started it and figured why not.

I felt the characters were every one dimensional. A great deal of the time I felt that Carrie was just filler. Other than Marcus needed a sub for the story to work she really held no purpose.

Overall I was not impressed with this book.

Not bad

After Marcus divorces his shrew of an ex wife Karen he is left with his personal sexual nature putted to the press. With the help of his family and his personal assistant Carrie he gets his life back on track, but he is changed. Carrie has been with Marcus through it all and has always been attracted to him. But when she decides to explore his wold of BDSM, he freaks.

The story is alright and the pace is good, I just wish there was more of back story between the characters and more details between their budding relationships. The sex scenes were wonderful, but there could have been more of them.

A great read with a Dom who takes precautions when the one he wants is about to slip through his fingers.
Carrie´s given Marcus her two weeks notice, but to let her walk away from his business and the work contract, he demands she´ll spend the weekend with him and finally experience what he can offer as a Dom, what submitting really means.
Can either of them really walk away after this weekend?
Smutty fluff, BDSM and two people finally realizing what they´ve got in each other.
Would have been a 5 star read but the ending was a bit quick and confusing.

This was a good freebie. Almost kinda like the Grey series in the content, but shorter and maybe not as heavy. There was some spots I didn't really favor, but overall an ok book. I liked the emotional plot and the ending was good. Plenty of steamy scenes, of this variety, good emotions, good flow and written well. I probably won't end up reading this again. Good for passing time or something to read. Worth getting but not something I would probably pay for, not much to my preferences, but good for others who would like it. Good luck

This is book one of the Worthington group and I will read more. I believe it was around 200 pages or so and there was a lot of action packed into the book, even with my preference of longer stories. It's a classic girl (or woman) wants man and man wants girl but can't admit it to his self after a bad history with one woman. It's a quick easy read with a delightful story. There is BDSM elements but I felt they were on the lighter side.
