“Dare to be brave. The miraculous follows the brave.”
Beautiful thoughts about life, self worth, and the ultimate journey.
“For me, life often feels like a Ferris Wheel. Sometimes, I am on it, enjoying the view, enjoying the ride. Other times, I am dizzy, it is going too fast, it is all too much. Most often, I am simply watching it from the side, waiting for a chance to get on. The longer I wait, the harder it is. Because I start to wonder what it's all about, and who I am, and that maybe, I would just rather go for a walk in the forest instead.”
There were times I felt either I wrote this myself, or she wrote this about me. It is relatable to anyone who has ever dreamt to become something other than who they are right now. It is for anyone who wants to love themselves. It is for anyone who has ever felt that they weren't good enough.
As someone who is currently recovering from mental illness, this book really spoke to me. It was very well written and I connected with it on a deeper level emotionally. The only issue was a few spelling errors throughout the book. 5/5 Stars - Ignoring the spelling errors, an absolutely amazing poetry collection.
love love love! very well written. some hitting in the feels. probably my most highlighted poetry book thus far into the year. need to read their other works
overall review: ‧₊˚to be honest i didnt have much expectations for this so i wasn’t really disappointed. i wanted to start reading poetry and this was the first one i saw that was available on kindle unlimited. some of these poems really hit me and resonated and others of them i felt like i was reading someone’s middle school journal. wasn’t great but wasnt horrible so a middle rating for this. i have read much worse poety, but also some much better than this.
