Trước đây khi mà Phim chuyển thể được ra mắt, mình và hai đứa bạn thân đều xem :)) cảm thấy nó bạo gì đâu. Mà Phim chuyển thể lại chỉ có mỗi Phần một này, nên chỉ có duy nhất mình đọc sách và biết cái kết của toàn bộ. :'))
Sau Bất khả kháng lực thì với ma lực khác mình đã đọc A Round Trip to Love ปลายทางแห่งรัก เล่ม 1 . Má ơi! Cách bắt đầu tình yêu nó ưng gì đâu, vừa buồn-cười vừa tràn ngập "ấy" (tới bây giờ đọc lại mình mới hiểu rõ :))
Nhưng không thể thiếu sự tàn bạo của xã hội kì thị LGBT lúc bấy giờ - dẫn đến sự chia cắt. Sau đó là những diễn biến lắc léo.
Thú thật là cốt truyện "ngược" cực chi tàn bạo, tình yêu mà Lục Phong dành cho Diệc Thần luôn mãnh liệt nhưng không phải "chung thủy" - thứ mình thấy thực tế (trừ motip tổng tài.)

I watched the movie adaption of this series last week because I love pretty men and really really messed up relationships, in that order, and it has both (seriously, they're so pretty)
I'm conflicted. On one hand, I think that the overall story in the novel is much better done since it actually has time to show a bunch of details that help to build up all of the character relationships instead of having to rush from plot point to plot point like the movie. (Trying to fit a 600 page story into 2 hours is never going to go well) However, on the other hand, I absolutely cannot stand this novel version of Lu Feng.
Despite the fact that he did some absolutely horrific things in the movie adaption, by the end, I could still feel a tiny bit of sympathy for him considering all the hardships he went through. His actions were not forgivable, but I at least believed that he was once a decent person (I mean he was a bit of an entitled asshole but he was a teenager and teenagers are the worst) who became a monster because of his circumstances. In the novel though, he's a complete scumbag from the very beginning, becomes more of a scumbag by the end of this volume (and we haven't even reached the end of the movie's timeline), and I already know things are only going to get worse from here.
In the movie (when it reached the same part of the story as where this volume ended) I was actually kind of mad at Xiao Chen for being so rash and not giving Lu Feng a chance even though they clearly still love each other so much, choosing to bow to society's expectations instead of standing up for himself. But in the novel, I was already silently yelling at him to get the heck away from Lu Feng by like 30% into the volume, and I'm just baffled that the story is even continuing past this point. Seriously, dude, where is your sense of self-preservation?
Still, I do love a trainwreck of a romance so onto the next one!

โดยส่วนตัวแล้วสนุกค่ะ แต่เป็นความสนุกแบบหน่วงๆ กับคำถามที่ว่า ทำไมพระเอก - นายเอก มันไม่จับเข่าคุยกันตั้งนานแล้ว แล้วทำไมคนรอบข้างมันช่างเผือกอะไรเช่นนี้??? เป็นเรื่องราวแนวดราม่า ที่มีความสุข เศร้า เหงา เจ็บ ปนๆ กันไป อารมณ์เหมือนกินขนมที่ชอบแต่ดันไปกัดโดนปากโดนลิ้นจนเลือดไหล ทั้งเจ็บ ทั้งอร่อย แต่ก็ไม่อยากคายออก ชีวิตพระเอกกับนายเอกค่อนข้างจะสวนทางกันไปมา เหมือนทำบุญมาด้วยกัน แต่ลืมจุดธูป กวดน้ำหรือยังไง? พอจะมีความสุขแล้วจู่ๆ ก็โดนนักเขียนเหวี่ยงติดกำแพงแล้วเหยียบย่ำซ้ำเติมจนน้ำตาซึม หลายจังหวะ หลายช่วงชีวิตกับสิ่งที่นายเอกพบเจอ เรานี่ร้องไห้ตามเลยค่ะ ฮือออ น่าสงสารเกินไปละ ส่วนน้องนายเอก? ไม่สงสารแม้แต่กระเพียดเดียวค่อ ตรงข้ามกับรู้สึกว่าชีวิตน้องนายเอกมันจะสุขสบายไปไหม? อะไรๆ ก็ลงมาที่นายเอกตลอด กว่าจะปรับความเข้าใจและต่อจิ๊กซอว์ชิ้นสุดท้ายกับพระเอกได้นี่กุมขมับไปหลายรอบ เฮ่อออ ชีวิต! ตอนจบคนเขียนยังจะทิ้งระเบิดไว้อีก เป็นเรานี่ปิดประตูใส่ไล่กลับบ้านเลยค่ะ 55555 มาทางไหนกลับไปทางนั้นเลยนะ ไม่ต้องเข้ามายุ่งกับชีวิตคู่ของเรา

Es una historia china un danmei y todo mundo sabe que en el danmei se sufre si o si, son 2 protagonistas.
● Lu feng es de raza mixta su padre era chino y su madre estadounidense, era el tipico chico millonario al que sus padres le tapaban todo lo malo que hacia en la escuela y en la vida en general, tenía 19 cuando se conocieron y 24 cuando se reencontraron
● Xiao chen es un chico aplicado, tiene un hermano llamado yi chen y viene de una familia de clase trabajadora, era muy inteligente y por eso lo mandaron a clases avanzadas a la edad de 14 años cuando conoció a lu feng y 19 cuando se reencontraron
Ambos se conocieron en la escuela, lu feng y él se hicieron amigos por coincidencia y aunque lu feng era un imbecil, también solía ser amable y de los pocos amigos xiao tenía, así que se hicieron cercanos, pasaban el tiempo juntos, las tareas y también compitieron las vacaciones juntos, cuando decidieron empezar un noviazgo todo se complico, xiao fue forzado por lu feng y pelearon, luego todos se enteraron de su relación y los separaron, lu feng se fue a estados unidos y chen tuvo que cambiarse de escuela, así estuvo durante 3 años y aunque sus padres eran homofobicos, tuvo el apoyo de su hermano, comenzó una relación que no fue bien y se fue a la ciudad s por un comienzo nuevo, donde se reencontró con lu feng que era el gerente de la empresa donde trabajaba, tuvieron tiempo para más problemas, una Infidelidad de lu feng, xiao huyendo, abuso y golpes hasta que xiao perdono a lu feng y se fueron de vacaciones con los inicios de su relación y un nuevo inicio

November 5, 2025งานของหลันหลินหลายครั้งที่อ่านจบแล้วอึนๆ ไม่รู้จะรู้สึกยังไงดี จะบอกว่าชอบก็ไม่ใช่ จะบอกว่าไม่ชอบแต่ตอนอ่านก็หยุดไม่ได้แถมเวลาอ่านก็อยากอ่านเรื่องอื่นๆ ต่ออีก เหมือนจะเป็น toxic relationship ระหว่างเรากับหนังสือ ประมาณเจ็บแต่ก็ยังกลับมาเรื่อยๆ คล้ายๆ ตัวละครของนักเขียน... :)
เรื่องนี้เต็มไปด้วย triggers พระเอกรูปหล่อ บ้านรวย นายเอกด้อยกว่าทุกด้าน เรื่องราวเซตในยุคที่ชายรักชายยังไม่ถูกยอมรับมากเท่าไหร่ ไม่มีความโลกสวยในเรื่องนี้ ปัจจัยภายนอกและภายในทำให้พระนายทำผิดต่อกัน พระเอกทั้งรักทั้งแค้น นายเอกสะบักสะบอมทั้งกายและใจ โดยเฉพาะเรื่องหนึ่งที่พระเอกทำกับนายเอกที่ส่งผลกระทบไปถึงรุ่นลูก ความเจ็บช้ำอยู่ในระดับที่คิดไม่ออกเลยว่าจะทำใจประนีประนอมความรักที่มีให้พระเอกกับความรู้สึกผิดที่พระเอกเป็นตัวต้นเหตุได้ยังไง อ่านแล้วหน่วง อึดอัด บีบคั้น แต่นักเขียนก็ชอบกระโดดข้ามไม่พูดถึงช่วงเวลาสำคัญๆ หลายๆ ตอน ทำให้ความขยี้อารมณ์มันไปไม่สุด แอบคิดว่าถ้าลงรายละเอียดจะอ่านได้อินมากกว่านี้

Como muchxs, conocí esta historia gracias a las películas. La verdad es que ni se por donde comenzar...mientras leía me sumergía cada vez más en un mar de incertidumbre y emociones encontradas. La película "aligero" bastante toda la trama pesada de esta novela. Solo quería que nuestro protagonista buscase una manera de buscar su auto-cuidado, y eso que este no es el peor volumen de esta historia (refiriéndome a lo que le pasa al protagonista.

Desgarrador, doloroso, desesperante. La historia en sí es buenísima, te permite conocer otras perspectivas acerca de este tipo de relaciones (más tóxicas que Chernobyl). Me desgarra saber que este tipo de cosas pasan de verdad, y el final, ¡ese final! Joder, sí que lloré luego de ello. Me gustó mucho, pese a todo el sufrimiento.

No lo entiendo, la sinopsis indica tener cuidado con la lectura por acontecimientos fuertes, pero esto es de lo más suave que he leído.
Por otro lado ambos en la social Yi Chen son un amor, su historia tiene fallas pero es parte de crecer, ante todo se quieren y es bonito de leer. Pero como que fue muy simple, tal vez ya me acostumbre al drama.
