Jade's mother is alive. This revelation blew apart everything Jade thought she knew about her family, but as the days go on and everyone refuses to talk about it, she is forced to find more covert methods to discover the truth of her family's history. She enlists the help of her brother, Hugh, and best friend, Helena, to investigate the mystery, but soon the castle is flooded with new strangers, and Jade no longer knows who to trust. And in the midst of the chaos within the castle, the citizens of Regiis Avalon grow more and more unrest, and someone is trying to unbalance the crown.

About the author

S.R. Ahuja (1992) was born in Rock Island, IL where she grew up. After graduating from Augustana College in Rock Island with a degree in secondary education and English, she went right into teaching high school English. She continues to teach and live in the Illinois Quad Cities area near her family. She loves to travel whenever she gets the chance including traveling oversea with students. Her first novel, Avalon: Princess, was published in 2016.
