"Mr and Mrs No Strings Attached"
The Roommate's Baby is my new favourite book by Penny Wylder and as an added bonus it's a full length book too.
This book is a brilliant 5 star friends to lovers story that completely blew me away.
It's swoonworthy moments and fantastic chemistry between these two characters had me hooked throughout.
Cannon and Rina have been friends for years meeting in law school.
Their lives are intertwined but never on a romantic level both preferring to have no string hook ups not real relationships.
Rina has the perfect life except for the one thing she craves,a baby.
This story is crazy,swoonworthy and hot as hell and it will have you laughing out loud and maybe even shedding a tear as it leaves you with all the feels.
Sometimes you can have everything you want right under your nose and not realise it until it slaps you in the face.
Their story is definitely an interesting read and well worth binge reading as I promise you that once you start reading it you can't put it down.
It's addictive and I absolutely loved Cannon and Rina.
They were made for each other in every way.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I loved this story. Rina and Cannon are such a great couple. They portray what everyone wants; not only someone to love but a great friend who looks out for the other. Rina and Cannon are friends who met in college and now work for the same law firm. They also share an apartment. For years they have supported one and have had a platonic love for one another. That slowly changes once Cannon comes home and finds Rina upset. She explains what happened and that she wants to have a child and is willing to do it as a single mother. Cannon offeres to help her. They both know that the other is not into relationships and and feel they can keep their feelings out of it. Little do they realize that over the course of a few months their feelings will soon turn into more than just just to friends enjoying one another. This is a fabulous friends to lovers story and I loved the way it all unfolded for them. A true romance read. I also enjoyed how their friends seem to have fallen in love as well. Wonderfully written with a great HEA! One of my favorite book by Ms Wylder to date.

Love Rina & Cannon story. This sexy friends to lovers story will have you reading non stop. Rina & Cannon have been friends and roommates for years and never wanted to cross the line until Rina asked him to help her have a baby with no strings attached. Never did Rina & Cannon think they would feel anything more but both can’t deny what they feel anymore. Will it ruin their friendship or will it change their lives forever? Absolutely love this book, it was hot, sexy and held my attention from the beginning. The ending was absolute perfection. Another amazing read by Penny.

I read an ARC and I voluntarily leave my honest opinion.
Penny Wylder, I'm happy to say, does NOT disappoint. She has an excellent writing style that captures you from the opening chapter. Her characters are 3D, highly developed, with strong leading characters. Rinna and Connor are roommates. Both of them have commitment issues. They get along really well as roommates and each lead their lives. Rinna's biological clock is ticking. She wants the baby but not the man so she works with a fertility clinic. When it's time for her to be impregnated, another couple runs into a bad situation with their baby donor and it scares Rinna enough that she cancels her appointment.
This is where the fun really takes off. Rinna and Connor have blazing hot sex to make that baby. They have a NSA agreement in place. But as time goes on and they not only have the baby making sex they start falling in love and both of them are in denial. It's hilarious. I highly recommend you read Rinna and Connor's story to see if they can ever get over their fear of commitment and get that forever type of relationship. Great story!

A friend to lovers story that is super hot to read! Cannon and Rina have known each others since College. They both work on the same law firm and share an apartment. Their relationship has been platonic from the start. Everything changed when Rina started longing for a baby of her own without the added burden of a father in the picture. Her plan for an artificial insemination did not fall through. Devastated and distraught, she told Cannon her aborted plan to have a baby. A crazy agreement ensued between friends. None of them thought that the sex would be explosive and would inspire emotions far from friendship. I love the character's chemistry and witty chitchat. There is passion, friendship, hot sex, and love and of course HEA!

The Roommate's Baby by Penny Wylder is super fun, super-hot and a crazy fun read. This book is a friends to lovers story that has heart, heat, and steam. Rina and Cannon are a great couple. They are best friends, great co-workers and out of that decide to be co parents together. Rina and Cannon are friends who met in college and now work for the same law firm. They also share an apartment. For many years, they have had total love for one another that was of the simple kind, platonic kind. Things change slowly the day Cannon comes home and finds Rina inconsolable. She wanted to have a baby using IVF but backed out at last minute. She is ready to have a baby but isn’t sure what to do next. Cannon offers to help her. They both know that the other is not into relationships and feel they both can keep their feelings out of it and keep things platonic while they try to get Rina pregnant. Thing is, sometimes you can have everything you want right under your nose and not realize it until it hits you right in the face. This is that sort of story and it is filled with such passion, heat, friendship, witty banter , sexual tension, and true love. I loved how this story really kept the flow of the story going from start to finish and how the characters came off as relatable and likeable. I look forward to reading more such stories from Ms. Wylder.

This is an oldie but a goodie that is perfect for a late night after your son wakes you !! This was just as funny as the first time and the push and pull of falling in love with a bestfriend is always so sweet.
This book did not make me swoon like it used to but it definitely still pulls a smile from me after all these years. Penny Wylder used to be my go to author for taboo and non traditional romance novels.
This book brings back a host of memories that sparkled but didn’t burst across the page like they used to. At one point this was a solid 5 star read to me but since my taste in romance has peaked to a much darker side this is only giving me 3.5 but the writing is still done very well.
Have you noticed your once favorite books aren’t the same anymore ? That the things that used to make you scream out loud just don’t hit the same. Ugh, sometimes out growing your fiction sucks but such is life.

So you think you want a baby but don't want the man that goes along with them ?? Well Rina is that kind of lady but before she can get pregnant with a popcicle she does the unthinkable and backs out. Now what ?? Or should we say Who ?? Meet Cannon, Rina's roommate for the past four years. After taking a closer look, maybe he will give a donation (of the wet kind) and help a good friend out. What these two plan sounds good to them both but they NEVER expected what follows. I don't want to give anything away by saying more but I will say this. This "Baby" is HOT, HOT, HOT so be forwarned your panties may internally combust. Just saying :<) Read it !!!

All Rina wanted was a baby. Single with only dead end romantic prospects, she decides to forgo a man and do it on her own. Her mom had done it on her own, why couldn't she? So Rina took all the steps for IVF, but couldn't pull the trigger. Distraught she runs into the arms of her longtime friend, coworker and roommate Cannon. She let's everything out, but what shocks Rina the most is that he wants to help her fulfill her dream. No Strings Attached!
Now comes all the fun. The parts you've been waiting for.......The SEX!!! And boy does Wylder deliver on the hot sex. It isn't just mechanical baby making sex. It's full blown scorching hot sex in and definitely out of the bedroom.

I usually enjoy this authors work but this one was a big miss with me. With the safety stuff below and plus it just seemed very repetitive. Not enough going on besides sex and trying to make a baby. Ends at 63 % it includes a bonus story of Buying the Bride

Absolutely gorgeous. From the crazy first chapter to the endearing epilogue! Maybe too much bed action? ;o)
The best laid plans are often derailed by unexpected feelings. That's what happens to best friends Rina and Cannon when they agree on a baby pact with no strings attached. How I love this kind of doomed deals that start off with lots of steamy, sexy hot-as-hell passion that's supposedly allergic to romance. Then, much to my glee, both characters start to hide their true feelings in order to avoid upsetting the rules.
It's harder than it seems...
To my surprise, Cannon doesn't raise any opposition to his roommate's proposal to unprotected, baby-making sex. Then, their easy friendship was a plus in their relationship as it goes down the rabbit hole of constant hookups to ensure their end of the bargain. And they go at it everywhere :-D
I enjoyed those savagely passionate encounters as well as their sweet thoughts about feeling too attached for their own good. There's another couple working their own situation on the side that throws a funny spindle on the whole plot. It's naughty and hot, yet also romantic and entertaining.
I loved this couple, how they finally admitted their love for each other in this emotional way, and their plans together in life. Lovely read.

Good, sexy, and quick!
A good read, but nothing particularly unique about this one. I liked this story from Penny Wylder and while most of the story itself was new.. the plot and formula are pretty generic. Still a good quick read. Plus BABY MAKING. Sorry, but I enjoy that in a quickie read at times.

Cannon and Rina make for a great couple with a plot that was beleivable but also different to the usual plot line. Loved the chemistry between them, they were well developed characters and the secondary characters were great as loved Chris and Lacy as the best friends. This book attempts to answer the question of what happens when best friends try to maintain friendship with the complications of creating a baby together.

I don’t think the age range appeared accurate to me. They acted way more immature than the alleged ages.
I thought it was short and a simple romance. But its not intriguing and it doesn’t really do anything to the story.
This book is about Rina and Cannon who are lawyers and have been friends for a long time. So this is a friends to lovers story. Rina wants a baby and doesn’t want a man. She indicated she has no time for dating …but all the time for having a kid? Rina went to do a donor sperm appointment and freaked out then came home and immediately asked Cannon to have a baby. They both went to bed day 1 … ready to start having a baby… after never even touching in 7 years of living together…

Cannon and Rina are best friends and roommates. When Rina decides she wants to have a baby and still maintain her No Strings Attached lifestyle, Cannon offers to help her out.
Great friends to lovers knock me up romance. Super spicy and sweet. I liked how the relationship organically evolved through the book. Cannon was the perfect blend of alpha with a squishy center. Rina was assertive and unapologetic about her sexuality. A great read.

Loved this story and its characters especially Cannon and Rani, roommates for seven years. This is a fun, lighthearted read that had me smiling all the way through from cover to cover. Nothing dark and ominous here. Just lots of sex and romance.

This was a nice and quick naughty book that I enjoyed a lot.
The sex scenes were really hot, steamy, dirty and I couldn't get enough of them.
Their chemistry was goooood!
For a short smut, it was a great but I think it was dragging a little when they wouldn't admit their true feelings. It took them a while to do so and I would prefer more scenes with them being a couple!

I love this book! Rina and Cannon are best friends and roommates. When she wants a baby things get steamy. This is a great quick read. Very hot sex scenes and swooning love. I received an advanced reader copy for an honest review.

I cannot rave about Penny Wylder’s books more and this one was no different.
These two characters had me hooked from the start, it’s a friends to lovers with lots of heart and lots of heat. Rina and Cannon met at law school and have been friends since then, they are now co-workers and share an apartment. They have shared many things over the years but Cannon is not exactly the commitment type and Rina is very independent after being raised singlehandedly by her mother. Her biological clock is ticking and she has decided to have a baby alone after a failed appointment at the insemination centre she is feeling disheartened and Cannon although shocked at what she was planning is the one that is there for her. Which gives her the idea that they could co parents with no strings attached….. neither one of them is into relationships and think that they can keep their feelings out of the baby making. But you know what they say about the best laid plans. A book of good length and very well written. Nice storyline and plot. Characters are well described and they develop nicely through the story. Their chemistry is amazing and the passion hot. They are likeable.
The story flows nicely of the pages and keeps you on the edge just wanting to read on and know what happens next. The mix of emotions, sadness, laughter, tearing up, happyness, romance and more makes it worth the read. This story is not only about the hot scenes but it has heart in it. Absolutely and amazing mix.
I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. Enjoyable read. A fantastic romance and love story with heart and hotness.

Rina has it all - great job, great friends, a beautiful place to live. The only thing she is missing is a baby. Not being in a relationship is not going to stop her from her goal, but when things do not go as planned when she goes to be inseminated she thinks her dream is over. That is until she goes home and cries on the shoulder of her best friend/roommate Cannon. Together they devise a plan to have "No Strings Attached" sex to get her the baby she wants. But what happens when feelings start to get in the way? Can they keep everything without strings? Or will they get more than just a baby? With an enjoyable storyline and great characters, Penny Wylder once again does not disappoint. I truly would like to read about these characters a few years down the line.

Another awesome hot new story by Penny Wylder! Definitely five stars! ✨ Rina wants a baby but plan A didn’t pan out the way she hoped. Cannon is her best friend roommate and a player but hopefully her new baby daddy. But this is a No Strings Attached agreement once Rina is pregnant they will go there separate way or will they. Penny Wylder has done it again! I loved The Roomates Baby so much I couldn’t put it down! I loved Rina and Cannon and I loved their story. I always say the sign of a good book is when you can sit there and shake your head saying “these idiots really think this no string attached thing will work” or “these idiots need to communicate” as always I cannot pick my favorite because once I do another one comes along and pushes it off it’s pedestal another hit Penny can’t wait to read more

I really enjoyed this steamy friends to lovers romance. A engaging plot, likable characters and a very beautiful, emotional story make this a very pleasurable read. Rina wants a baby and her bestfriend and roommate agrees to help her out with no strings attached. This sets off an explosion of steamy chemistry, sizzling intimacy, the slow realization of much deeper feelings for each other and their struggle to keep those feeling hidden. A very good read. I'm posting a completely honest, voluntary review after reading this book.

"The Roommates Baby," is a best-friends-to-lovers and a no-strings-attached-arrangement-to-just-have-a-baby, romance, by Penny Wylder. This romance is particularly charming and witty. Rina and Cannon are good friends who really like and understand each other. When Rina decides she wants a baby, Cannon offers to help her out, really believing that they can do this, without changing their relationship. * Insert big EYEROLL here* Lots of laughs and heartaches ensue. A really enjoyable and romantic, romance. I received this book as an ARC and I volunteered this review.

Another hot and steamy book by Penny. This books is a great friends to lovers romance. Cannon and Rina have been friends for seven years. They live together and even work together. She wants a baby and didn’t care who the father was. He being her best friend and always down for No Strings Attacked sex figured he’d help her out. Little did they know that they would fall in love with each other.
