Clan witch Tally knows she’s fortunate to have married Marcel. Before the alpha of the Ouellette clan allowed it, witch and werebear relationships were strictly forbidden. And now she realizes there may have been a very good reason for the rule. Their toddler twins are shifting in a clan where that doesn’t happen until after puberty. And it’s taking place in a world full of humans who don’t know werebear exist.
While Tally could try to use magic to control her children until they’re old enough to understand the implication of spontaneous shifting, it’s not foolproof. And it’s not a chance she’s willing to take, because the humans who do know werebear exist want them wiped off the planet. Now that Tally and Marcel’s twins are a danger to the clan, Tally must find a way to keep everyone safe. But she fears that because her children are half werebear being a witch might not be enough.
V. Vaughn is also known as Violet Vaughn and is a USA Today Bestselling author. Violet lives on an island in Maine and spends almost every day walking through the woods. She may have seen a bear once or twice....
It’s so nice to revisit familiar characters. This is the start of a new series featuring characters previously introduced in a different series. Have not fear, you can start this series without reading the other one. The story is intriguing and has me wanting to know what’s going to happen next. I’m looking forward to reading what happens.
I received a copy of this book from the author, my review has been voluntarily submitted.
My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!! ***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I received a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I did buy my own copy!!
This is the first book in the Bewitched by the Bear series. This is a novella length, and it is part of a serial season of her bears. I have only read the Called by the Bear set so far, and I had no trouble picking this book up and reading and understanding what was going on. Please be aware that will serials the endings can be like a cliffhanger, and it is not a complete book like a TV show it is only an episode of the story.
I really enjoyed this story, and I think I have already fallen for this family. The twins are adorable. I’m hoping none of Tally’s fear come true because I want her to get her happily ever after not just a happy for now. There is some excitement, danger, and lots of fear and drama. You will want to see what is happening with the family. The alpha and his mate seem pretty cool though I don’t know much about either yet.
I recommend to all bear shifter fans who have enjoyed some or all of Violet’s other bear seasons because then you will enjoy this story too!
WILDEST BEAR - is a true unconditional romance; I enjoyed and loved this story from the first page and was delighted at the captivating ending. Inside; soul-stirring moments, fun times, a bit of magic, a little drama, fearsome moments, and passionate fiery romance.
Tally a witch and Marcel a bear shifter is a taboo mix, but the Alpha of Marcel's clan approved their marriage when he saw how much they belonged together. Now they have twins Ava and Adam who are turning three soon; unfortunately, they are shifting at an early age which is unheard of in the bear shifter world. Tally fears that if the twins shift in public and are seen by humans that something evil will happen to them. She begins to doubt herself as a mom since she is not a werebear. This story has a few twists and getting to their happy ending is quite a thrilling romantic story.
Wonderful true love story; The fabulous characters come alive with fantastic vivid scene descriptions and humor too. Tally is a strong woman and Marcel is certainly an alpha but their devotion for each other shines in this story; and the two communicate well. You can't help but feel love in your heart for the twins and their antics will charm you. This story warmed my heart as it really is about true unconditional love and the ending is quite phenomenal. I found this story to be a most entertaining read so {of my own volition without any stipulations, I reviewed an advanced ready copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this read.
Another great one from Ms. Vaughn and I loved this first book of the Wildest Bear series. Witches and werebear marriages were strictly forbidden until the alpha Jean-Luc of the Ouellette Clan allowed Tally and his warrior Marcel to be the first. Now Tally can almost, almost see the sensibility of that rule with her twins turning into cubs at age 2!
Tally is freakin' out, her baby boy just started sprouting fur in the store unexpectedly, but daddy is over the moon with the news! Will their magical powers emerge too now? You know like father like son and like mother like daughter and all that.
Change is coming and it's all Adam and Ava's doing
Wildest Bear: A Shifters in Love Fun & Flirty Romance Bewitched by the Bear Book 1 by V. Vaughn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am always excited to read books written by V.Vaughn and of course they never fail to put a smile on my face. Her books exceeded everything I expect it to be and more. This is a Spectacular Read!! I really hated for this story to end. But if you enjoy reading shifter romance than this series will be one of your favorite as it is mine. I have read all of the most of Ms. Vaughn's books and I absolutely enjoy reading them. I read this book in one sitting I couldn’t put my reader down until I finish this book I am already in love each of the characters in this book. The characters are well developed and well written. This is a awesome start to this series and I enjoy that the women have lots of confidence and are strong women. The dialogue is creative, you will like the interaction between the main characters, they leap off the page with life. The scenes are picturesque, vivid, beautiful and dynamic. The Wildest Bear allows us the readers to revisit Tally and Marcel along with their little adorable twins. What a pleasant surprised to read about the children of Tally and Marcel plus the fact that they take such center stage. I so enjoyed reading about how their magic started, plus they brings so much more to this entertaining, captivating and interesting story. I'm so excited to read the next book in this awesome series.Great book! I highly recommend this book for you do not want to miss this awesomeness!

This is an amazing bear shifter romance and it also had a unique storyline as Tally is a witch and Marcel was a bear shifter. The characters were cleverly put together and made the book very enjoyable. The book was very well put together which led to it being very difficult to put down and being read in one day. V. Vaughn has written another brilliant book and if you love bear shifters this is the book for you.
Tally has been a favorite since I first discovered her in the series. She is so much fun and really lusted over Marcel. As a witch, she was not supposed to be with a bear shifter. He felt just as strongly and they were finally able to be a couple and then blessed with two children.
I liked that the story was different in tone to other books. The story has a serious tone to it. It shows that love doesn't solve all your problems. You still have to work together and believe in your partner if you want a successful relationship.
Tally and Marcel are years into their relationship and it was interesting to see the changes that marriage and children brought to their relationship. Their kids are adorable. It was also nice to see so many other clan members be part of the story.
While it is a special treat to those already familiar with the other books, I think it is a good read for those new to the author as well. I would recommend reading the other books first for the most enjoyment, if you can.
This wonderful story reminds me how I enjoyed the previous Bear series by the author. Here we revisit a favorite couple, werebear and the human witch who married despite the reluctance of the werebear community. Now they have an adorable set of twins almost three. Maybe I should say precocious. Since weres usually don't start shifting till their teens how surprised was Tally when her son's temper tantrum turns him into a shifted cub--right in the grocery store. Since humans don't and can't know about werebears in their midst. this is a problem.
How are they to deal? Will this bring back the clan's objections to their union? What will this do to their own relationship and her insecurities?
The story is filled with old friends, yet is a story that stands alone, characters you admire and want only the best. I'll look for more stories with these characters and their friends. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.
Tally Is the Ovellette clan's witch and she has been in love with and got to marry her werebear Marcel a warrior of the Ovellette clan they have twin toddler's who can shift at 3. Normally that doesn't happen until puberty but Adam and Ava are anything but normal their half were and half magic. Tally is having a had time coming to turms with it what if it brings the hunters back? I love these characters and so happy the author wrote more about them. Their twins are so cute. It has spice, drama and more. If you have been following the other Ovellette clan stories don't miss this one! Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
Clan witch Tally is shepherding her twins and doubting the wisdom of having married Werebear Marcel, as she does not know how to handle two-year-old shifters, and wonders if his “fated mate” may still appear leaving her hurt and alone.
Marcel is thrilled with his precocious cubs, and has no doubts Tally is the one for him. Can he overcome Tally’s doubts, and keep the humans from becoming aware of the bears in their midst?
A sweet story of family and shifters. Less points for some tell instead of show.
*** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book ***
Such a wonderful writer and what a heartwarming story! It’s not easy to be a trail blazer, but that’s exactly what Tally finds is happening as she and Marcel discover that their beautiful twins are shifting way before other clan cubs have, Is it a sign that their union should never have been or that it is oh, so right? Tally wrestles with so much doubt and is perched on the edge of a major decision. Which way will she go? Read Wildest Bear: A Shifters in Love Fun & Flirty Romance Bewitched by the Bear Book 1 and find out. V. Vaughn has a great, easygoing writing style with just enough heat to add a little zip to her story. A very engaging novel about characters you’ll come to love.
Sweet and cute! Tally and Marcel are married but not truely mated. Why? Tally has fears about mating. However, they have two adorable children who are starting to shift way too early. Which brings up even more fears for Tally. This book is more about her overcoming her fears and how she and Marcel can grow in their relationship. It is a quick read and I was able to read without putting it down, and I still wanted more. I would recommend reading Desired by the Bear prior to reading Wildest Bear because we see the way these two came together.
This is a sweet short story. Tally is a witch that is married to Marcel, a bear shifter. They've been married for awhile and have children, but Tally worries that Marcel will find his destined bear mate, so she's feeling a bit down about that. Also, her children are starting to show signs of shifting, and she's not sure if she's up to the task of helping her children. The romance is sweet, and the story is entertaining. Tally gets into her own way sometimes, but I liked her. Fun, quick read. Enjoyable!
Come on the journey of Tally and Marcel and their exciting life in a were bear clan. Marcel is a werebear who will do anything to protect his clan, and Tally is a strong witch, together they raise their hybrid werebear/witch children and try to protect their clan. But their children are special and surprising in many ways, can they handle them? As doubts start to creep in Tally has to make difficult choices, will they be the right ones?
A new series called Bewitched by the Bear and I want the next book soon. I enjoyed reading this from the first page.Witch Tally and her werebear husband Marcel have a slight problem on their hands their two-year-old twins Adam and Ava are able to shift and they should not be able to. I had to know what was going to happen so I was not putting this book down until I had finished reading the book.I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This is the first book in the new series Bewitched by the Bear and we get to watch the lives of Tally and Marcel whom we met in one of the other series by this author. I love what the author has done with their children and all the twist and turns that show up because of them. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Absolutely love this tale about Marcel and Tally! Love the personalities of these characters and the love between them just oozes from the pages! Although the tale is quick, it is jammed packed with emotional ups and downs. The trials between a young couple are captured beautifully, along with parenting insecurities and woes. Looking forward to this new series
A continuation of Tally and Marcel’s story. Just when you would think Tally would stop worrying, her two adorable little two year olds decide to make things really interesting. Tally’s love for Marcel never changes bu she starts to doubt herself as wife and a mother. Another sweet shifter romance.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.
Worth the wait. Tally and Marcel story was even better then expected. It took some unfortunate events but Tally finally realized this romance was meant to be and that they are soul mates. Ava and Adam are a blessing and the have full support of family, friends and their clan. What more could you ask for. Can't wait for more in the upcoming books.
Wiser words were never spoken and Tally just has to believe them. This story centers around Tally & Marcel's 2 year old children who begin to spontaneously shift. This is both wonderful and frightening because it's way earlier than expected. This story is about how they & the clan handle it.
Enchanting new bear shifter series following the Ouellette clan. Witches are prominent in this series, especially Tally and her shifter husband, Marcel. Crisis arise with their young children, Ava and Adam. But, are the children the Real problem? Enjoyable, comfortable read! Voluntarily read ARC for honest review.
Shifters aren't supposed to love witches but Marcel and Tally know they are meant to belong together. Tally fears that Marcel will find his true mate and leave her. Then their twins begin to shift at a very young age and Tally doesn't feel she is a good enough mother since she isn't a shifter. Can they find happiness?
Love the start of a new series. And it just jumps right in yhe thick of things. Tally is happy that their clan leader allowed Marcel and her to marry. But now they may have a slight problem that they have to keep hidden from their leader. But how can you hide two childrens new abilities from a mixed town of shifters and humans.
This was a fun story to read as you wind down and catch up with Tally and Marcel. They are worried how the clan will react to dealing with two cubs who seem to shift at will. Tally is working on old fears while Marcel is gearing up for a new leadership position.
I think that it is so unfair that we only get 5 stars when books like these deserve so much more. This books was so good that I finished it in one sitting. The characters seem so real that you can actually see them in your mind. I love everything about Ms. Vaughn's books. The way that she has the characters interact is awesome.
This was a short & sweet story! If you're a mom, you'll definitely understand the feelings & need to keep your children safe. I'm this case, it's especially important when the kids are werebear. I encourage you to get this book and enjoy the thought of cute little bear cubs having fun!
This was a different kind of Romance instead of finding a mate this about a couple in love finding they are true mates. It was very heart warning and sweet with a wonderful HEA
I love watching/reading their love story as it continues. And watching the love grow and their relationship grow. A beautiful story, I love this one so much more than when they acknowledged their love.
The characters and concepts were both interesting but to me it seemed more like a reading from her journal then a storyline. It was hard to hold my attention for that reason.
A witch almost lets her insecurities ruined her life. She has fallen in love with the bear that becomes her husband. When she has children she is so worried that she will fail them.
