Wowza, this was GREAT!!!!! I loved Ian and Chelsea....like to the moon and back. Ian and Chelsea both captured my heart and attention immediately and I was invested in THEM individually and as a couple throughout and not once did that falter.
The backstory of each of these individuals was truly emotional and heartbreaking and to see them come together and work out those issues was fantastic.
Although this story was a quick read it was filled with every emotion and everything I love about my H and h:) The sex by the way was off the charts HOT!!!!!!!!
In a nutshell, I loved everything about this story and the characters!!!!! PS Wouldn't mind seeing Serge find his HEA in the future too, wink, wink, lol!!!!!
I loved Ian. He’s the bad boy made good and he really couldn’t do any wrong in my eyes. I struggled hard with Chelsea’s character, though. Her “once an addict, always an addict” statement near the beginning rubbed me the wrong way and she had an uphill battle with me for the rest of the book. I know that’s my baggage, because I have watched people very dear to me win the daily fight against their addictions. It was amazing to watch her work through her very valid fears to be able to believe in Ian and believe in them as a couple. I completely adored the ending. By that time, I was a fully invested Chelsea fan. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book via Booksprout.
It’s sweet, sexy and soulful! Love, love this newest release of a rockstar and a country girl! The storyline was easy to follow and the characters were likeable. Chelsea and Ian intense chemistry made for some hot loving that only burned hotter as they figure out their connection. Their music spoke to them but will their love be able to keep them together? One click this must read that didn’t disappoint and I highly recommend.
Ian is a recovering addict and Chelsea is a “good girl”… both musicians. They’re put together to raise money for a charity. The chemistry is so good on stage, their label decides to put them together for an album to help boost their sales… Ian feels he has a lot to prove whereas Chelsea went through a past experience where she lost someone due to addictions and his apprehensive. Chemistry is there but is the trust there? It was a good quick read.
Found this on AMAZON for free, love a great freebie, fun, quick read for me. I have read Jess Bentley before, still has a great hot, steamy, mc-steamy style but new to Zoey's writing. I look forward to reading more from the both of them. I am curious how the dude on the cover … did that with his abs … looks kind of painful, OUCH!! Check it out … might be free still? ( ;
Addicted is a well-written good girl/bad boy romance story with a great storyline, interesting characters, explosive chemistry, some emotional moments, love, and of course, plenty of steam.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
She's a little bit country, he's a little bit rock & 'n roll.
I absolutely loved this book. The story was well developed and kept my attention until the last page. The plot twist at The end was really good.
The characters were real and relatable. The author captured the struggles of Chelsea and Ian and got the reader emotionally invested in their relationship.
I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more stories by this author.

Chelsea is a country singer whose family have survived so much. Her brother, Eric, was a drug addict and died as a result of it and her sister, Mariah, has survived cancer. So Chelsea agrees to do a concert to raise money to support a cancer charity and it is there that she meets Ian, a drug addict who has been clean for over five years and is also a singer but wants to clean up his poor image and help support the charity too, and he is amazed at her voice and her as a whole woman. He was meant to sing with another female singer but she falls ill so Chelsea steps in even though they haven't rehearsed together and they are really liked as a duo. She is instantly attracted to Ian just as he was with her but she doesn't want to break her heart as she knows that he is an addict. But as they work together and see more of each other, can he convince her to give him a chance?? Will they stand a chance? Is this just to clean up his image? HARD TO HANDLE, BUT HARDER WITHOUT THE HELPER!!! I could tell you all about this book. I could say how great it is. I could tell you the author's are fabulous writers. I could tell you the same thing everyone else is saying. No, I don't know what they're saying. I can't read minds. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. But these two have a gift in the way they bring out the truth. They have a talent and chrisma that comes through their writting. This story is a really strong read and I think that no one else could have pulled this together with such vivid detail that brought forth the magic. The characters and scenes so realistic you could feel the electricity in the air. The two main characters and their personalities were so compatible and blended it brought a whole new level to the storyline. If was a fresh take on a hard to handle problem. These 2 authors did it smooth as silk and so effortlessly that it just flowed through. They totally nailed this one. Remarkable job ladies. Thanks for sharing this read with us.
Chelsea and Ian are my new addiction and I love the chemistry they share. Being a rockstar and overcoming an addiction by being sober for five years has Ian looking at life with a new outlook. Chelsea is a country singer that’s been on a two year hiatus and has a family tragedy of her own. Meeting unexpectedly at a charity concert and performing seamlessly without any previous rehearsals has these two on a fast track to love. If only their lives could mesh as easily as their voices do. With so much to overcome and prove, Ian has a rough road ahead of him by constantly denouncing a relapse and convincing Chelsea that her faith and trust in him is well earned. Ian only has eyes for Chelsea which enamored me even more with his honesty and willingness to do whatever it took to not dissapoint her. Will Chelsea’s fear of falling for an addicts word stall a potential relationship before it truly takes off or is music the only thing these two can make?

I always enjoy a great rockstar romance and Addicted had me hooked from the first page. The characters reel you in with their stories and the storyline keeps you hanging on until the end. Five years sober Ian knows everyone still expects the worse from him. While trying to change his public appearance he agrees to sing at a charity concert when a last minute change brings an unexpected surprise. Chelsea has her own reasons for singing at the concert but the last thing she wants to do is deal with the bad boy rocker she's paired up with. Sparks start flying the moment the two meet and together they create magic on the stage. Try as they might neither can deny the connection between them but not everyone is happy to see this pairing. Will the two be able to face the obstacles thrown their way? Are they bound for greatness or meant to be a one hit wonder? A must read if you enjoy a feel good, sweet and sexy read.
Ian is a rock star who was addicted to drugs. He's been clean about 5 years or so. While at a charity event he sees Chelsea who is a country singer and there to perform. They even do some songs together and this has Ian wanting more. Chelsea holds back due to losing her brother to drug addiction. Their duo was met with great success so they agree to do an album together. That is a big hit as well. With them spending so much time together, Chelsea gets to see a good side of Ian. Their chemistry together is hot so they finally give in and they start their relationship. Chelsea finds something that throws a kink in her trust. Can they work through this or will this be the end? This book deals with a difficult subject of addiction so may be a trigger for some folks. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Liked it so much I bought this. This story is about Chelsea a goodie two shoes perfect princess country music star and Ian who is a bad boy rock star who used to be on heavy drugs but has now been clean and sober for 5 years. The two are thrown together at a charity event and both sing their hearts out. There’s an instant attraction between them both but Chelsea knows about Ian’s past with the drug use but she doesn’t believe that he is clean and that scares her because her brother died of an overdose and it broke her heart and she couldn’t bare anything to go through that again. Ian wants to get to know Chelsea and he has to prove to her that he’s not a user anymore but his reputation follows him around and the press doesn’t help either. This was a absolutely fantastic read and I highly recommend it, the chemistry between Chelsea and Ian was off the charts hot and I loved every page of this book. This book has the wow factor and it definitely deserves more than 5 ⭐️ and it’s well worth the read.
Addicted: A Good Girl Bad Boy Rockstar Romance By Zoey Oliver. 5 Stars *****
Wow, I'm kinda speechless, in a good way though. Ian and Chelsea are Amazing in this story!!!
Besides this being one kick ass story about a rock star and country singer and what beautiful music they make together, the core of this book reaches into your heart, mind and soul. With some people past or present addictions will always be a tough topic. The author did a fabulous job weaving in the injustice and unfairness that recovering addicts must face on a daily basis and just how it can either make or break them.
This book will choked you up, make you laugh and feel nostalgic. So Good!
And the bonus sneak peek intro story about Serge...Fantastic
Mature readers, some strong language and sexual content.

Heather's Notes This story was ok. I didn't love it and didn't hate it. I liked the fact Chelsea was also famous, although a country singer. It is a change for the "regular" girl most rocker books have. It was short and I found the "conflict" at the end a little contrived, but still a good story.
Jess and Zoey did a great job with Ian and Chelsea's story. Ian is a rock star and an addict. He has been clean and sober for five years. He got clean after he almost got his best friend killed. Chelsea is a country singer and has some demons in her past. She blames herself for her brother dying and doesn't want to be around anyone who has done drugs. They are both at a concert for sick kids and they end up singing together. They sound so good together that their label wants them to put a duet album together. The attraction they have for each other is instantaneous, but Chelsea holds back due to Ian's past. They have such an undeniable connection and hot chemistry. Will they be able to get past their own demons and make it work or will their past and others get in their way? This deals with past addictions, some drama, and instalust to love.
Ian had been clean for 5 years and was trying to repair his "bad" boy image. what better way to do that then do a charity concert. but when the singer that he was supposed to do a couple of duets with is involved in an accident can't make it, he has to sing the duets with Chelsea, someone that he's never worked with let alone sung with and she's country. But when they get on stage they make music magic. Both Ian and Chelsea feel the magic of not only the singing together, but also the chemistry between them. Chelsea's a good girl and she's staying away from junkies clean or not and Ian screams everything that that swore to stay away from. Ian can't stop thinking about Chelsea, he wants to get to know her in so many ways. Ian and Chelsea are thrown into making an album together and they are making more than music.

This is a troubled romance between recovering addict and rockstar Ian and good girl, country singer Chelsea. The plot is nothing new or surprising but the author's writing was able to catch my attention from the beginning and I grew attached to these characters and their journey with every page. Ian and Chelsea have an obvious attraction and sizzling chemistry. The witty, funny, snarky, flirtatious banter between the main characters flowed naturally. It is an emotional, sometimes depressing, read with instant attraction, angst, drama, and sweet, sizzling sex. It may not be suitable for anyone who is sensitive to triggers. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ian Monroe is a rockstar who's five years clean. He is looking to rehab his image with his fans and the Wish Givers charity concert is just the right place to begin. Chelsea Garten is a country star who is a last-minute addition to the concert, since Ian's duet partner was in an accident and unable to perform. Without a moment of practice, they are magnificent together and it appears that a star pairing is born. The only thing that I'm not happy with is Chelsea's attitude of "once an addict, always an addict." She knows better, especially since she's gone through this before with her brother. Addiction recovery is a day by day endeavour and I'm not pleased that she dismissed it so easily. But it is a wonderful story and I highly recommend it.
