Another One, Book 2 of Aleatha Romig's Lighter Side books, soars to the top of my Rom-Com Favorites List! After reading A Secret One, the prequel to Another One, I was completely giddy over Trevor Willis and Shana Price and the beginning of their "secret" relationship. They just seemed like such a perfectly matched couple. I couldn't wait to see where their relationship was headed. I jumped into Another One expecting to go ga-ga over Trevor and rooting for Shana to get herself a good man. May I say, EXPECTATIONS MET! GA-GA-GAHHHHHHHH!!! Trevor is sweet, sexy and oh-so-swoon-worthy. He's the perfect man, wanting to be the considerate, loving and thoughtful boyfriend, while also being just a tad nerdy and insecure at times. He was so endearing, I wanted to steal him from Shana! Speaking of Shana, she's beautiful, sassy, sexy, smart, strong, funny and a bit inscecure at times too. The perfect girlfriend to bring the "quiet" Trevor to life. Loved the chemistry between these two. This book was an enjoyable, funny, sweet, feel-good read. 'Leatha, the lighter side of Aleatha Romig, excels in the Rom-Com genre. I hope she continues to delight us with these wonderful books.

I really enjoyed this one! Aleatha Romig has proven that she can not only write deliciously devastating stories that leave a lasting mark on your heart, but also light and sexy books that will leave a smile on your face. After reading the novella, A Secret One, I couldn’t wait to get more from Trevor and Shana, in Another One. I wasn’t disappointed. This story is easy and fun. Sometimes you just need a book you can relax with and know in the end you will feel light and satisfied. If you're looking for something flirty and cute, this book is for you.

Oh Aleatha how you keep surprising me! This book was what I needed! It was hilarious, with a lot of love, and some excellent dialogue between all the characters. She writes this book in a dual POV. I highly recommend reading the others in the series to understand Shana and Trevor.
Shana works for Saks Fifth Avenue as a fashion designer. She absolutely loves what she does. The job she has her recently loving in London. Her life lately has been “lonely” being so far from everything.
Trevor is an engineer and has moved to New York City. He is somewhat shy when it comes to women, despite him being incredibly sexy. When he’s not working hard, he makes time to spend it with his good buddies.
Shana and Trevor first met during Kimbra and Duncan’s wedding weekend. The chemistry then was off the charts. Now over a year later, it’s like time was never wasted. Trevor wants to try to get Shana to be more than just a night or a weekend. Shana can say for certain that she hasn’t forgotten him since their first encounter.
Does Shana get the job she wants back in New York City? Can Trevor show her that she is worth everything? What will happen if they are separated by miles again?
I can say for certain that this book was AMAZING! The playful banter between Shana and Trevor was so sweet and funny. I would so laugh so hard at times, I was literally crying! I loved it! Thank you Aleatha for writing so magnificently!

When I’m around you, I say things I’d never say. I want things, things I’m willing to do anything to get. I also want to be everything you deserve.
I’m in LOVE with the “lighter” side of Aleatha Romig. Granted I’ve never read any of her dark romances, and I do happen to enjoy those every now and then, but RomComs are my first love!! I wasn’t expecting this story to win me over so completely the way that it did. I might even love this one more than the first book and I was pretty crazy about “Plus One”! This was a sweet, sexy, second chance romance that stole my heart completely.
I loved the Hero, Trevor Willis. He’s not like most of the leading men in romance novels. Trevor is a handsome specimen of a man but he’s shy, quiet…reserved. He doesn't have the smooth moves when it comes to women, but one night, he meets a beautiful woman at a hotel piano bar and something about her calls to him. There’s an instant and undeniably strong spark between them. Gone is the shy and awkward man and in his place is a sexy, charismatic and sweet alpha male who only Shana Price can awaken in Trevor. Shana and Trevor’s night together before Kimbra and Duncan’s wedding (the couple from “PLUS ONE”) is told in the free novella ”SECRET ONE”. It’s definitely worth picking up and is a very quick read. Timing is everything and it just wasn’t right for the couple when they first met. Their careers kept them a continent apart and attempts to keep in touch became futile.
One year later, it’s as if fate steps in and is determined for the couple to reunite. Shana is in NYC for two weeks to help out the lingerie division of “Saks Fifth Avenue” for their show during fashion week. If all goes well, she might get a promotion and the chance to move from London to New York. Trevor moved back to New York recently for his job and during a night out with his friends he can’t believe it when he sees Shana! When they run into each other again at a bar later that same night, Trevor knows he can’t let the beautiful woman who has never left his thoughts over the past year get away again. Shana is just as happy to see Trevor but worries about letting him into her heart. She’s afraid she’ll lose a bit of herself if she falls for Trevor, and if she were honest with herself she'd have realized she fell for him a year ago.
Shana’s apprehension is no match for Trevor’s determination. He knows that she’s the one that got away and this time he’s not letting her slip through his fingers. But what will the couple do if Shana doesn’t get her dream job in NYC and she must go back to London? Will love win over careers this time around?
ANOTHER ONE was incredibly sweet and deliciously steamy. I just could not get enough of Trevor and Shana’s story!

Such a fun and flirty second chance romance. It’s super sweet!
A sweet guy and hardworking woman -one of my favorite combinations. I enjoyed both main characters a lot. The secondary characters and subplot was also a nice addition.
I’ve never read Aleatha’s darker books, but I must say I’m really enjoying the lighter side.

4 Sweet Stars
Sweet, fluffy, romantic bliss..... Another One hits the spot. When you need a book to remind you of how romance should be done, look no further. A Secret One is a quick novella that sets up the story for Another One. (But Another One can be read as a stand-alone)
What I enjoy from Aleatha’s lighter side is just the romantic essence. It’s a feel good, make you grin, get lost in romance kind of book. Shana Price and Trevor Willis meet and have a connection. But she lives in London and he lives in the States. Her best friend is marrying his brother. It’s a little complicated......but after a year they see each other in New York and once again.....it’s complicated. Shana and Trevor have two weeks this time instead of 36 hours. When that connection is still there, it’s time to try and see if they really have something or is it lust?
Shana and Trevor’s story is also filled with great secondary characters. They help to sprinkle the story with humor, sharing, loyalty, family and love. While reading, you can’t help but fill the possibility, the hope and the love that all the characters feel for one another. And the courtship between Shana and Trevor is nice and old school. It’s dates and respectfulness, it’s slow and sweet and it’s romantic.
If you want to have a light and fluffy read that makes you smile......Another One will hit the spot!!

This was so good.
I have really enjoyed the books that I 've read from this authors. But this book was a lot different. It's a much lighter read them her other book, but the story was just had good as her other books. I read A Secret One and really enjoy that lil teaser of a book so I was really looking forward to more of Trevor and Shana.
Shana is back in New York working on a new project and hoping she doesn't have to go back to London. There is a lot riding on this job so she works her backside off to get where she is. This story was funny sweet and sexy. Shana and Trevor are such a great couple even after spending so much time apart they could deny the spark that was between them. They were just meant to be. I really enjoyed this story I liked the side story of Stephen and Max I m really hoping to get more of them. Stephen is a great character. I liked how Shana and Stephen were together they had each others backs. They are so loyal to each other. I couldnt get enough of this book the story flowed so well I was dying to know how things were goin to work out with them and I have to go back and read Kimbra and Duncan's story. She seems a right handful but a great way. I a big fan of this author i can't recommend her books enough.

I have really enjoyed the books that I 've read from this authors. But this book was a lot different. It's a much lighter read them her other book, but the story was just had good as her other books. I read A Secret One and really enjoy that lil teaser of a book so I was really looking forward to more of Trevor and Shana.

Shana Price best friend of Kimbra Jones has a secret that she didn't share with her friend that during her wedding she met a guy and in a fog of not knowing where she was she wakes up in his bed. Not remembering how at first she petrified that she has done more than she can't remember because of her long trip from London that ended her up in the hotel bar.
Trevor Willis found the woman of his dreams one that he can fill himself around and she is the most beautiful woman he has ever met. Trevor is the opposite of his brother Duncan the ladies man. Trevor is smart, shy and usually not so forward. Well that is until he walked in to the hotel bar where his brother is to be wed at.
So you guess it, Kimbra's best friend and Duncan's brother has accidentally met and decided not to inform the wedding couple of their night together (even though innocent). due to the couple wedding.

They meet the night before the wedding of her best friend and his brother. A fact they discover the next day at the wedding. Although the barrier of the close family ties “what happens if our relationship fails and we still have to see each other” is tough. The biggest problem is that he lives in California and she lives in London. So the phone calls dwindle out and they just remember each other fondly. Until they both end up in New York City.

Here’s the thing, Aleatha Romig has this ability to be to write the most amazing books and make no mistake once you have read one of her books you are hooked for life.
Another One is the sequel to Plus One however you can read Another One as a standalone.
I loved this story from the prologue, it was hilarious, just a great light read, something that you can read anywhere but be prepared to laugh out loud as you will with just the witty banter that goes on between Shana and Trevor and the expressions that crop up now and again.
Written with both characters POV makes this book flow so well and you can really hear them in your head while reading.
Shana who is currently working in London for Saks. Although working for a company and job she adores she does miss being back in America around her best friend and family. Shana jumps at the chance when the opportunity to carry out a fashion show back in New York.
Trevor is a very talented engineer who has recently moved to New York for work. He is you’re your typical man about town, Trevor is shy when it comes to women and will take his time before getting too involved with someone.
Trevor is sweet, sexy, loving, trustworthy, everything any woman would want. Shana is loyal, hot, dedicated and so sweet and funny these two were meant for each other.
It was before Shana’s best friend’s wedding where she first met Trevor and well sparks flew then, however, nothing happened and they agreed to stay friends. On one fated night where Trevor was at the Fashion Show Shana was organising, did they meet up again and realised the sparks were still there. Can they remain there between these two; will Shana get the job in NY or have to go back to London? What will become of her and Trevor? These are the questions you will have answers to once you read the book.
I always find that no matter what book I read of Aleatha’ s that there is always something that will jump out at me and speak to me and make me think. This paragraph just spoke volumes to me and hopefully would mean something to you:-
“I find that the more I think about him, the less I think about me, but it’s not like I become less because when the other person is the right person to be in your life, they’re doing the same thing. Together you’re more than either could be alone. It’s not taking or loosing. It’s complementing”
I will say for sure that this book is one in a million and a read that you should not be without. You will not regret downloading this amazing book. I could not read this book quick enough.

Yup, another Aleatha Romig book to fall in love with. This new lighter side of Aleatha Romig is quite addicting. Who can resist a second chance love story that was sweet, cute, fun, and oh so charming!!! Did I also mention the hero Trevor is like major book boyfriend material. So yeah, if you are looking for a light and very sweet book then I highly recommend you to read this book!

Aleatha Romig has written an incredible romantic comedy story that had me laughing and smiling all the way through the book. It had a completely sweet storyline that had me entertained form start to finish. This was a type of read where I originally sat down to read only a chapter and ended up reading half the story in one go because I couldn’t put it down.
Shana was a hardworking character that really made me laugh and smile with some of her inner thoughts. I really enjoyed the way that she was with her friends and the way that she was there for them. I enjoyed the banter that she had with them. I found she was an enjoyable character.
Trevor is the smart and sexy male character in the story that I really loved reading about because he was super sweet to Shana and he was a really good friend as well. I loved the way that he was considerate of Shana’s feelings and the way that he always listened to what she was saying. He was honestly a perfect boyfriend that I wish was real.
Shana and Trevor spend a night with her best friend brother and law and keeps it a secret after not seeing him for years. However during that time, they remained to stay in contact with each other and when they see each other again, the chemistry between them is still there.
I loved the lightness and humour of this story and it was written incredible well. This was the first story I have read by this author and all I keep thinking after reading this story is why did I wait this long to read something by Aleatha Romig when she is amazingly talented. I cannot wait to read more by this author and I am looking forward to reading the next story in the series.

I absolutely adored this book! Trevor who is usually shy around women is like a whole different guy around Shana. He is so sweet, nice and just plain lovable. Absolutely loved him.
Shana is a woman who is successful at what she does and thinks outside the box for work but can she do that for her personal life?
Had a smile on my face throughout the book and like I said I loved Trevor!!! Quick, enjoyable read for sure!

When Aleatha goes light, reading is like a cool breeze. Yes, Trevor and Shana’s story is light hearted and relaxed, to be read with a cup of coffee or a glass of iced tea beside you. Trevor, while still as virile and handsome is completely different from Aleatha’s leading men. But one thing is for sure, the person he loves is able to bring out the best in him and love definitely makes him rise up against all odds. Thank you, Aleatha for another fantastic read.

This is another one from the lighter side of Aleatha Romig and I loved everything about it. Shana is a strong beautiful career woman and Trevor is the shy strong silent type. Well, he was until he meets Shana. She seems to bring out the talker in him and he wants to see where things go between them.
Trevor works for a firm in New York as an architect, he moves around for his job. While Shana works for Saks, she has been in London for the last couple of years. Now back in New York and maybe for a new job position. Which would be good for them both.
After Shana and Trevor spend every minute together they can before she has to go back to London, can they make a long-distance relationship work? Will Shana be able to leave without having her heartbroken? Can Trevor let her go this time? What will Trevor do to make the relationship work?
This is a fun, sexy and all-around great story. It will have you smiling all the while you are reading and it will leave you with the feelings of love that Trevor and Shana have for each other. So sit back and enjoy this one and I hope you love it as much as I did.

After reading Plus One by Aleatha Romig, I was hoping that we would get Shana and Trevor’s story. So I can’t tell you how excited I was when this book was announced!!! And it didn’t disappoint me at all!! It’s sooooo GOOD!!!
I haven’t read many of Aleatha’s other books, but I have read ALL of the lighter side books she has written. And let me just say this, her other books take you on twists and turns that will take you out of your comfort zone, but reading her lighter side will definitely bring you back to the safer side of your comfort zone.
What I love the most about Aleatha venturing into the Romantic Comedy Genre is that it shows how versatile her writing is. She has something for every reader!!!
Another One is a standalone novel told in Dual POV. It’s a chance meeting/friends to lover story….kind of. I would also say this story tends to lean towards an insta love, but not in the sense like we are used to seeing. The story takes place over a 2 week period but the characters met a year prior to this and had sparked a friendship via long distance. So if you aren’t a fan of insta love I don’t think this will bother you at all. I thought it was written perfectly and nothing was too rushed. I loved the storyline in this book and of course I LOVED the characters.
In this book we follow Shana and Trevor. We do meet these characters in Plus One, but I don’t think you need to read that book first, because Aleatha fills in all the missing pieces. Shana is Kimbra’s best friend and Trevor is Duncan’s brother. They meet by happenstance the night before Kimbra and Duncan’s wedding. But are forced to separate because Shana moves to London for her job and Trevor goes back to Washington for his job. A year later they are both back in New York City and are determined to make things work this time. From here we get a fun and sexy journey to their HEA.
I loved seeing Kimbra and Duncan again in this story and how they played an intricate part to Shana and Trevor’s story. I also loved getting to know Max and Stephen. Stephen is Shana’s assistant and other best friend and I thought he was great!!!
I would 100% recommend this book to everyone. If you are looking for that fun, entertaining and sexy read that will leave you with a HUGE smile on your face, pick up this book you won’t be sorry. This one will definitely make my Best of 2018 list!!

I am loving Aleatha's lighter side. For anyone who has read Aleatha in the past, she is one my favorite go-to authors for romantic suspense. However, I will absolutely buy her lighter, funnier reads in a heart beat too.
These books are all standalones that are inter-connected but you never need to read a previous book to know what is going on in the next book.
Shana and Trevor's story had me smiling the entire time. I loved how these two met and then even when they were oceans apart, that spark never tied. Aleatha does a great job of taking this from an insta-attraction first meeting to one with a bigger depth than just physical attraction.
Shana and Trevor are individuals who have secure jobs and love what they do. Even though their jobs could force them to move anywhere, they still want to take this bond to the next step and don't wan to miss out anything, like they did before.
Another One is a slow burn romance with lots of laughter and ALOT of sexy time!! And if you didn't read the novella, A Secret One , before reading this - you will definitely want to afterwards. It's the meeting of Shana and Trevor that they talk about in this book.

Another One was a pretty cute book.
In it, you will meet Shana and Trevor. These two had some cute ass chemistry but I will admit, that I did find myself drifting off every now and then. I wouldn't necessarily say that I was bored out of my mine.. but in a way - I kind of was. Let's just forget about the little tiny fact that I'm watching football while listening.. because it's not that important, is it?
Anyhoo, these two were adorable. Probably the definitely of adorable too if you think about it. Shana was a sweet MC that you could instantly ship with anyone. Then there's Trevor and he's kind of the ideal book boyfriend. Unless you are into the alpha type, then he's the complete opposite. They were cute though and I totally shipped them.
Now when I got this book on my audible romance package, I had no idea it was the second book of this series. I just kid of saw the title and saw how long it was... and went with it. Mostly because I was in the mood for some short audios because I've been listening to some long ass ones and it's nice to switch it up every now and then.
Overall, the romance was cute and it kind of makes me regret that I didn't listen to the first book. I guess I will have to redeem myself this year and get to it.

Another One is a light-hearted, fun and sweet read. It's centred around Trevor and Shana who met at his brother's and her best friend's wedding. There's mutual attraction but things don't really take off between them until they reconnect. I loved the fact that their story was cute which made for easy reading. I finished it in a few hours.
I recommend it to those looking for a fun, light story.

Step into the lighter world of Aleatha, better known as Leatha around here
This cute, fun romance is center around Shana and Trevor who had a one night stand, and not just any one night stand. I'm talking a fireworks exploding, life changing one night stand. Like they say all good things must come to and end. or should they?
I really enjoyed Shana and Trevor's story. it was fun, light and happy. I also enjoyed Shana's best friend Stephen and hoping we might get some more of him in the future.

Before starting this please read the free novella A Secret One that will introduce you to how the 2 lead characters in this book met. You do get a brief intro in Another One but I definitely recommend reading the novella first for more of an insight.
Trevor is a sweetheart, he is genuinely shy and reserved to people in his everyday life but with Shana his hidden persona comes out and he can totally dominate and talk like an alpha in the bedroom department. A character you can't help but fall in love with because he seems to have all the things we would like in our perfect man.
Shana is a strong female lead, she oozes in confidence and intelligence and will always go after what she wants. She doesn't lack in the personality department and is the perfect best friend ever.
I really love the lighter side of Aleatha Romigs books. They make perfect reading for anyone who loves a good contemporary romance without any darkness or too much angst. This one was extremely sweet and was packed with personality and a good dose of sweetness. I highly recommend this series as a must read for those of you who like the lighter side of romance but with plenty of hotness thrown in.

I am soooo in love with Aleatha Romig's lighter side!! Trevor and Shana were super funny and relatable. They had the sexy, sweet, and just the perfect amount of conflict to make this a fun summer read.

Reading an Aleatha Romig book is always like coming home for me. I do not need to see the cover or read the synopsis to one-click her books because her writing never disappoints me. Another One is another perfect example as to why you would fall in love with Aleatha.
Trevor and Shana's story is perfectly sweet, entertaining and swoon worthy. I both smiled and laughed while reading Another One. Besides that, who wouldn't want a book boyfriend with stunning green eyes! "He's the flame and I'm the kindling."
Having Duncan and Kimbra from Plus One reappear, another Aleatha Romig book, is also a wonderful bonus.
Another One is witty and light and it would make the perfect summer read. Grab some cannoli and your Kindle and you are set! 😍
